The ONLY things that will stop the Monstars is injury, Klay & Curry going COLD at the same time, officiating and Kerr making some coaching mistakes.

And even ALL that?

They may STILL overcome.

sidebar: What you think of so called fans COMPLETELY ignoring the consistency of Lebron over the entirety of his career?

You thin its one of those they will LOVE him when he is gone situations?

At this point I ain't trying to hear ignoring Lebron or something. he don't get ignored

I listened to espn radio this morning brian windhorst is saying the cavs are injured and they just need time

2 weeks ago he was saying the warriors just aren't good right now and that they're in trouble while kevin fucking durant was hurt

so

And on top of all that, Bron logged another 40 minutes in play time.

That's completely criminal on Lue's part
there are things they could do to be better he's talking about not showing his hand but you don't intentionally NOT do anything in order to not show your hand that's just bullshit.
but he plays lebron all night every night and he takes hits every night
last night he took a knee to the thigh limped for a like 5 possessions and then just kept on playing
yes he's iron man and amazing but give him some help.
sit him down.

wow...he all over the place

cause a week ago he said Cavs don't care. and not focused

and when I say ignored I am talking his ENTIRE career.

That's what I'm saying.
Same people saying Curry was fully healed from a sprained MCL last playoffs
Same dudes saying no excuses Kevin Durant is out so what
lol

and they Lying.

EVERYBODY knows Curry was hurt...but I like that he isn't using it for an excuse and he shouldn't it.

and KD doesn't have any excuses either

and neither do ANY of these players.

Injuries are all part of this.

Officiating coaching travel etc etc...

just play.

We can have all that crazy sports talk stuff...but if we can't base it on SOME realty its annoying as hell.

Brian Windbag is a cavs lacky and now making excuses.. he damn sure wasn't making excuses for GS last year when Steph got nicked up..

He quiet as fuck about GS now tho

Can't feel sorry for Bron, Lue was his pick.. Blatt use to get Bron rest even in the face of not having Kyrie and love

I do feel sorry for him in the minutes aspect. Lue should know better and it's an easy fix. The problem isn't even NOW it's he was playing him 40 minutes a night in January and Feb and shit.

Yeah man and those mins add up.. if he has nothing in the tank come playoffs his legs will be shot, jumpshot will be flat.. if Lue was smart he would move Bron to the PG

Pels beat the Kings 117-89

Boogie had 37 and 13, 3 steals, 2 blocks. 5/8 from three

AD had 19 and 12 with 5 blocks..

AD also becomes the first Hornets/Pelicans player to score 2000 or more points in a season.
(This is the Hornets/Pelicans history from 2002-present)

Pelicans 8-3 in last 11 games after DeMarcus Cousins’ 37-13 game vs. former team

http://www.nba.com/pelicans/news/pe...er-demarcus-cousins-37-13-game-vs-former-team

New Orleans’ postgame locker room late Friday evening was filled with unfamiliar faces – at least to the locals – but they were very friendly ones for DeMarcus Cousins. As the three-time All-Star prepared to discuss a 117-89 victory over Sacramento, a Kings radio broadcaster stopped by, who was followed by two trainers, an equipment manager and ex-teammate Ben McLemore, among others. Cousins exchanged hugs with each of the men, then grinned and joked as he caught up with his former Sacramento colleagues.

The 26-year-old had ample reason to smile, because he and the Pelicans had just thoroughly dominated to the tune of a 28-point victory, with Cousins going for 37 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and two blocks over 35 minutes of work. New Orleans (33-43) kept its playoff hopes alive, winning a sixth consecutive home game, part of an 8-3 overall stretch that equals the finest for a Cousins team during his seven-year NBA career.

While many may have expected Cousins to make comments about getting “payback” or “revenge” in his first meeting with the team that traded him Feb. 20, he went the opposite direction. “There is no bad blood,” he summarized of his relationship with the Kings, while a few members of that organization stood nearby.

The media focus was primarily on what Friday’s matchup against Sacramento meant to Cousins personally, but the 26-year-old recoiled at the idea of being the center of attention.

“I didn’t want to come in and make it about me,” he said. “My biggest fear was doing that and coming out with a loss. That would’ve been terrible. I was happy we came out with the right approach, a lot of energy and set the tone early. We played the right type of basketball throughout the night. I’m more happy about that than any of the stuff you guys (media) are looking for.”

As a result, the eminently quotable Cousins – already the creator of popular Pelicans nicknames “Fire and Ice” and “Instant Grits” – didn’t provide any controversial or combative sound bites directed toward the Kings (sample from postgame TV: “It just feels good to get a win”). Instead, he noted his friendships with developing Sacramento young players such as Willie Cauley-Stein and Skal Labissiere. He also thanked his New Orleans teammates for doing whatever they could to make sure the Pelicans picked up a victory on a memorable night.

“They were great about it,” Cousins said of the other Pelicans. “They knew how much this game meant. It’s obvious, the history between (Cousins and Sacramento). I’m glad they had my back and supported me throughout the night. The biggest thing I let them know they should be worried about is getting the win.”

