IT Experts: What's the best way to connect to the Playstation Portal when traveling?

Trying to figure out the best method of connecting to wifi during road trips w/ the kids. For those unfamiliar, this device allows you to log in and access PS5 games remotely, but you need some type of internet connection when using it.

When on the road, what's the best way to do so if the kids want to play it in the car? It connects via hotspot, but that's going to lag and will definitely run out quickly since the Playstation uses a lot of data. Any suggestions?
