My squad accounted themselves great in their first national exposure in over 4 years, playing tough against one of the top 3-4 teams in the league while the probably MVP damn near dropped 50 on us! I disagree. I see what you're saying though because I guess this year is "stacked" according to some but winning is the best thing that could happen to this organization right now. You can't tell people to trust the process and still end up with a record like the Brooklyn Nets currently have. Not getting a top 5 pick shows your fanbase that the "process" is actually working because your record is actually improving. Can fill an arena with L's.

You can when you see progress. The draft pick doesn't negate what we are seeing on the court, even if it's close losses. I've been a season ticket holder for damn near 20 years now, and its a whole new world down there this season as opposed to the last 4. Getting one more year of good picks with the now obvious talent we've added adds to the excitement around here. Definitely want to see this through, but the ultimate goal is not just to be good enough to make the playoffs but to contend. You DEFINITELY want a higher pick in this years draft, and the fanbase overall would not have an issue with that my Dude. Plus, we get to swap picks with Sacramento, and hopefully the Lakers pick falls between 5-10 and we are golden.

Dude was correct that you don't need draft picks. Simmons and Embid are going to be max players so adding more draft picks does nothing for your team at this point.

Philly needs to start to find late a combo of vets and young players to build around Simmons and Embid.

Seriously though, I'm good on it, I'm good on getting a young core, let them grow together, sprinkle in a vet here and there and keep it moving. Give us a Monk or a Smith or Fulkes in this draft, with improvements we've made and I'm good. Any vet currently in the league who is available for what we need (shooter, playmaker) will not have the upside or potential talent those kids have. Look a LeBron now, and they are a CHAMPIONSHIP contender and can't find anybody worth while. Miss me with continuing to acquire the Gerald Henderson's of the world...

I'm good with the build from the draft direction... worked for OKC until they blew it up... :yes:

has more to do with the system than dwight.
harden wasn't supposed to be dominating the ball like he had been in the other systems. in this one he is which is why they're successful

also the shooting is light years better now than when dwight was on the team.
you could plug him into this lineup the way they play and they'd be just as good imo because the shooters on the outside are better and harden is a willing passer for easy buckets that the bigs get.

Point blank the Western Conference is weak as fuck. Grossly overrated on BGOL. Dull, boring, predictable. No one will challenge the Warriors, might as well forfeit now cuz the WCF will be ass. The Warriors and a bunch of scrub teams comprises the conference.

Thats how you know the west is weak yall using regular season records. No one cares about or will be watching the Western Conference PLAYOFFS. Wont be 1 competitive series (cant say the same for the East) which will come back to bite in the ass in the Finals. You were warned.
