One of the things that I liked about this movie was even though they were so powerful they didn't seem like Gods. Nolan's batman couldn't fit in this world but hopefully the next adaptation of Bats will. Batman/Superman are Night/Day, Brain/Brawn Odeyssues/Achilles the dynamic between their differences and similarities make one of the most unique partnerships in all comics. But anyway I give the movie and 8 it was epic.Glad to see Supes back.Man, Bats not made for this level of the game.
Cats are getting thrown through buildings and having trains sets thrown at them. The symbol for hope is breaking.....

Black in the film have been reduced to nothing...we only have a colonel and News editor.
Superman's dad is is played by Russell Crowe with a upper class posh British accent, presumably hailing from the planet far distant from that of General Zod, played by Michael Shannon with an American accent...

M.O.S. was very good if you forget the original Superman movies and his origin.
This one had some twists in it like the relationship with Zod and Jor-el and how Supes becomes Clark and the demise of Jonathan.
Just a few questions:
Will Jimmy Olsen be in the sequel as well as Lex Luthor (he is reference in one of the fight scenes)?

His bruce isnt tenacious enough, unless you use dark knight bruce.. thats when he started getting into the edgy version. But back to supes.. As far as casualties, it was way too many to count! Yeah, even though they didn't show a lot of actual deaths, you can tell thousands easily died.
I think Lex is a given for the sequel. All of the events from MOS will lead up to a good Lex intro. Lex can come through saying "He's no savior", "He's no hero". "He came from the same place that Zod did". Lex would go about pointing out all of the destruction and loss of life that occured while Superman fought Zod, that would get him favors and position him to further his own hidden agenda.

I am not sure how some can say the movie sucked. I was drawn in from the opening scenes. Zod's first scene was so menacing until I was like this dude is going to be a problem.
The special effects and opening action scene where great. I personally love the suits they wore.
Everyone knows the story of Superman and I am glad they choose to use flashbacks to revisit his earlier life. There was no need to drag the story along on things we already knew.
What impressed me the most was that they did not make Superman a Simp. He gave the chick Lois Lane that one...you gone get fucked look and the pussy is mine and she fell right in line. Instead of running being a chick the entire movie looking like a Simp.

Kara Zor-El or Supergirl will be in sequel based on the official MOS prequel graphic novel that came out 2 months ago. Remember the spaceship he found in the arctic? their were two life pods one had a body the other empty.

The movie was good. Better than iron man. Good action. No love scenes except for that kiss.
Only thing that would have made it epic would have been during the scene when the bus goes in the water, they should have had aquaman push the bus out of the water or summoned a whale to push it.

Seems more logical for Lex to be in the second and introduce Metallo and or Brainiac then hint at either Darksied or a justice league movie. Lex will be the only one to give you a sense of if a regular human can be a threat to superman. Hell Guardian was already sorta established in this movie.

They won't do Cadmus so early. They won't be making clones of Zod so early. It'd be too much the same. For the 2nd one they're going to go Luther. Snyder and Nolan wouldn't do that.

That way you see Lex doing everything within his power to actually help, but he is finding out information about superman from morality to physicality, powers and conditioning. So the audience expects a betrayal somwhere, but there are so many innocent accidents that clark/kal really doesn't come to that conclusion until its ultimately too late
There is a work around the kryptonite, i thought of several scenarios for metallo.. lex recovers the scout ship that kal el found. They try to clone or re-animate the body that was a corpse. They succeed yet the body cant sustain itself without kryptonian enviorment, metallo is a crazed bio- engineer and creates a means of keeping himself alive. Yet the gases or fumes he gives off is highly toxic because he created a knock off enviormental suit which is leaving a trail of bodies that are sick, near death or dead period. He needs Kal El because he is pure kryptonian to adapt to the earth. Lex however will manipulate Metallo enough to use him as a mere distraction to continue with his plans which would more than likely be political.
