I'm a federal employee firmly caught in the middle (I work for DHS) of this. To my fellow furloughed Feds, if you already haven't, give a call to your debtors (mortgage companies, cable company, cell phone provider, etc...) and tell them that you're furloughed. They have all worked me with and my wife to alleviate the financial pressure. They've all been pretty understanding and very cooperative.

Just an FYI...


Oh and btw, there is no crisis on the Souther Border. I've walked part of it several times with armed CBP folks and they have all relayed their need for more technology based solutions + more officers.

Kushner owns property that receives section 8. Once the funding runs out for that I bet this comes to an end sooner rather than later.

Actually they were in the process of adding more jobs (more IT jobs in particular) prior to the shutdown.

Basically. Don't put too much faith in the American public. They will let you down every fucking time. 40 percent of this country is dug the fuck in with Trump on this Russia issue. It would take Russian troops falling out the sky like Red Dawn for them to turn on Trump. How have they been affected outside of a republican president? People are usually selfish and need to see how it affects them. Republicans only care about the purity of the office when it's a democrat in the seat. :smh:
