Lebron James.................

Nah. Just watched the play 10 times Durants momentum was already going the opposite way. No way he would have been able to jump back and cut off that lane, even if he could have the only other option was to shoot the fucking ball.

Stop giving dude excuses. He made the worst of the available decisions.... In fact Wade wasnt even available.

These cats are creating an alternate reality.

Brownturd even tried to say that Durant doubled him and forced him to pick up his dribble when Durant only flashed and was going in the other direction and Lebron NEVER picked up his dribble and threw a one-handed pass cross-court into traffic.

Durant's assignment at that point was to shadow Jame to prevent him from driving, and as soon as James stops, don't try to contest the shot, Kobe was there for that, but instead to jump to the closest player from the east..
Even if James were able to get the ball to Melo, Durant and his long ass arms would have been there to disrupt the shot...
I chalk this up to very good defense, still think the offense had poor spacing, but it is much easier to see this sitting home watching pictures, as opposed to being on the court and seeing it happen live.

Your first mistake was even entertaining Brown Turd. His entire existence on this board is to serve as devils advocate for the most unforgivable of offenses and offenders. His posts have the worth and significance of, well, a brown turd.

RoadRage is out of his fucking mind. Instead of accepting the obvious and moving forward with life, he pretends to be Dr. Jack Ramsey will attempting to justify the most unacceptable play in the sport of basketball...the across court pass through traffic. That ball would have had to dematerialize and go through 7 players in order to make it into the hands of its intended target. Simply amazing. And whats more hilarious, is through all of his dissecting and pseudo analysis, he has failed to even acknowledge that IF Lebron was going to pass, all he had to do was wait half a second more for Durant to drop and pass the ball to a wide open Melo to his immediate left.

Come on man, even Tobe and Marshmelo were clowning that nigga after the buzzer. Bron knew he choked again when he was talking to Sager too. You could see the disappointment he had in himself. :smh:

The problem is nobody is saying LeBron is the greatest, on the contrary they are say he is very good far from mediocre.. (You don't give a mediocre player that much attention by the defense..)

No... I am a Kobe fan... Lebron is the Greatest RIGHT NOW... he proved that last night... but then he proved that he REFUSES to be a champion... like I said he is the Peyton Manning of the NFL...

Now... the point I am making is that you guys accept that he is REFUSES to be a champion ..despite logic demanding James should be treated as more of an enigma than emperor y'all make excuses for him and his mediocrity and crown him king ..so bottom line is yall messing up the game...

Cause as He said.... at the end of the day "I'm still Lebron James" and basically people still worship him... you "fans" see the emperor has no clothes and say nothing... and thus you messing the game up

This is how I sum up Lebron:

James, like everybody else has had his shares for failures and success, in my book yesterdays game should not go down as a big failure and not on him, just like if Williams were to hit that shot the west losing should not have been on Kobe for missing the free-throw... Instead I would tip my hat to Durant, Kobe and even Westbrook for staying in position and playing smart cohesive defense and thats very hard for people who dont play together.
BTW if James were to try to challenge Kobe with Durant and Westbrook backing him up, playing for the Heat, I would flip out and curse my TV set.
This year I want James and Wade to play like a unit, no superhero, meaning if you have two or three guys your way that means somebody has to be open,

Even Kobe and the rest of the west told Lebron to take the Damn shot! Even Kobe took the last shot for the West on the free throw line. I belief he miss the free-throw on purpose to make the game more interesting. LB is a great player but shoot the damn shot at the end of game. Why would you throw the ball across court like that? My years off ballin everybody on my team wanted to shoot the game winning shot, even the got damn center. Even Blake shot a 3 I remember Ducan shooting a 3 in the All-star game!

Lebron is 6'8" right? He was hitting incredible threes all game right? Ur telling me Westbrook woulda stopped him or Durant who was moving away? C'mon now.

Yeah man... I think even Kobe was frustrated by Lebron playing himself short like that.

Like I told Road Rage yesterday and Stephen A Smith just told Bayless....Kobe was trying to help this dude, he respect Lebron's talent and knows his career is coming to an end soon so he is trying to pass the torch to Lebron. He like dude just take the fucking shot. I said it yesterday and I'll say it again, if that was Jordan, Bird, Kobe, D.Wade, Melo, Durant that isn't going to be a turn over. That would've been a missed or made field goal......

You got to remember you had Kobe back by Durant and Westbrook was the third line of defense... James was way too deep to think about tucking his head down and charging blindly towards the hoop and too deep to shoot the three... Usually when you see people knock down game winners, they get released by picks or even double picks or at the very least are coming up court with their momentum going towards the basket... I've seldom seen a person shoot a shot that far moving to the side of the basket.
And spare me the Kobe gets it done routine because according to the stats James shoots at a much higher % of buzzer beaters in the playoff, in comparison to Kobe... Yet you would never believe that by listening to the media..:smh:

Sometimes you win them and sometimes you don't its all part of the game.

