Congratulations!!! Every time I think of Dre I think about how he gave up publishing and what he was owed to get out of that Death Row environment. He walked away from money and friends for a piece of mind. Now, look at him. He's recouped all that back and more. Goes to show that sometimes you have to just walk away and let the universe/God take over.
Man that was ignorant as fuck. Tyrese came out of his faux Doctor Phil/ Iyanla Vanzant shtick and went hood nigga trash with it real quick.![]()
on the one hand its great to see a black man take care of his business...
on the other hand FUCK THAT NIGGA...he beat up a woman over some dumb shit and I don't ever apologised for that shit
In 1990, Dr. Dre ran into rapper and tv personality Dee Barnes at a record release party. Barnes had recently interviewed Ice Cube about leaving N.W.A., which Dre didn’t appreciate. He slammed her face and right side of her body into a wall repeatedly and had his bodyguard stop anyone from interrupting the beat down. He attempted to throw her down the stairs, but she fought back and instead received some kicks to her ribs and a punch in the back of the head. Dre’s apology was simply this: “People talk all this shit, but you know, somebody [expletive] with me, I’m gonna [expletive] with them. I just did it, you know. Ain’t nothing you can do now by talking about it. Besides, it ain’t no big thing- I just threw her through a door.”

they gonna start soldering the battery into the headset itself,....so when it goes dead, you have no choice but to take it to Apple to get it replaced.

That was over 20 years ago. People change. I don't care about that stuff. He's super low key now and I love that. He totally rebranded himself.

on the other hand FUCK THAT NIGGA...he beat up a woman over some dumb shit and I don't think ever apologized for that shit

any male who has no problem putting hands on a female especially over some bullshit gets no pass from me ever.
but we know where youre coming from don't we...I truly feel sorry for your mother![]()
Wow, he said that remorseless shit? And sadly a female is ok with it cause of his "rebranding" smh..
Yeah. He said that shit 25 years ago!
I don't understand why that statement is relevant NOW unless he beat a woman with some Beats Headphones last week.
I'm going to assume that Dr. Dre has grown since his early 20s.

Or maybe he hasn't I'm surprised he didn't get locked up for that shit

When Suge heard the news....
Detox should be free, and I don't care if all he got is a hook on the beat he need to let them shits out.
Whenever someone black has has a big accomplishment. Someone tries to smear the brother. The funny thing is how you posted the Dee Barnes shit is the same way white folks report negative shit after complimenting a black person.
I met Dee Barnes before people do change that's the only way you make a Billion Dollars negro. I doubt the Dre of today would ever do that shit. Some negroes like yourself live stuck in the past and can never grow. In truth you can't understand how Dre has achieved success you envy the brother and hate him for his success. I seen what you post on here brother and you got a long way to go. The Dee Barnes shit is just a veneer to cover up your hate.
Alright. I just did some quick research.... Dr. Dre has put hands on multiple women. We can make a seperate thread for that though. It has nothing to do with these Beats deal.
I'm not quite sure what you're laughing at.
A thread about about the unacceptable behavior of successful businessmen would be an appropriate post to discuss the topic. I'm not sure why it's relevant to discuss Dre's incident from 25 years ago in regards to Apple acquiring Beats Electronics. The accomplishment is independent of the previous charges he faced 25 years ago.
I looked back and he has multiple accusors. He didn't say shit to Suge though...but that's a topic for another thread. Dre probably beats all his women though.
i just think people should understand who and what theyre giving a pat on back to..
