Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

Curry looks focused as f*ck...

you see they ALREADY starting the whole

KD is gonna ruin the chemistry narrative?
They were winning even prior to KD. The only difference now is that the bench players are getting a chance to shoot in volumes and they are winning with defense instead of offense. With KD they were easily putting up 74 pts by half.

of course they are that's ok KD is going to do exactly what he did before the only difference is the bench is going to play and the defense is better and curry will distribute the ball more.
Durant has been on the bench watching what's going on he's not coming in to change the game up he's coming in to make it more lethal
for 3 quarters of the season they were just doing shit out there. not really actually playing good basketball
Not playing good basketball? The Warriors are only 5 games off the record breaking 73-9 season and that is with Durant missing a month. With KD available y'all probably win 4 more of those games easily putting the Warriors at 66-11 but they where not playing good basketball despite being number one in just about every statistic

The ONLY things that will stop the Monstars is injury, Klay & Curry going COLD at the same time, officiating and Kerr making some coaching mistakes.

And even ALL that?

They may STILL overcome.

sidebar: What you think of so called fans COMPLETELY ignoring the consistency of Lebron over the entirety of his career?

You think its one of those they will LOVE him when he is gone situations?
In the NBA and sports in general, style of play is a HUGE factor in how people idolize a player. Jordan was not only a good player but his game had style and Flash. From the hanging tongue to hanging and twisting in the air to make shots. People also love when a player tries to destroy his opponent.

Lebron is none of those things. He never really cared much about personally destroying his opponents. Lebron would always get his but he was never about let me go out and score 50 on dude just to embarrass him.

Also Lebrons games is pretty boring as he has a good fundamentally sound game. His game as a whole is beautiful to watch but he lacks flash. For example, Kyrie is a flashy player.

When you add in Lebrons personality which is passive aggressive, many will not create this unrealistic idolization that they may do for another player

Man, LB is just a player that is so dominate that I don't think it's possible for him to ever play on or develop a high chemistry squad like GS or SA.

All his seasons it's the same thing with him and he has genuinely tried to change. He wanted to change. He wants to do what Duncan was doing in SA and log less minutes. But he can't. It's impossible for him to do.

We've watched this man his entire career just dominate his squad. Everyone just plays off of him and barely with him. You look at GS and SA, you see cohesiveness. Something he's not really had, but always wanted. Even down in Miami, that team reverted to James' way of playing ball.

I've said it many times, his greatest strength is his greatest weakness. Being able to be good to great at just about all positions make it hard to find players to fill those positions. Kyrie is about the most complimentary player I have ever seen Bron play with, but that is because Kyrie can do things Bron can't do and Bron has never really had a player like that. No disrespect to Wade or anything, but Wade wasn't the same player when Bron go there.

Some of this can be pointed at coaching, but a lot is from Bron being a dominate player in multiple positions. How do you build a team around a kat that all he need is shooters? I tell you, if Bron really wanted what he sees in GS and SA, then he is going to have to settle for a much lower seed in the east to allow those growing pains to happen. With the exception of SA, GS has some growing pains that eventually clicked when everyone found their role. Kats on Cleveland looks lost at what they are suppose to do or what their role is at times.
That is because Lebron refuses to play off the ball. Blatt brought in the motion offense in which would have looked very similar to the Warriors and Spurs where the ball moves.

Lebron scrapped that and wanted to go to an offense when where everyone clears the floor and wait in a corner to shoot.

I wouldn't say refuses. They tried that early when Lebron first came back

Kyrie is more comfortable and better scoring than setting up others

Yup that's why late in games they often slide him to the 2 and let dwill run point.

Man this the same shit I was thinking, but I like the mind set, showing so growth. This one of the thing I always felt Mark Jackson help with the young dubs when he coach. That toughness overall on the squad is lacking.

Who on that squad would you expect to start should shit(besides JR) along with finishing shot also?

So props for Uncle Drew for stepping up and saying but most importantly doing something.

Ya'll realize Lebron one of the greatest players of all time right?

Its funny how people find ANY excuse to spin sh*t...

so its the system, but then when they lose?

the player DID NOT HONOR the system...when that doesn't work?

but then its they drafted the WRONG players for the system...

oh wait they SLAVES to the system they need to create something for the players they HAVE currently...

that's all whatever.

When the Cavs lose its Lebron fault.

So they WON a championship though...so if he gets ALL the blame?

So can he get all the CREDIT too.

So if he the REAL GM and the REAL COACH, Why aint he get Executive of the Year and a bonus for working 3 jobs?

Get the f*ck out of here....

they fired the coach and he won a chip case closed...all this revisionist sh*t is worthless.

Finding flaws in Lebron game? In KD game? In Curry game? In Westbrook game? In Harden 2.0 game?

Waste of time.

Right now its the REST of the guys on the roster that matter....

These STARS can excel in pretty much ANY system, these coaches get exposed when they have to put in REAL work and draw up REAL shit in the 4th quarter and relay on the OTHER dudes to play.

The playoff seeds are pretty much set for the west

Warriors will see either the rockets/Grizz or SA in the WCF...

The east honestly is wide open between cavs/Celtics/Washington

Cavs gotta see the Bulls in the first round or Raps in the second lol

They weren't
they were playing bad basketball and having bad habits same bad habits that cost them a ring
now they're playing the right way
they were barely playing defense and barely tossing out assists or running the offense and kerr was playing the starters too much and not building a bench

now we see west always come in mcgee always comes in clark always comes in
now there is a LEGIT bench that's just as good if not better than last year, like i said it would be before this it didn't matter because he'd keep kd klay or steph on the court
now he don't keep none of them on the court so the bench can do what they get paid for

Indiana fell of a cliff
George has been playing well
That dude Miles or whatever his name is the big out of texas needs to grab some fucking rebounds

I wouldn't go that far breh they ain't got shit to lose and Rondo if all people exposed them last game.. that's what happens when your team defense is ass cheeks.. Kyrie can't guard a roach

True but remember we're talking about Bulls teams vs Bron led teams...

Shut up man. Go fire up the grill or something

Man number one in about every category and complaining:lol:

You're on 1000 with your Troll game with this tin foil hat conspiracy BS huh Bruh! Classic shit tho I must say! :roflmao:
It is true. His teammates really want him to get the triple double also. It is the same how in football, the offensive line wants to get their running back 2000 yards.

His bigs and teammates do a very good job of boxing out allowing Russ to steal 3 or 4 rebounds.

and Noah didn't either

good free agent signings by Phil, two injury prone players :smh:

Broken down ass Bulls who were used up by coach Thibs

At least Noah is tough and tries to play through shit

He even tried PEDs to get back on the court

The Snickers are a super team, remember :dunno:

and they might not get quick four and five game playoff series this year to be rested going in to the finals

They not even going to the Finals. The disrespect Boston continues to get on this board is disgusting. :smh:
