Official JUSTIFIED Discussion Thread UPDATE: They BACK new mini series! Justified: City Primeval

i know its only like 2 ppl who watch this show but GOD DAMN was this episode eventful to see the least.
more ppl died in the last hour of television than I can anything i can remember.

and damn Arlo has no fucks to give, even on his death bed. Went out like a G and Raylan was the reason he was caught in the crossfires. The show aint gonna be the same without him.

Once again Boyd stayed one step ahead of his rivals but Raylan came through by pure coicncicdence to save his ass. Now Boyd taking credit for everything and bout to cash out til he cross Theo (who no one is bigger than other than God & Uncle Sam)

Boyd Crowder is Shane Vendrell all over again. This time with a much cooler exterior and a much smarter woman
But looks like they're headed for the same demise. I mean no one is gonna deal with the fact that both of his seconds are self destructing?
If he lives til next season he might be out of the game completely

Johnny wants to kill Boyd (behind his back) and Colt for smacking up the prostitute
Colt lost the witness and did not tell Boyd. When Boyd finds out he will want to kill Colt (for hiding the fact)
Colt is a junkie hiding his addiction who just killed either the best friend or BROTHER of a US Marshal (Raylon's partner)

shit about to hit the fan

I think Shelby is Drew.

Raylon & Arlo in the hospital was sad. Raylon didn't want him to die. It hasent hit him yet but next episode it will.

yeah its starting to look like Shelby is Drew, especially when he told Ellen May that if you pretend to be something long enough you become it.

and loved the scene between to Arlo & Raylan. The ultimate love/hate relationship

I dont know, Shelby been in the town a long ass time and he was sheriff once before. And No Raylin Hates Arlo, but in the end it is his father so it still hurts. Favorite Boyd line this ep "You mean the fact Im still alive not gonna apologize for that"

This line had me.

I know people like you are used to taking from people like me But there comes a point when people like me can’t take any more taking.

Now, all the things you’ve done, the way you built your fortunes,it might make you criminals, but it don’t make you outlaws.

I am the outlaw. And this is my world.

He added that Dairy Queen just for a big fuck you!

 that whole exchange was the highlight of the episode - from school yard taunts at first to Raylan pulling up while Bob is spraying the house!

Yeah I gotta admit this episode was a little boring until that part. That and the part with Colt. I thought for sure somebody was gone kill that boy
But I guess Boyd sees that he's loyal and spared his life. But Constable Bob always good for some action with his Police Vega

damn Johnny playing all sides but appreciated his speech cause it reminded me why he really holds a grudge against Boyd. Boyd has always been a flake and the prodigal son.

speaking of Boyd; Damn shame they didnt even know about Arlo

and god damn Alla Mae is like an abused dog, she actually Ava after she put a hit out on her. Looks like she crossed the point of no return after they gave up Shelew

I thought Boyd was gonna have trouble, but look like next week the Mob is working with them to fuck the Marshall's up.

Favorite quotes:

Boyd
This job has too much paper work for a man like you Raylan. You shoulda been on the other side, with me and your daddy. You'd still be able to shoot people, and be an ass hole...your two favorite activities.

Art
Hold on lets take the time to reflect on how awesome this guy is.

man Justified just keeps bringing the heat. And who woulda thought a small character that Boyd helped would have become a big story line in season 4.

these guys are good.

And I am very surprised they let Colt live after losing Ellen Mae. And they wove back in my dude Limehouse.

Excellent hillbilly universe they have crafted

I hope they give Limehouse more face time towards the end.

It would be uber gangster if he raises his price for Ellen Mae again....lol.

BTW, one white whore and a bunch a niggas?

An enterprising porner can make a decent flick from this storyline.

I JUST got caught up this weekend:eek:

I cannot believe this show is not considered one of the best on TV and I swear 2 more seasons like this it WILL reach all time status.

I'll be back...as a Supernatural fan I KNEW Shelby was gonna way more important!

Last night was pretty intense. You aint know who was going to die or get shot. I thought for sure Raylan was going to shoot Boyd. I love the trap Cult set and the other Marshall was like "He is going to try and make us move" Art
What are we going to do?

Other Marshal
Move!

Then they circled the wagon. That shit was awesome.

They were pulling mad camera tricks to make Yolo's punches hardcore and more intense, showing even Boyd was on the ropes behind Yolo's interrogation, all to emphasize the beating Bob took and didn't break under.

" They circled the wagons! " Was my favorite quote until . . . " Drew-Bacca "!

^

the writing is so OUTSTANDING...

i could just LISTEN to the dialogue like an audiobook...

my part is Raylan and Boyd having a casual conversation about HS and that astronaut.

WHO THE HELL DOES THAT?!?!?

I sear the writers are some hip hop heads...

I mentioned earlier in the thread last season they had a Wu-Tang quote in like 4 episodes in a row!!!

*edit YOLO is that funeral home nerd dude from that being human...wow

A friend of mines been trying to get me to watch it...I've been asking the first season, since last year and nobody didnt get no links to it..

This show is one of the many reasons I can't fuck with network t.v. anymore. All of the really innovative scripted programming has moved to cable.

This season is off the hook. I knew I was in for a ride when dude in the whore house got shot by Ellen Mae while dressed up in the bear costume. Definite step up from last season, which wasn't that bad.

The last three episodes have had so many "oh shit" moments, from Arlo kickin' it, to Drew Thompson, to the circling of the wagons... and more Erica Tazel which is always a good thing.

I wonder if they can keep it going, because last night was good as one hour dramas get.

Yeah, this has got to be top 3 best dialogue on television. It's based on an Elmore Leonard work and they've really stayed with his voice and the intricate way he draws characters. Everyone, even the most minor players like Constable Bob, has their own memorable voice.

Art's monologue about Drew Thompson being a bad ass, and Arlo's last words to his son: "Kiss my ass." ...classic...

If im not mistaking the black lady Marshall writes alot of the shows with Elmore Lenard who lives in Miami.

I like when Dude told Boyd There you go using 40words when you could just use four.

I forgot what Boyd said, but then he said I tried to keep it at four, the contraction counts as one.

I am so broad of the amount of Black women writing now (you know a sister created Scandel)...but they aint getting ENOUGH recognition at all...

I am a big fan of his work and started reading him cause of Tarantino...

I got a ton of his book now...

I mentioned this earlier in the thread...They already released a book based on Raylan and a few of the cases were already used this season!

We got to start a BGOL book club...:D
