OFFICIAL UFC 235 - March 2nd, 2019 - Vegas - Jones vs Smith / Woodley vs Usman

I hope he comes in the ring with the same focus he have when facing DC
I just think Smith has the reach and the power to touch Jones like he's never been hit.

Plus, Smith just has that quiet cerebral nature about him that makes me think he will surprise everyone with some sort of sneaky plan to attack Jon.

If not a win, I think he will give Jones a run for his money at least. We'll see....

What do you mean? He did test "dirty" again. TWICE in the past two weeks. Supposedly he will continue to have trace amounts of steroids in his body for a long time. Since they punished him for it already, they aren't going to keep punishing him for trace amounts of PED's in his system.

They seem to be implementing a more common sense approach to situations like his. The trace amounts aren't from new ingestion and its also not significant enough to give him and performance advantage. So... let him fight. They should have started doing this long before it ruined/ended other fighters' careers. I'm all for cleaning up the sport, but fighters were getting popped and fined to hella dumb shit.

Plus we're all fatigued about it

Yep, I damn sure am. When Jones pissed hot after ballooning up with all that muscle in his 635lb deadlift days, I already knew the deal, wasn't the least bit surprised... but it is what it is. I wanna see him fight.

yea i thought that too but his test just now came out clean.which proves he was microdosing.

Yeah I'm over it. Best some ass and leave me out of your blood tests lol. If they ain't mad I ain't either.

Just checking out the weigh-ins now. Added the clip a few replies back ^ - watch for Polyana Viana at the 05:39 mark. She's fine!

I don't know bruh.. I think Woodley might have his hands

Id put a few hundred on usman bruh...if Woodley cant take him down its a wrap...

if woodly can get him to the ground then I think he will have the advantage..

Definitely going to be interesting to see how it all plays out. Jones (elite status) versus Smith (plenty of fight experience). Will that serve Smith well, or will he get owned like many others before him? Jones is next level in the sport. I want to see how Usman & Woodley's wrestling balances itself out. Usman has great cardio and pressure, and Woodley has more power. Do we get the full 25 mins, or does someone get stopped? Judging from the weigh-ins and side profile shots of them ... Usman's got height (and reach?). How does Garbrandt look after the 2 Dillashaw losses? How does Askren look on the big UFC stage? Even though Lawler's past his prime ... he's a tough out for anyone. Just hope he doesn't get wrestle-grounded & dominated. I want to see how much offense he can put on Askren. How good his takedown defense & scrambling is. Askren can really nullify people. Really put it on them (which isn't the most exciting). Just hope Lawler stays out of too much trouble. Should be interesting. The women's fight on the main card should be fun. Both with speed & technique. Really hope that Zabit M' versus Stephens is a wild action fight as the prelim main eventer leading into the PPV. Those 2 guys don't have boring fights (hence their slot on the card).

Smith in an upset. Yeah I said it!

Jones will get KO'ed.

Chael agrees with you.... which now makes me intrigued...

This is as close as we can get to Jones vs. Rumble, which we never got to see

My question now is, if Lionheart beats Jones, does Rumble come out of retirement to see who REALLY got them hands?

Man I’m no where close to being a knowledge fan of UFC/MMA

Man I’m amazed at the level Jones skill set and his attitude. Dude seem to be very happy when approaching the ring. The few fights I’ve see he display little to no scariness. I find it even better when the many of y’all talking about him, most give encouraging works.

His fuck up are expressed also, but most say he’s that guy.

I think the way DC talks him up(even tho he do t like him)actually caught my eye. I was like, “damn DC giving dude the highest praise but is upset because he’s keep messing up” which seems to fuels the desire to beat Jones.

IMHO the only way Rumble returns is as HW for a belt.

Early Prelims are on! I'm interested in just about every fight tonight.

Hoping that little Hannah Cifers pulls out a win tonight after Maycee Barber beat her to a pulp.

Looking forward to following Barber's career as well. Really impressive, aggressive performance in her UFC debut previously, and she's got many years to get even better (still only 20yo). Trains at the same gym as Anthony Smith and company. Saw her occasionally in the Anatomy of a Fighter clips leading into fight week.

Great fight ladies. Congrats to Cifers. Although I though it was a UD, and not a split

I'm definitely following it too. She's a cutie and brutal on the ground.
