I liked The Suicide Squad. The first team's failure/distraction was intended as comedy. I'm unsure if anything in Suicide Squad was intended to be comedy. It unintentionally funny by how bad it was.
Back to The Matrix 4. I'll never understand serious movies going the self aware route. Pointing out the hypocrisy of Hollywood while making a Hollywood movie is the very definition of hypocrisy. Pointing out that the studio is "forcing" you to make a 4th movie doesn't make it smart. It makes you weak for caving. The other Wachowski said naw I'm done. Wish both took that stance. Might have gotten something new & interesting.

I do like the new agent smith, I like his calm demeanor he's not as good as the OG who was more realistic but he's pretty good.
Matrix 4 is literally intersectionality and new America compared to the original, the original was dark and kinda grimy this is really lame and PC-friendly.
This is literally integration in our faces on the movie screen it was pretty bad.
Jada was wack, Keanu honestly maybe the dude is too old to play neo but his fighting scenes are awful.

new morph wasn't too good either, all the new characters just don't fit in with the concept, too PC-friendly.

Started off cool. By the point Jada came in w/ all her long ass preachy scenes, I started to check out.

Because he was still viewed and hailed as the savior. He had a victory under his belt against the Matrix and had actually inspired machines to rebel. They also knew his death was staged for a reason and wanted him back to sabotage that motive.
Movie stunk. Almost felt campy with all the cheese flashbacks and callbacks. Yahya was pretty much wasted as Morpheus. Film was largely a mess.

Basically.
This movie was very "Me Too" and female equality heavy.
And there is a point when watching this movie that I realized a significant portion of the main cast are also gay (Doogie Howser, the new Agendt Smith, a few people rolling with Bugs, etc.) which isn't surprising since the director ks transgender.
The only positive thing about this movie is the fact that it was released on HBOMax which I already had so I didn't pay anything to see it.
But I have a feeling that when I'm on my death bed long from now one of my biggest regrets at that moment will be the time I lost watching this shit.
The Matrix Resurrections is officially Blade 3 status for me moving forward, neither one actually exists and their existence is just some wild internet rumor.

It is largely based on my work, Warner Bros Pictures is updating their movies to this new standard. Because you don't know about it, the movie sucks without this background information.
Unfortunately, I stopped trying to advance this project due to the shady tactics that are being used such as invasion of privacy, taking my profit motive away. There is rampant racist corruption going on in the government cosigning this bullshit, which further depresses my interest. I had many of groundbreaking ideas that I want to work on, but I would be tied up in court fighting some criminal trying to prove the impossible.
It feels like I am living in a socialist country due to the lack of a profit motive, I am better off just doing nothing than having to deal with the drama.
Finally, the racial cannibalist that are sic on you like a pack of dogs whose prior hustle was promoting 'free' trade and contract manufactured products costing us jobs. I rather be cornered by white supremacist like Ahmad Arbery than deal with these desperate fools, they are mainly concentrated in Chicago, some in Atlanta, and Los Angeles.

All DC movies are terrible or not good; really the only ones was the Dark Knight trilogy; outside of that, shit is mad underwhelming...

They spend the first half of the movie going over the first Matrix movie. The second half plotting Trinity’s escape only to be rewarded by mediocre action sequences at best. They didn’t go as heavy with the philosophy on this one tho but those moments did give a nostalgic feel. I couldn’t buy Dookie Hauser as a villain and this new guy agent Smith as a alliance.
Hollywood is in shambles right now they need all the help they can get.

I tried to leave off the obvious films. DC's overall catalog is far superior to Marvel......and I really like Marvel.
Marvel's worst films are so bad they make the worst DC films look like master pieces.
Both franchises have dropped the ball multiple times. 2022 will be DC's year while Marvel will be revamping some things after the Luke warm reception of most of the phase 4 releases.

From which crack pipe do you smoketh??? DC movies outside of The Dark Knight have sucked. Aquaman was OK so was Wonder Woman but compared to Ironman or The Avengers, or Blade for that matter DC is lacking. V For Vendetta was a masterpiece. But it was a thinker more than straight up action. I do think DC has a deep catalog of content, great potential block busters. Sgt. Rock for example could be a huge franchise with any random military direction you want to go. The watchmen was awesome. DC needs to focus.

I'll say this. All six of those are known properties. However the Marvel films obliterated each of the DC films in the box office.
Let's not play a subjective game. Play the objective game. Compare money making skills. Who is bringing in the audience & entertaining fools in the theaters.
I highly doubt Disney could care less if you like Watchmen more than the Avengers. And I bet you'd have Watchmen 2 if Watchmen didn't bomb so hard.
