Celestial Fire
This narrowband image captures the Horsehead Nebula (B33) and its surrounding cosmic objects, including the Emission Nebula (IC 434) and the Flame Nebula (NGC 2024). Instead of using the conventional Hubble Palette of SHO, this image employs a reversed SII and Ha channel, resulting in a less-used HSO coloration.
The data for this image was collected over consecutive nights with each filter used for an approximately 150 minutes. A Williams Optics Zenithstar 73 telescope and an ASI294MM Pro camera were utilized resulting in a total of 7.5 hours of imaging. The images were then processed using Pixinsight and Photoshop.

Pleiades Under a Full Moon
I reconfigured an 8-inch RASA telescope to use under darker skies by removing the dual narrowband and light pollution filters I had previously used with the ASI2600MC Pro camera. Eager to test the new setup, I decided to try it out under a full moon.
The Pleiades star cluster{M45) was separated from the moon by approximately 60 degrees. For the image above, I combined 111 exposures of 60 seconds each, resulting in a total exposure time of 1.85 hours. I am excited to try the system under moonless skies!
Northern Plains Red Fox - Pups
A couple of young Northern Plains Red Fox (Vulpes fulva) at the entrance to their den on the prairie landscape south of Leader, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Alfa Romeo 8C Competitizione
The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione has become a collectible modern classic. Only 500 coupés were built, and this example is one of only 40 that were sold new in the UK.
This 2009 car, J7 FYE, is in Alfa Red with a Yellow nose applied in homage to the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 racing cars that were so dominant in the 1960s and 70s. It has a 4.7 Litre Ferrari/Maserati derived V8 engine.
This rare car was seen at the Classic Motor Hub with a price tag of £225,000.
