Stefanski blamed Ken Dorsey for the offensive failure,a few years ago.

Stefanski blamed Baker for not running his offense correctly.

Have your two lackeys(Mary Kay and Tony Grossi) defend you everyday.

Try your hardest to not put Shedeur in the best position to get better.

We talking about Simms and Aikman and the definition of serviceable. THere's a huge gap between top 5 and serviceable. I already said Aikman was a good QB with weapons all over the place. Simms was a good QB as well. You do know both things can be true and both are in the s as well. When we start comparing Trent Dilfer to Aikman, i have to really question your football acumen. Dilfer was the personification of the phrase "game manager". That Ravens Defense was so good, they didn't have to score a bunch of points. Brad Johnson was a better QB than Dilfer. :hmm:
I didn't bring his name up first.. someone else said dilfer would be in the hall of fame if he won 3 titles in 5 yrs .. that wasn't me that was someone else.. all I said after was dilfer was a serviceable QB also . Did you check that person that originally said it? Nope... But somehow ull try to push the narrative that I brought up dilfer... Like in various debates other people will say shit and ya will push a bs narrative I said it, just like someone try to mix various topics and make it seem like I said it all in one

Originally people try to question why eli should go to the hall of fame and I always point out his numbers and the fact aikman is in the hall with numbers that are way less than Eli and many other QBs... Eli has 2 Superbowl mvps and has 2 rings ... 57,000 yds 300+ TDS... Aikman has 1 Superbowl MVP 3 rings 32,000 yds 165 TDS.. if aikman is in so should Eli.. people than try to hype up aikman than I show how his numbers were serviceable and people try to go against numbers and truth.. just let Eli in and that's it

So let's replay this conversation. I brought up Trent Dilfer in saying that if the 2000 Ravens won three SBs, he would be in the HOF. This is one of those things that they look at when voting on the HOF. To answer your question, No I'm not going to "check myself" for something I originally said :hmm: :rolleyes2:

he won three super bowls. if the 2000 ravens won three sbs in 4 years, trent dilfer would be in as well..

Yep .. his stats look like Trent dilfer… they call these serviceable qbs… aikman face should be the definition

Here is where you said that his stats look like Trent Dilfer (they don't Aikman has better stats than Trent Dilfer and I posted them) and there is no world where I would take Trent Dilfer over Troy Aikman. Troy Aikman is not a "serviceable" qb. He's a good (not all time great) QB. Theres a difference between good and serviceable.

My point with Eli is that Eli was an "average" (.500 record proves this) QB when removing those SB runs. If I put Troy Aikman on about half the teams in the 90s, he's still a good QB. I'm not so sure I can say the same about Eli. I would even say that Eli is better than a serviceable QBs. This whole thing started with you saying that Troy Aikman was serviceable and I just don't agree with this and the numbers show it to be true. There are different levels here. here's my list from what I see

Troy Aikman
Eli Manning

Trent Dilfer - For the record, Aikman, Manning, and Namath win the SB with that ravens team.

Trent dilfer threw 20+ TDS two times in the 90s aikman couldn't even do that.. Eli didn't have emmit, Irvin, Harper, the moose, novacek, the line, Jimmy Johnson most of his career, and individuals like deion wasn't on his team... Aikman threw double digit ints 9 yrs with these weapons, imagine if he was surrounded with the less skilled offensive players on the giants... He threw 18 int twice with less throwing opportunities imagine if you allowed him to throw more he might be 30 ints or better... Aikman missed the playoffs half his career.. so 6 playoffs 6 early vacations with a better team.. so when surrounded by greatness you tend to look better... Shout-out to emmit smith, Jimmy Johnson and the rest of the crew

It's hard calling any NFL QB "slow". You have to have some form of intelligence to play the position, but he may no longer be a starter in this league. Similar to Jameis..
When you play it bad though more years then good…you gotta question something. And watching Geno it doesn’t look like a physical issue. He can make the throws….tough because the position is incredibly hard to play.

No this started at 4pm when another poster said cam should get in the hall of fame b4 Eli and question why he getting in and said they only voting him in because he best Brady twice... I than replied to that poster that he had 57,000 yds and ova 300+ TDS . Than it spiralled into something else.. see the serviceable part came later.. like I said push a narrative without talking facts.

  • Newton publicly apologized, calling it “an innocent mistake, but a hurtful one.”
  • Fans overwhelmingly rejected the apology, demanding Newton resign or be fired.

An ESPN reporter is under heavy fire from Carolina Panthers fans after a pretty brutal mistake that he made while asking questions to wide receiver Xavier Legette.

In a recent locker room interview, ESPN’s David Newton spoke to Legette about the team’s upcoming game against the Dallas Cowboys and his family’s Cowboys fandom growing up. But Newton made a mistake by joking that his father wouldn’t be rooting for the Cowboys this weekend. Legette’s father passed away several years ago.

“I’m thinkin’ he won’t be this week,” Newton remarked.

“For sure, for sure, ain’t a Cowboy fan… no more,” Legette said.

A backlash ensued over Newton’s mistake as Panthers fans got after him for make that remark. Newton was clearly made aware of his mistake and took to X later that day to apologize.

“I have been in touch with the Panthers and have also reached out to Xavier Legette to apologize for my question Thursday regarding his late father’s Cowboys fandom. There is no excuse for my forgetting a hard moment in X’s life. I have nothing but respect for Xavier. It was an innocent mistake on my part, but a hurtful one, and I hope he will accept my apology.

Apology Not Accepted?

While the apology appeared to be heartfelt, fans aren’t letting Newton get away with it. His post received over 500 comments on X, nearly all of which were criticizing him and calling for him to resign or be fired.

“If you remembered his dad was a Cowboys fan you remembered that his dad had passed. Your aren’t fooling anyone with your lame attempt to backtrack because you got called out,” one user replied.

“You didn’t forget his dad died. You wrote a story about it. There is 0% chance you are telling the truth here. Gross. You made a comment that his dead dad probably wouldn’t be a Dallas fan this week. Just an unnecessary thing to say. Now lying makes your true colors indisputable,” wrote another.

“Actions speak louder than words. And the proper response would be to resign,” a third suggested.

“Go ahead and resign. A mistake is a mistake, but when you have a track record for making bad ones, it’s a pattern. The best thing to do is apologize to him in person and then resign. Writing words on the internet is lazy.”

The moral of the story: You don’t need to try and make a joke out of every question.

I don’t know dude and he gets paid to know this stuff but I never heard he lost both of his parents until yall said something. But shit still gotta pay the piper. You make a mistake you gotta pay for it, rest of us do anyway.

We will see. Miami needs to clean house just like the Browns. There’s a internal cancer and they need to gut it out.
I'm not talking about miami, I'm talking about AJ.

Also, being emotional and throwing a tantrum isn't gonna make things better until that player get his mind right and keep his head in the game being focus and playing like he cares or working hard to change the situation.

Let me switch the subject a little bit with a different sport because the sixers have integral cancer that needs to be put out as well but guess what embiid is still on the team which he could've demanded a trade if he said that person is still there who leaked about him being late.

That's the thing, he didn't "forget". He wrote a whole ass story about him overcoming the deaths of his parents back in 2024. You remembered that his pops was a Cowboy fan, but forgot he passed away?! FOH!

I don’t know man I think it’s possible. You write a million articles about players…..it is interesting he remembers he was a Cowboy fan though. But like I said above he gets paid to know this stuff forgetting or not isn’t acceptable. Gotta take your lumps whether he said it intentional or not.
