The women's game here is far further along in development in the States than most other countries. The women's national team is comprised of mostly college athletes that go on to become pros, where the rest of the women in the world are ringers with part time jobs and that.
Was a busy Father's Day so didn't get to sit down and watch as much as I liked, but saw the goals and scores.
Mexico game looked a treat. Congrats to the CONCACAF boys for getting a valuable 3 against the European CAC's.
Didn't see the Serbia Costa Rica match but feel for Navas. To go from Madrid to the national team must be a serious downgrade in terms of quality.
And Brazil... well. I thought the samba boys we're gonna dance on Switzerland a bit more. Have to catch the replay later.
