It's a trailer. Let me repeat, it's a trailer. The object of a trailer is to build hype around a movie. Trailers are edited to incite potential audience members to come out and see the film. The reality is that Yella and Ren will not move ticket sales, so having them prominently featured in the trailer is a non-issue. F. Gary Gray directed the film and I'm sure they are in it, but to trip because they you don't see them in the trailer is goofy.

Yeah that's a diss to the fans and historic revision bullshit. The movie trailer is telling you who the films front and center characters the movie will be about. If it doesn't include Ren in the trailer it's like saying he wasn't that important to the group which we all know is bullshit.
I Asked some young 17-18 year olds who was in the NWA when the full trailer finally released and they said Ice Cube Ice-T and Dr.Dre I broke out laughing and shook my head. The other members don't get the recognition they should.
