Chitlin Circuit, The Listening, The Minstrel Show are solid group efforts from the clique.
Sleepers was a welcome surprise from Big Pooh and showed he can definitely hold his own on a solo project ... as his main man Phonte's often a beast on their projects and is straight killin' material. Def' can't be overlooking Big Pooh, for real.
The Foreign Exchange's 'Connected' from 2004 is pure bliss. Incredible project combining forces with Phonte and Nicolay (formerly of the Netherlands). Excellent content ... and it's still hard to wrap one's mind around the fact that they 'connected' online, collabo'd WITHOUT EVER meeting first, and did that shit through email/IM/Okayplayer/message board-type friendship and bond ... and knowing that together with one cat's lyrics, and the other's beats ... they could put together something special. Serious grown folk music right there, and like pretty much all of LB's catalogue on the whole ... BGOL classic material.

Yup, when they were still all together they said in interviews that Phonte was the brains behind the group and the one that came up with the song concepts and what direction to take the group in. That being said I'm looking forward to both Phonte's projects to come(Foreign Exchange 2, album with Zo!) and Pooh's projects(mixtape, album and collabo with Nottz).
