Bone dexterity is the biggest thing.
They say it's intermediate. I don't max out at 225; I warm up and work out with 225. I lift it about 100 to 120 times while supersetting it with about 6 other exercises per session. That doesn't include dumbbell curls. I'm maxing out at 280 now.225 is literally starter weight. 135 -185 is barely warming up.
i dont understand people saying that is fat boy weight. that shit was standard back in high school and is still standard at the gyms i work out at. i wrestled varsity 160 (weighed btwn 155-160 as a junior/senior) in high school and was expected to rep 225.
anyone hitting reps of 225 is regular.
that 315+ weight for reps is when people begin to take notice.
I adopted this standard over 15 years ago for the NFL combines standard. It's not hard when you've done it for years.I am not surprised 98% of BGOL can bench 225lbs like it's nothing for warmup.
Facts. 300+ felt like it was tearing my arms off. Shit wasn't easy for me at all. There is truth to that though. A vast majority of human beings not only cannot bench press 225 but have never even attempted it. Which makes 315lbs even rarer. My max is 515lbs.

Very rare for human beings to be able to lift that.Facts. 300+ felt like it was tearing my arms off. Shit wasn't easy for me at all.
if i put in an honest effort to train in that capacity (i never have) i could get 3 plates. I've benched 295 for a couple reps on 2 or 3 different occasions.Facts. 300+ felt like it was tearing my arms off. Shit wasn't easy for me at all.
Yep, I hit 300 plus a few times in the desert while deployed. It still wasn't east, though. I didn't get videos of those, but 225 is warm-up stuff for me. I posted a video in Killamayne thread.if i put in an honest effort to train in that capacity (i never have) i could get 3 plates. I've benched 295 for a couple reps on 2 or 3 different occasions.
JW13 and killamayne are strong as shit.
For your weight, even if you did it once, is still impressive. That's a lot of weight. Depending on your height, it's even harder.I'm doing something right. 47, 170, benching 225.

caffeineI know you got super powers and shit but DAMN.
What kinda stack YOU on?
I'm almost tempted to test this theory...
Some MFs will swear they put that up and 400lbs, etc, in grade school, high school, etc., and I'd tend to believe it, but I only have two words. Prove it.Very rare for human beings to be able to lift that.

115dbs is the max i have ever pressed up.I'm not gone even lie I never cracked 3 bills...
I got to about 285, 290lbs got my 1rm but that was it. I've been told I can get it by others based on what I workout with when doing dumbbell bench press (115lbs) but I never tried. I may give it a go just to say I did it.
From your workout, I know you can. If you go for it, I will, too.1 rep. I'm right at 6'1, 190lbs to 200 now. That weight though lol shit it wasn't a joke to me. Mental shitI'm not gone even lie I never cracked 3 bills...

An there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. The key is consistency. Develope a workout plan that works for you. Long as your working out that's all that matters.115dbs is the max i have ever pressed up.
sound like you are right where i'm at with BB and DB
that's how i see it too. i was all about the numbers (my 1rm, my bodyweight) in my 20s.An there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. The key is consistency. Develope a workout plan that works for you. Long as your working out that's all that matters.

That's the most important part. Staying active and remaining strong. Not losing any muscle mass as you get older.that's how i see it too. i was all about the numbers (my 1rm, my bodyweight) in my 20s.
don't really care about that stuff now, just being consistent, like you said.
hell nah. never that. That's the most important part. Staying active and remaining strong. Not losing any muscle mass as you get older.

bamma was doin' too much lol
Man I’m 46 6’2 185lb bench 225lb. The max I’ve done was 320lb, yes ninja went with 3 plates and
2 1/2 lb. I felt weight going through my bones!
Last but least at my boy house party, this ninja(Franky) got drunk started talking shit in front of the women. We put 205 on the bench, ask him do he need a warm up. He said fuck no, I got this shit.
Man he lifted that shit off, it landed straight on his chest. We picked it off him and racked it back up. Ninja said the fuck wrong with your bench! Ninja said watch out and lifted that motherfucker again. That bitch fell straight down again on his chest. We was in tears lol.
Mind you this the same ninja who once flashed a police officer with his high beams, on a two lane highway. Saw the dotted line and drove around him saying he driving to slow. Ninja got straight pulled over for dui and got his license revoked!
Thanks I don’t push 3 plates no more. I just work out with 225lb. I didn’t see a big difference in my frame between 315-225lb. IMObamma was doin' too much lol
props on your bench by the way
Only football is the one I can see, with only the lineman, linebackers, and rbs. Sprinkle in a small few of the wrs, dbs, and qbs. College basketball freshmen muscle build be small as hell, a few come in looking like they touched weights in high school. Most high school seniors that play sports can get 225. Pick a sport.
