yea i had a stroke a few years ago and i got control of my right side now but i fumble my words from time to time.a stroke isnt nothing to play with.most people dont recover like i did and bg but by the grace of god i did so good job on the set y dude it was funny.

Yeah its a blessing to even be stumbling on words. I done seen a stroke fuck up peoples face, body...among other things man.
My late grandma (passed in early-2008) had a stroke while babysitting us as kids in the 90s. She also had a stroke while at my graduation at some point (late-2003). Realized it in the car while driving home with her afterward and she didn't know where she was, or where we were coming from and questioning why the family wasn't in attendance at the event (she sat with them for hours). My friend who had the stroke in 2016 has an existing brain injury from carbon dioxide poisoning, and English was already his 2nd language. He was hospitalized for 2 months and in speech therapy afterward relearning how to speak. Struggling with "Hi" and "How are you?" and building from there. Really devastating.

Great to hear about your recovery over time, Diego. Thanks for the kind words re: grandma. She had a good life and made it to 81 (lost her husband just under a year and a half prior at 83). Battled heart condition/ailment(s) & strokes for the better part of 25 - 30 years. Lost her dad and younger brother each to massive heart attacks. Her dad was 50, and younger bro' was 58. She always felt some type of guilt about her younger brother as he was someone who took good care of himself & exercised/ate well with limited vices. Whereas she ate poorly, got limited sleep, had more vices & more stress factors in her life. She'd always tell him to live a little & not be so straight-laced. Whereas he'd tell her to eat and sleep better ... actually take better care of herself. In the end she was like "WTF - I outlived him by 23 years?!" in her final stretch ...

omg glad you recovered.im just blessed it didnt do me like that and the bad thing is i woke up monday morning to the stroke and didnt go to the hospital till tuesday because i was scared.like i said by the grace of god i recovered minus the few hiccups here and there.when i read books it's hard to focus and my mind will be on 5 different things while i reading its weird.
