Wiggins: "I felt like this is the better spot for me. I've grown a lot more here than I would have there."
ONe thing I respect about you is your love of the game.. I mean fan shit is cool and its fun kicking it back and forth with the fans , but nothing triumphs over a person love for the game.. And from a fan of the sport you understood exactly what I meant when I said that the Wiggins Love trade makes sense for both players and for both teams.. Even though folks here took it for me saying Love is the superior player...
In reality I said exactly what you posted that in Minnesota Wiggins has a better opportunity to develop into the player he should be, while Cleveland is a better situation for a player like Love..

What else was he supposed to say? I assure you he doesn't believe that. Nor should he. Learning under a champion and best player in the league who also happens to be the games best facilitator is a far better situation than the one he is currently in.

Yea we know that, but we also know ain't no fucking way Lebron could've played with...
That's was just too much inexperience...

Waiters
Bennett
Thompson
Kyrie
Wiggins

Along with a rookie coach in Blatt...
The trade to make was kyrie and his max deal. Kyrie makes no one better and continues to show he adds no value to the win column. They went 1-9 when Bron rested. That's unacceptable. And largely due to the guy who has the ball in his hand all the fucking time. Waste of a max deal.

Kyrie is that man, he is a proven scorer who can now play good defense, they have LeBron playing point forward, and the two make a dynamic one two punch! From here, the Cavs are a go, all that other shit is just a bunch of guys who wish they didn't make the moves to get to where they are right now..

Team looks good. They can now survive the off offensive nights because they have people hustling on defense. Before, going cold on the offensive end just made things worse on the defensive end.

I still think mentally that Love isn't where he should be on the offensive end. Constantly missing easy shots he used to hit playing for the wolves. He's throwing up the jump hooks and inside shots like he is tight. That's some mental shit right there. Maybe has the Cavs get more positive press, the mental block fades.

That's basically the last thing this team is waiting on. Kyrie seems to have got his shit together.

The one thing I've noticed with a lot of posts in this thread, is a lot of people like to through around cliches and outdated analysis, especially as it applies to Kyrie and Love. While the long term may be negatively impacted by the trade, Kevin Loves skill set and style of play gives them the best chance to win NOW! Wiggins may well be a stud for years to come, but LeBron doesn't have the time to wait for his maturity to grow, since he is on the down side of his prime. Anyone who keeps throwing up years old analysis about Kyrie as a player is either blind or doesn't know shit about basketball, because the Kyrie we are currently seeing isn't the same dude from those bum teams over the years. As with any new team, it takes time to gel, but it seems they are starting to 'get it', and that trade for JR and crew may have put them over the top.

I don't even think its really a off night as much as its them taking what the defense is giving them. It was obvious that last night was a chill game, where the team basically only played one quarter snd still won by 16, T-Mo and Irving barely played the 2nd half.

The team reverts back to shit the moment the Lebron takes a day off. Thats not "a go". Thats business as usual like during his last stint in town. Yes the names are bigger and Kyrie can score alot of empty points, but his added value is minimal if he cant carry the team when Lebron needs him to. You're a 5th place team in the east. Would be a fringe playoff team in the west. Lets not start popping bottles just yet.

Bron will take another break sometime after all-star. Lets re-assess then.

Same thing happened to the Heat the years they won it all.

Some of you guys, I swear, empty points, padding stats, you guys have so many excuses for them winning, makes you wonder why your team don't do the same thing to avoid losing so much..

Bruh the only reason they are winning is because of a Lebrons return from injury that's it nothing more nothing less.

And you have some audacity? Just last year the heat was your team now it's "you wonder why your team don't do the same thing to avoid losing so much?"

Wow lmaooooo

Remember last year at this time when I was begging the Heat front office for them to get a couple pieces that was missing from the lineup to help the club... Remember how I was saying even a player like JJ Hickson would help out in the long run, but instead they went after players like Olden and never got that other guard, this was our undoing in the finals.
Its good at least seeing the Cavs making wise moves instead of sitting on their asses hoping the ship just right itself...

The one that gets me the most is Kyrie lack of defense. Dude probably been they're most steady man to man defender this year.

Beatdown is right. How you gone ride for the Heat and now act as if you don't know them.

Now you say Cleveland front office is making the correct moves? In the last 7 years the heat have been to 5 NBA titles and won 3. How many has cleveland been to or won? Don't Disrespect our front office like that again with that Bulshit cleveland office

Your looking at it from a fans point of view so no wonder why you are confused..

For the record, I repeat, I have rooted for only two teams in 12 years, while some of you guys are dick hopping from club to club, depending on who LeBron is playing against, some of you guys are still rocking T-wolf panties with76ers bras.

Question for the board: so I can understand the bgol way of thinking... so, if a person is a fan of one team, they can't give an honest opinion of another team?

don't you mention empty points padding stats or lucky anything as far as any other players then. that's removed from your arguing points from now on.

Come on. we can go back in this very thread and see the complaints about the defense and nobody saying well Kyrie is the bright spot. In this same very thread from the "cavs" fans :lol:

arent you a fan too? a bandwagon fan i may add but a fan nevertheless

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:
I'm a fan of the game first, I have no problems admitting that the team that I root for is flawed, I did it last year with the Heat and this year early with the Cavs.. Some fans live in denial and would lie sweeping shit under the rug and get offended if someone is to give unbiased assessment of their team that they don't like.
All you have to do is go the 49ers thread and you would see how I can be unbiased towards my team, and I am a way bigger 9ers fan than any NBA team..

Exactly

They making it seem kyrie is part of the reason why the cavs on a 10 game win streak when in fact it's because of Lebrons return from injury and the defensive help of shump and Smith...

Let Bron take 5 games off and these niggas going 0-5

The only time I would argue garbage stats is in a player like Westbrook getting assist while playing with Durant, skhit I could get on OKC and pass the ball to Durant all day and have him shoot and give me assist... When players play on teams that dribble penetrate the assist will go down, due to them not getting rewarded for setting up the dribble penetration..
As far Irving padding stats as you claim, the boy barely shot vs the weak Minnesota club but played on beast mode when they needed him with LeBron out, ass opposed to Westbrook can't beat the freaking Knicks with out Durant..:smh:

Remember yall was predicting Westbrook to be averaging 50 with out Durant holding him back, well how did that work out for yall..

They beat the Blazers with out LeBron the same team that played the Hawks well last night..

RR on here collecting bodies

Heat beat the blazers without Bron too remember that Bosh game winner in Portland?

So that's besides the point

They should have considered that before predicting they were going to beat the Cavs with LeBron.. Just to go show you, you better watch who you co-sign with these days..