James dont need to be trying to follow Kobe, because Kobe has two trees camped under the basket to save the day if he fucks up... While James has Wade... I could careless what he does in the All-Star game, but in the playoffs, if he is doubled I wan't him to pass to the open man. Sure it wont always work, but I bet it would be successful more than 28% and that I can live with..

Lmao as if u arm chair couch clowns would have done better... You get good at nba2k now all of a sudden yall niggas acting like u should have been on the court instead.. Skip bayless syndrome ass niggas

Niggas dont want to hear that shit... They gonna call pshop

The first sentence in your statement is reason enough to know that LeBron had the right idea in mind.

 @ missed the FT on purpose. You do know that missing the FT gave the East a chance to WIN instead of tie right? Good thing Blake Griffin stepped up to save the day for the West at the end.

Shooting a near 35 foot fadeaway 3 with 4 seconds left would've been a low basketball IQ play (which most in this thread have shown to possess)

Coach Thibodeau drew up a good play to get D Williams an open look and he wasn't able to knock it down. Once D Williams got the O Reb, what did he do? Kicked it back out to LeBron to win it.

Unfortunately for the East, LeBron tried to throw a skip pass to Wade in the corner instead of hitting Carmelo at the top of the key for the open 3.

Who said anything about a gotdamn 35 foot fadeway? Kill that strawman talk. 4 seconds is more than enough time to get a damn layup off. It is certainly enough time to drive and pull up for a mid range jumper when you have the entire right side of the court to work with.

Melo wasn't open with Durant making the switch and cp3 in the area...

The best option was for him to go hard right and drive to the basket or pull up for a mid-range shot.

That was the best option whether he missed it or not.

He is letting all this shit get to his head.

but its high basketball IQ for him to make that play? He just hit some pretty tough 3's (one on a botched play, the other in Kobes face), but yet, he turns this one down?

ESPECIALLY for Lebron.

Not to mention, Kobe knew DAMN well he couldn't hold Lebron. Especially not a Lebron trying to drive.

exactly

The argument wasnt for him to take a bad shot for the sake of taking the last shot.

The argument was he had the hot hand, the entire right side of the court, and kobe bryant on his WAY out of position so close that far away from the basket. Lebron can blow past Kobe easily.

That is what Kobe was barking at him. Lebron should have WANTED to not only take that shit but do it while he had Kobe on him. He should be living for that moment.... whether it is the finals or a game of pickup ball.

It is like he has a mental block now because of all the media talk about him being a choke artist but he really has had his clutch moments. But the shit is in his head now.

That shit just isn't in his DNA.

Lebron physically is >>>>> he is mentally. Through three and a half quarters, Lebron can beast up with the best of him. Once again, it's not that he CAN'T perform at the end of games, but it is abundantly clear that not only does he not relish end game situations - as a basketball megastar, you are expected to CRAVE end game situations - but he is prone to shying away from them.

That is his biggest flaw. He's not the only megastar with a flaw, but it's one flaw that will be held against him more than most others - especially coming right on the heels of the Jordan era.

There was no way Lebron could have beet Kobe by driving right on that play. Kobe was using the "out of bounds" line as another defender. The problem really is that the spacing was poor. It was a botched play with a bunch of players who are used to being in the position of taking the last shot. So, I can see why there was poor spacing. If he did this play in a game that counts then it would be easy to get on hi, but an exhibition game. You have to be kidding me especially when it is easier to play defense with player who are not familiar with one another.

It couldn't happen. he was too close to the baseline, and it wasn't enough time considering it was a botched play and these players aren't used to playing with one another so the spacing was poor.

How about using his size and set up in the high post? He could have went for a turn around jumper, faced up and tried to take him off the dribble or simply backed him down. When they collapsed he could have kicked the ball out.

Imagine if dudes held Durant, Rose, Dwight, Cp3, Melo, to this standard they hold LeBron to? The league would be better and a lot less gayer. When LeBron and the Heat win it you will be left with a ringless generation of ballers whove been told they dont need to win titles, only LeBron. Ninjas give so many a pass to microanalyze the King, then turn around tell you he aint the star of the show. Lol.

Go look at the replay from various angles so that you can see how much space he had. He was NOT close to the baseline. And there is no argument about having enough time. He had 4 seconds. That is an eternity from just outside of the 3 point line.

Sometimes you win them and sometimes you don't its all part of the game.

Michael Jordan said:
I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

You cant post someone five feet from the three point line and expect a high% shot. As far as trying to run by Kobe and Durant, well your head and sholder, and by doing so, it would neglect any possible passing, and as soon as LeBron makes the move, Westbrook would have stepped up an lend assistance....
Look at this picture again, thats texbook defense... Kobe is giving James the right (away from James players) while Durant is sealing the edge, forcing more to the right... Any ball player knows you can not put a a decant shot that far away so shooting on the move to your right is not an option... Also look at Westbrook, and how he is ready to help out If LeBron were to try to drive right..

To be honest if this were a real game, the coach would have called time out as soon as soon as he saw the poor spacing.. that is if they had any left.(No Fab 5)
