I guess in a way, you're right. Another woman could be better at doing/providing what I do for him...A wise man (Shane RIP) once had a discussion with me about how love is a choice; you choose to love that person, put up with their bullshit, etc. I guess it's also about not just being the first, but choosing to stay in that position (aka loving that person) through and through...
