Wow nice adds... I love this showJustified Adds Three New Cast Members
Justified showrunner Graham Yost is making good on his plan to integrate more of Elmore Leonard's characters into the show's forthcoming seasons following the creator’s passing earlier this year. FX’s outlaw drama has added three new cast members to its fifth season, all part of the fictional Crowe family, which Yost told Deadline “is a big part of [Leonard’s] world.”

TV Line reported that Michael Rapaport will play ex-convict and gator farm owner Dale Crowe, Jr., a “smart, ruthless and charismatic patriarch of a Florida crime family who will face off against Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) in the upcoming season.”

Playing Crowe’s smart, sexy paralegal sister Wendy is Alicia Witt, a character who “dickers with Raylan to cut a nice deal for Dale, in exchange for essentially nothing tangible, and enjoys outmaneuvering the Kentucky lawman,” according to Deadline.

Then there’s Edi Gathegi (last seen on ABC’s Family Tools), who’ll play Jean Baptiste, a Haitian criminal in in charge of the Crowe family gator farm and former member of the Haitian secret police who “has a coldly merciless attitude when it comes to disposing of both gators and humans.” Hold tight for all the Dixie drama when season five airs in early 2014.
Wow nice adds... I love this show
i havent watched tonight's episode but last season was amazing and the writing so far this sit is nothing short of top notcheason has been outstanding
these guys know how to write crime fiction
Boyd is actually MORE dangerous.
I n my opinion.
Cause that boy got a code a twisted moral compass.
Almost like a cracked mirror reflection of Omar from the Wire.
His shit aint based just on fear, greed or power.
Deep done he knows he is messed up but feels he is "justified".
i know its only like 2 ppl who watch this show but GOD DAMN was this episode eventful to see the least.
more ppl died in the last hour of television than I can anything i can remember.
and damn Arlo has no fucks to give, even on his death bed. Went out like a G and Raylan was the reason he was caught yes boys got lucky that railing was there to save his tailin the crossfires. The show aint gonna be the same without him.
Once again Boyd stayed one step ahead of his rivals but Raylan came through by pure coicncicdence to save his ass. Now Boyd taking credit for everything and bout to cash out til he cross Theo (who no one is bigger than other than God & Uncle Sam)
like you said, they circled the wagons and then drewbacca? oh I rewound that about 5 times. that dude has some heart.most people would have given up information already, but what sense does it make when you know they're going to kill you anyway
They were pulling mad camera tricks to make Yolo's punches hardcore and more intense, showing even Boyd was on the ropes behind Yolo's interrogation, all to emphasize the beating Bob took and didn't break under.
" They circled the wagons! " Was my favorite quote until . . . " Drew-Bacca "!
I know, chopping it up like they were in a bar. Who does that? The dialogue I hope when I get good I can write dialogue that great^
the writing is so OUTSTANDING...
i could just LISTEN to the dialogue like an audiobook...
my part is Raylan and Boyd having a casual conversation about HS and that astronaut.
WHO THE HELL DOES THAT?!?!?![]()
yep, I saw that one coming as soon as he gave him a gun I was like yep he's toast.Yeah ya did. The second Colt told Mort, " I was wrong I see Drew! " and then Mort's dumb ass gave up his long rifle, you knew Mort was dead!![]()
This show is one of the many reasons I can't fuck with network t.v. anymore. All of the really innovative scripted programming has moved to cable.
This season is off the hook. I knew I was in for a ride when dude in the whore house got shot by Ellen Mae while dressed up in the bear costume. Definite step up from last season, which wasn't that bad.
The last three episodes have had so many "oh shit" moments, from Arlo kickin' it, to Drew Thompson, to the circling of the wagons... and more Erica Tazel which is always a good thing.
I wonder if they can keep it going, because last night was good as one hour dramas get.
Yeah, this has got to be top 3 best dialogue on television. It's based on an Elmore Leonard work and they've really stayed with his voice and the intricate way he draws characters. Everyone, even the most minor players like Constable Bob, has their own memorable voice.
Art's monologue about Drew Thompson being a bad ass, and Arlo's last words to his son: "Kiss my ass."...classic...
Raglan is a terrible lawman. He beat up Dewey so bad he received 300k, he helped Sammie Tonenen take over the Detroit operation which gave Boyd access, then he removed Daryl Crowes parole and leaked info to his Haitian friend so they now have incentive to leave Florida for Kentucky.
All his girls are fucked up too...Winona & child left for Mia because he can't protect them, his bartender blonde is AWOL, and Ava is in prison for trying to make him jealous.
He's a tornado that destroys everything he touches

first The Haitian has arrived
Why in all these shows does the character have to be referred to as THE HAITIAN???
Cause the Canadians were real Canadians
back to the subject at hand
Raylan is one of the best marshal's.
Problem is he is more like Boyd then he is ever willing to admit.
They are the same man but its that little itch of conscious that separates them.
And watching every episode and reading the books...
he is human and makes mistakes which is what makes him so compelling.
but don't for a minute think Raylan didn't deliberately drop the thing about the 300K.
Boyd is stealing this show man...
and the writing.
Its stuff like this that makes me delete pages and pages of work after hours/days of writing.
Notice the completely divergent story lines and they still told a complete story dropped breadcrumbs foreshadowing references to last season and was smart and funny and pretty much introduced and killed some really potentially great characters.
In about an hour.
damn
And loved seeing Ava.
Rappaport really got to work on that accent...The Haitian too.
Very true. And Rapaports accent is very shitty.Michael Rapaport has a crappy southern accent. it's funny the Brits and the Australians they can all drop their accent and found like they're from somewhere else but most New Yorkers...just can't lose the New York
Nah. You couldnt be more wrong on his character. All these characters are flawed on their own. He isnt a poison individual that infects everything in his vincinity...these people are already flawed and broken. Keep in mind Winona was married to a corrupt business that Raylan had to save her from. That had nothing to do with Raylan. The bartender blonde was a scam artist, and Ava was married to a Crowder even before her and Raylan smashed. He isnt the source of any of these peoples condition. They are all varying degrees of hillbillies in the literally sense and all come carrying their own baggage.Raglan is a terrible lawman. FX just announced the sixth, 2015 season will be the last for “Justified.”
Which is too short but still twice as long as Tim Olyphant’s “Deadwood.”
This assumes FX orders a sixth season, which it has not yet.
Announcement came at FX’s TCA event in Pasadena.
How yall Fuckers aint let me know this shit started already? Im thinking tonight is the premiere and this shit is the 2nd episode
Anyone know where I can find The first episode?
And yall aint say the Harris Brothers was on this season either![]()
First time I've seen Wood & Steve Harris together on a show
First time I've seen Wood & Steve Harris together on a show
Yup. Avon Barksdale and Snotboogie (Steve was Snotboogie on the very first episode of The Wire in the beginning, the very beginning before the credits.)
glad they're getting a chance to work together that's pretty cool. This show as hot as hell I was surprised that people want talking about it on this site yet as far as the season.as much as I love this show I am glad that it's going out still being good and not like Dexter dragging on. the writing on this show really give me something to aspire to
Man the writing is the best. Raylin lines are gold and I can quote every word out of Byod's mouth. This truly is my favorite TV Show.
you can already tell this season is gonna be cray-cray
Boyd about to dump Ava ...or at least fool around on her....He always been 100% devoted
I dont think so, He tried to beat a dude to death over her.
"I'll put four of you down before you clear your guns, and I will take my chances with the other two" - That is a bad mother fucker.
