Interesting thought on Ish's self Interest. I kind think Ish will always side with big business or money in general. I can't speak for NY and I understand what Ish Ish is saying, but the overall mindset does hurt the chance for potential change.

Yep, I thought Ish gave me more those vibes than Ice. I could see Ice not voting period or voting based on his mom. I can see Ish voting for his interest.

I was kind of leaning towards Flip at one point. Compared to the rest of the cast he seems to have more traditional views and openly expresses it. At the same time, he's open minded enough to think the best of someone. Like ICE, he may not have done it due to his mom.

This is probably the only time I can think of that I agree with Ish. Momdani is blowing smoke, all of his policies he’s running on are playing to what people want to hear but he won’t accomplish any of it

he isn't blowing smoke - a rent freeze is something a mayor in nyc always could do - because he controls the majority of seats on the rent control board
and
in his primary Zohran got higher turnout and more votes than Dem assemblymen and congressional reps in their own districts
if he performs in similar fashion on Tuesday and wins, he will have NY Dems by the balls for a bit because next year is an electiion year for Hochul and a bunch of other dems in NY
and
Hochul NEEDS his NYC ground game - think 08 Obama

Look he isn't going to get everything but he has some leverage to get somethings and negotiate others
-eg his free bus plan is genius cause he is openning the door for the greedy fucks at the MTA to get more revenue from a 2% tax on the wealthy than they would get in riders' fares

That free bus plan is what got us the congestion pricing. Mta is gonna find a way to get us as always. The people will turn on him like they do every other official when they realize he isn’t doing shit for them
