Official Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Discussion (12/1/17 @8PM)

Lol, They're borrowing alot from westworld.

In both stories a human scientist needed an android programmer to help program better AI. That explains why Radcliff needed Fitz's help with Ada.

Also Radcliff is a character from a marvel comics called machine teen, about a boy who discovers that he's actually a robot.

Radcliff worked with the boys father ( inventor) just like Radcliff worked with Fitz's "father " on this show.

Marvel has lots of mad scientists, but they picked this character for a reason.

None of which had anything to do with Westworld though. Just a coincidence. Wasn't no guarantee Westworld was going to be a hit and this script and plot was developed long before we saw season 1 of Westworld.

I figured most would disagree.....last season I loved Flash...this season, not so much..but whatever

I have ABSOLUTELY no time for any other shows...I tried Supergirl. I couldnt get past the pilot. She was OK on the crossover....that was good enough for me.

Actually watched an episode of Lucifer..it was pretty good...

Heard IZombie was good...but no time

other shows that I have no time for:

Walking Dead
Game of Thrones
any Netflix series that isnt Marvel

If,you got the time...I would highly recommend watching iZombie

Agents of shield is running on a different level right now. It's slipped into my top 5 Sci-fi shows and I've got a lot of sci-fi shows.

Breaking up the seasons... was brilliant.

I've said a million times,I thought them moving Agents of Shield would fuck this up,but it made it alot better.

To think,I stopped watching this show, after the fifth episode, this show came along way.....I'm glad I decided to give it another chance

This is my favorite show on TV,right now..

Best out for RIGHT NOW
Preacher- Flawless
Westworld- Flawless
Gotham- Damn near Flawless, introducing transcendent performances from main characters.
Shield- We in the thread
Luke- Cotton mouth was the shit and now Black Mariah is going to carry that torch
Daredevil- Integral, especially this season with the punisher- please.
Cleverman- Probably haven't heard of it, I know, but it's a fucking incredible piece of work and it plays on racism and class as well as aboriginal belief systems that transcend continent's If you're a person of color, you'll immediately identify with Cleverman period.

List is suspect as fuck. However, it's your list I'll let it be.

You said Gotham is flawless. That show is atrocious and haven't watched it since penguin tried to kiss Ngima

I watch every week when did THAT happen?

Cause I could have sworn that happened THIS week for the first time ( I coudl be wrong) so you seen every episode

and Jerome has been one of the best modern TV villains.

I believe Bills saying flawless RECENTLY.

Agents of shield coming through wiping that horrible after taste from Legends out of my senses.

Man Gawd fucking damn... finally finished and I'm going to have to comeback to comment.

Holy fucking shit...

Que up every mind blown gifs.. I need all the gifs right now.

Inception level because they don't know.
Or maybe they do
Well Phil does but do the rest of the lmd know they are?
Also how does Fitz and Simmons act normal knowing all of their friends are lmd
Also does daisy lmd have her shock wave powers
If so
What's stopping him from just recreating every other hero and controlling them?

Please take that quick little Blurb from Fitz where he said "I thought it was dark when we arrived" and put it in your back pocket... Shield has a 3rd arc coming up that combines the Ghost Rider & LMD storylines and something tells me that that little Blurb is going to come back and blow minds in the end.

There are some things that have dropped over the course of this season that's setting up a major reveal.

I just need them to reveal how they switched out all the real agents for LMD? I was trying to follow what Fitz and Gemma were saying about the missing gap of time, but I got lost.

I am guessing the superior wasn't in on the plans to switch the agents with the LMD, since he thinks both inhumans and LMD's are a threat to humans. It appears Aida and Radcliffe were just using him for resources.

Easily done they all split up
Superior was def not in on the plans at all.

They all split and lost communications... My take is that the scenes with the Director were the LMD version of him. Then he activated and took out Coulson and Mac. Then Aida probably took out Daisy.

But remember that Fitz and Gemma eventually split up as well and they lost track of time as well. That last point is going to come back later.

As far as I'm concerned it's the best show on tv. I don't understand why the ratings are bad :dunno:

People jumped ship during the first half of season 1 and they still haven't come back. Looking back, I completely understand the gamble that they took.

Build Ward up over 12 episodes and then have one of the biggest Twists on TV.. but those first 12 episodes were almost unwatchable.

I just hope that Netflix can come through.... This show would be fucking amazing if we could mix in some Defenders stuff.

I agree, I couldnt watch the first season, even with Deathlok there were still too many white people lol.

A Defenders cross over would be cool but I doubt Netflix will let any of their characters appear on ABC, since all their stuff also appears on Hulu; a competitor.

Maybe ABC characters could appear on Netflix. But I don't see Netflix paying for that.
