I just closed outside ATL...$172K (pics inside)

I am about to sell off my spot in BK hopefully by next summer...the homes in the A are ridiculous...just had a friend who moved to Dallas said the prices there are ridiculously low too...VA homes are more expensive than I thought...no deals like this (at least I haven't seen any)...Dallas is too far down south for my tastes...and the A is on the verge of a water crisis and I don't know if anything is being done about that...doesn't seem like there is a good place for me to move... :( ...I may have to give NC another look or just stay here...

Your a Fool to sell in brooklyn!!!!!............:smh::smh::smh::smh:

I have been going thru the same thing. Where would I relocate my states spot to? Basically everywhere I look into mainland US comes up bleak. I would say that Houston seems more appealing than Dallas but I just can't see living in Texas. I really don't like Atlanta plus its landlocked. I have checked out N.C. all over but its too country and/or corporately homoginized for me. I just couldn't live there. No way. Definitely looked into South Florida and the climate is definitely right for me but it seems I really should have moved there 10 years ago. I also strongly suspect the majority of the state will be underwater pretty soon. So I decided that if I choose to keep a states crib it will just be in St. Thomas. 20 minute plane ride from home, still in the Caribbean but I can get my art supplies fed exed in 2 days time with no duties and can call to the mainland for free. I can get a super nice 2 bedroom condo with a pool(actually a few) and a wharf and views of Tortola and Jost van Dyke on a hill right above the sea for $165 k. Works for me.

Seems like we have something else in common besides being men...

the prices are real nice. I am in Toronto Canada for me to get a house in that price range would have to be outside the city like 30 minutes to one hour out. For example I have a house in a place called Markham, Ontario my townhouse is 245.000 a town house @!#$$!@# I need to move to the states man.
255.000 for a detach. Is the area a good are?, How are the schools around that area? I am in the technology field how far is let say a city.

Anybody wanna get in on how long it'll be before I ban this cat.

I can't believe, how every bloody time, ya'll fall for it.

The last fucking thing in the whole damn world to do . . . . is post a picture of your house, on BGOL.

:hmm:

WHOA!! First you said:

If I wasn't stuck here I wouldn't be here at all and once I get the fuck out I am never coming back. Worst country in the world and if you represent the typical Amerikkkan no wonder the whole world wanna blow you muthafuckas up :smh:
Then you said!:
No move. I had to come up to work on a project. Was supposed to be here 2 months. Unfortunately stuck another 2 or 3. It just seems like a really long time because I really don't like it here :( I am going to finish what I started though. Then I will go home ASAP never to return
Then!
I don't want Amerikkkan citizenship. There is absolutely zero benefit to it. Carrying that passport is a real deathwish these days. I like my EU one just fine thanks. I can't wait to go home. Hopefully by October. You are a retired brainwashed military drone piece of shit living in a Nazi country. :smh:
:confused: You Got three Days then I'm Snitching!;););)

Yeah thats how I feel. It works for me to keep a spot here for the sole purpose of ordering art supplies and music stuff. I always have and thats my business. Another reason STT is so appealing its far away from the mainland US and all its brainwashed drones and when the shit hits the fan I can literally swim to the BVI if the need be. Haha thats why any other location besides NYC fails miserably cause its full of shopping malls and fast food joints and fat crap brainwashed mindless fucking idiots. People who think going to Applebees is going out for a "nice healthy dinner". People who eat over the counter cold medications and whatever other poison they are spoonfed. People who spend $200 on a pair of ugly sneakers. People who have never been out of their town let alone the country. No thanks.

This is up next. Young brothas...always get the home 1st. A car note kills your debt to income ratio and would have had me buying something in the 120-130 range. Well worth the wait.

Yo, what Subdivision is that in? Looks like my joint that I now rent off on N. Church Lane. Is that Long Leaf in Vinings?

Glade to see your investing wisely but, are you gonna have water to wash ya azz wit? Heard the shortage was critical.

M,

that's not how it works in CA. local property tax is determined by acquisition price, so those long time owners are doing just fine.

i can't speak for other states, but if they have to pay property tax on market value, that's fucked. californians haven't had to pay on market value since 1978. remember prop 13?

not sure how it works here in carolina- my last spot in atlanta had the fuckin county tax assessor walkin round my crib and knocking on the door to come inside

thats how they boot old black folk with gentrification in atlanta - not sure about NY- they probably are more progressive like CA since they have things like rent control etc
Good to know shit isnt as buckwild as I thought in Cali

its funny when you call the people selling the house and they still say they're still sellng the house!
its funny how you have nothing better to do than check up behind all these people you don't even know on the internet

shyt something like ya crib near 17th street (atlantic station goes for $400,000 and up)

but i looking for a spot like that but i rather it be south of the city limit.. or within MARTA...i dont mind driving but during the day i rather do marta cuz i work downtown near the hyatt hotel and do a lot of my side business in that area but the drive in the morning is a bytch lol

but cascade and campbellton pwky got some nice joint

but i refuse to move to another starter spot.. yours is a step above a starter home...

but from what i am understanding it sound like u got $10k in builders upgrades as an incentive and didnt have to put no money down (did they tack that shyt onto the loan?) or did you get cash back out of the deal?

shyt after i move in and get 2 more foreclosure properties to my portifilo.. i wanna get a benz cls 550 with a v12 or the new c350.... but i keep putting off cuz i trying to build equity at least $5 million dollars in equity on paper... also looking to getting some properties in miami.... but that shyt aint happening until i can get flexshare for renting a private jet.... that what i really want to floss in lol

anyway what subdivision is this property in?

The medium income in america for a family of 4 is like

$48,000

what are the odds that so many people on one message board
are making above that.............:smh::smh::smh::smh:

Dam I swear if you having a down day you can just come on BGOL and read any thread. It'll lighten your mood up easily.

Yeah right over the bridge. 172k in Cobb could be farther out. Keep in mind that Cobb is huge. It includes Kennesaw, Mableton, Austell, and Acworth so it's possible that he found something out there for that price. The farther out you go the cheaper stuff is.

In any case, I'm trying to give this guy the benefit of the doubt as he hasn't posted any crazy shit yet.

Just checked Mosaic. They want 274k for 2000sq ft. However they will pay all closing cost, six months of your first payments, one year hoa and install a 50 inch plasma. I am considering buying one if they will come down by 15k and still give me all those incentives. Do you think they will budge?