With six games remaining in the regular season, New Orleans needs to keep winning in order to remain mathematically alive in the Western Conference playoff race. Any combination of three NOLA losses or victories by Portland (37-38, hosts Phoenix late Saturday) would bring an end to the Pelicans’ slim hopes of extending their recent excellent play into a postseason berth. As coaches and players have noted often recently, however, the team’s finish to 2016-17 could serve as a springboard into the offseason and beyond.

“We’re in a weird situation where we need Portland to lose and Denver (is) the same situation,” Pelicans forward Solomon Hill said of playing well but still trailing eighth place. “We’re just happy to see it paying off, and seeing what can be. We want to keep this momentum going, whether we make (the playoffs) or not.”

Yeah man no pleas of any kind

Man, LB is just a player that is so dominate that I don't think it's possible for him to ever play on or develop a high chemistry squad like GS or SA.

All his seasons it's the same thing with him and he has genuinely tried to change. He wanted to change. He wants to do what Duncan was doing in SA and log less minutes. But he can't. It's impossible for him to do.

We've watched this man his entire career just dominate his squad. Everyone just plays off of him and barely with him. You look at GS and SA, you see cohesiveness. Something he's not really had, but always wanted. Even down in Miami, that team reverted to James' way of playing ball.

I've said it many times, his greatest strength is his greatest weakness. Being able to be good to great at just about all positions make it hard to find players to fill those positions. Kyrie is about the most complimentary player I have ever seen Bron play with, but that is because Kyrie can do things Bron can't do and Bron has never really had a player like that. No disrespect to Wade or anything, but Wade wasn't the same player when Bron go there.

Some of this can be pointed at coaching, but a lot is from Bron being a dominate player in multiple positions. How do you build a team around a kat that all he need is shooters? I tell you, if Bron really wanted what he sees in GS and SA, then he is going to have to settle for a much lower seed in the east to allow those growing pains to happen. With the exception of SA, GS has some growing pains that eventually clicked when everyone found their role. Kats on Cleveland looks lost at what they are suppose to do or what their role is at times.

Cavaliers' Kyrie Irving becomes enforcer after foul on LeBron James

Kyrie is finished watching LeBron take late hits

CLEVELAND -- Kyrie Irving slammedPhiladelphia 76ers forward Justin Anderson into the sideline to earn a flagrant foul less than 90 seconds into the game Friday night and declared it payback for rough treatment ofCavaliers teammate LeBron James.

Anderson appeared to shove James from behind moments before and James fell to the court. Irving reacted when Anderson next got the ball and pushed him into the Sixers' bench.

"Whether it was malicious or not ... I kinda saw Justin kinda lower his shoulder and knock down Bron," Irving said. "I was like ... I gotta do something, I've got to protect my brother. A lot of late hits on Bron, a lot of guys trying to get one over on him. It's over for that, it's over for that."

Said James: "He was protecting me from getting shoved. It's about it being a brotherhood around here and not letting anything happen to each other."

The play seemed to set a tone for the Cavs, who jumped out to a huge first-half lead and broke their three-game losing streak with a 122-105 victory.

The team had meetings in the locker room following losses in San Antonio and Chicago earlier this week. Prior to the game Friday, coach Tyronn Lue indicated it was time to stop talking and to start acting.

Irving, who had 24 points, appeared to look for an opportunity to send a message early in the game.

"The guys talked last night, a good talk amongst themselves," Lue said. "Now we have to play. We've had enough talk over the last couple of weeks."

Irving's aggressive reaction seemed to surprise Anderson, who said neither his play nor Irving's was dirty.

"He was just protecting his teammate. I think he saw LeBron went down .... He fell, and it was kind of weird because I didn't think he was going to fall as big as he was," Anderson said. "It wasn't a dirty play on my end and I don't think it was dirty on his. I was fine and we continued to move on."

Some Cavs players watched the end of the Boston Celtics' one-point victory over the Orlando Magic in the locker room. It kept the team a half-game back for the top seed in the Eastern Conference with less than two weeks left in the regular season. After a 7-10 March that cost them playoff positioning, the Cavs showed signs of improved defense over the past few games and now some renewed fight they hope will help trigger a turnaround.

"Our process was probably started about five to six days ago," Irving said, referring to the team meeting following the loss in San Antonio. "Now the seed's been planted and now it's just going to grow. So I'm excited about it."

Noted for when someone somebody don't like do it

That sounds good but it's really all about the way he wants to play
He doesn't want to play in those types of systems.
Or he would.

He always talks about pop and the spurs so I don't think your statement is accurate

It is tho and it's not a bad way to play
It's a great way to play
Let him operate and then have shooters knock down shots it's got 3 rings

Otherwise both bosh and love would be operating out of the post like they could either low or high post and he wouldn't dominate the ball.
Which again is not a bad thing he's the best player on the planet he's supposed to dominate the ball.
