This has to go down in history as the ABSOLUTE WORST PRODUCT LAUNCH of all-time. 
Regardless of the item / product / industry.... I've never seen anything come close to being 'this raggedy'.
Fucking absurd.
When PS4's dropped in 2013.... I could walk into any big box electronic store & buy one without NEEDING a pre-order.
Apple just dropped the iPhone 12.
I can walk into any Apple Store, T-Mobile Store , Verizon Wireless Store, etc... and buy an iPhone 12.... WITHOUT any hassle whatsoever.
If all these damn iPhones & PlayStations are manufactured in the same damn country
.... and shipped here to the USA...... then why is there such a BIG DISCREPANCY in "availability"???
This makes no damn sense, whatsoever.
NO, these PS5's won't be available come Black Friday.
It's gonna be the same song & dance after Thanksgiving.
This "limited supply" is not caused by no pandemic. These retailers are playing games.
They are INTENTIONALLY withholding inventory from the public... in order to 'create demand'.. so they can only "sell bundles" & drive the price up.
But in order for it to work... they all 'have to be on the same page'. It's called "Collusion".

I was kind of tempted to buy a bundle from Gamestop around 12am, but the cost would have been over 800 and I'm not interested in NBA 2k or Miles Morales. It just didn't make since to buy the bundle at that price given that there aren't any games im interested in playing right now. They had another bundle with gift cards that I didn't need/want. If they would have sold a bundle with all accessories,i would have gotten it.

Covid could have played a big part in the issue. However, I thought i read Sony claimed Covid wouldn't be an issue and there would not be an issue with getting units today.i think this was said after the whole pre-order fiasco.
I don't recall having an issue pre-ordering a PS4.
I managed to keep one saved in my cart from 3pm. As soon as it hits 6pm, I'll try to check out again.
If that doesn't work for me, fuck it. I'll try the PS Store tomorrow.
The bundles ain't even a deal. They just want to move those units so they can recoup from selling the PS5 at a loss.

Yeah when I tried at 12 it was in my cart but they moved it to some later list or something like that but I got mad and removed it from that list.

You know how it goes, I picked one, hit checkout, confirmed shipping address, then got a error, they took the shit out my cart, sent me to the save for later page. Repeat 7 times.

Sony is one of the largest manufacturers of headphones and they sold out of these? And so happen the only way you can get 3d sound right now is through a headset. Calling BS on this one.
I've been using my wireless network and cell to try to buy. I may try to use a wired connection at 9PM. I doubt it will make difference, but it won't hurt anything to try.
