But what if during the 5 years that T'Challa and Shuri were gone in Thanos' snap, Wakanda functioned just fine. Flourished economically and repelled all threats. When T'Challa was blipped back after during Endgame he could feel that perhaps he isn't as integral to the country's survival as he thinks. Thus retirement and domesticity and living abroad.

I know alot of people are pushing Shuri to be the new Black Panther and the reality is that most of the Black Panther we see on screen is CGI but i not feeling Letitia Wright and i think of Shuri as a Q if i was to have a new email, Black Panther, it should be Lupita Nyongo - her fight scenes and attitude are perfect for the role and she has a right to fight to be Panther being a royal herself.

They are not going to skip ahead decades. BP movies are part of the current ongoing mcu. They should recast, IMO. The character of T'challa should get more than one movie, IMO.

Boseman's legacy...as sad as this shit is it's almost mirroring the story in real life with the actors and their real world life, I would love to see them get it right.

I disagree, I think its an impulsive and short sighted move.

No matter who you cast in the role you're rebooting the franchise since Chadwick isn't present so it would make more sense IMO to cast someone else as T'Challa.

Superman didn't end with Christopher Reeve, The Joker didn't die with Heath Ledger.....so why allow T'Challa to not continue due to Chadwick's unfortunate death?
