Again, foolishness. What did Miami do once Lebron left? What did Cleveland do the first time Lebron left? The warriors are such a great team they won over 20 games in a row with their coach gone. That's the system. Curry plays in an almost bull proof system. Lebron makes his team good.

So again, a player should be discredited because another team has an ass system ass management! Bottom line, Curry is the UNANIMOUS MVP this year AND celebrated a chip on LeBrons home court... AND talked shit about hoping the locker room still smelled like Champagne before going their to play them AND then beating them on their own home court again...

As it stands right now, 5/12/2016... Curry OWNS LeBron, the League and the MVP award... It's Currys league right now, no matter how much you Dudes bitch and moan bruh.. Deal with it!

I need to rephase this again. I'm not saying he's going to PASS them. I'm saying what would he need to do be on their level. I think the GOAT shit needs to die. When I'm saying "goat status" I'm talking about being one of the greatest players of all time.

You notice everyone on that list is 6 foot 6 and smaller. By size along, they're able to do things defensively that a little player can't do...especially a little guy that's rail thin and can't really jump.

So you mentioned become a better defender..I'm with it. I think he can become a better defender too

I hear you. I agree with the word GOAT needs to die, but if you ask whether Steph will be one of the best players when he ends his career, then I can say yes with confidence. My point is that being "one of the best" holds little weight in the grand scheme of things. But, as much as I am a fan of him and want to see him shine, his overall game needs to evolve, before we can legitimately cosign him to be in the top echelon of all time NBA players. It is too premature to assign greatness to players who is still relatively young within their their careers. He has tremendous upside. I want to see how teams adjust to his game and see if he can be stopped. I root for him and glad to see the spotlight shine on some other players.

I hope you feel the same way after the finals...Lebron is focused

GOAT will always be subjective, and it will never be universally agreed up AND its always going to be an opinion... Just funny watching Dudes argue over this shit!

Nothing to deal with... Curry isn't know for his defense, and you basically are trying to dissect the least effective part of his game to make a 'point' whatever it is... Still not sure what the point is you are trying to make in terms of the GOAT discussion concerning Curry and Magic, but your are either slow, or mildly retarded to have that discussion, then say oh, lets not talk about offense, and then say, see, Magic is better than Curry...

You are really stupid Dude... now thats something YOU need to deal with
Exactly how do you talk about ANY NBA player... Being the GOAT... Without discussing defense??

That's HALF the NBA game.

If Curry is the best offensive player... Then that's EXACTLY what he is... But only discussing 'one side' of the court doesn't make him the GOAT. :hmm:

That's the Simple POINT that flies right over your head, dumbass.

This ain't Football. :smh: where the vast majority only play 'one side' of the ball, but could still have meaningful debates about WHO is considered the GOAT.

Go sit down.

Jordan is the GOAT because he played BOTH sides of the court, jackass.

Only you 'new school' dudes ignore defense in a conversation about.... 'the greatest'.

If you don't play one side of the ball... why are you dodging the offensive comparison with Magic and Curry then?!?!?

Like I said... You are really REALLY slow. I feel bad for you, fucking contradicting yourself and not realizing how stupid you sound... FOH Nigga... Read your stupid ass post before you click the post reply button and stop wasting my fucking time lil Fella...

Yes, He did. Steph lead the league in steals.

But it's not the steals ALONE that make the difference. :smh:

This is the big FACT that Spectrum refuses to accept. Which makes all his dumbass responses so worthless. :hmm:

There were 23 teams in the league.

Magic led the league in steals.... AND... He was grabbing MORE Defensive Rebounds than half the Centers and Power Forwards in the league at the same time.

Curry is not doing that. :smh:
And could never do that.

THAT's the big difference.

Then add on the fact that Magic could DEFEND all 5 spots on the floor.

See what I mean?

Spectrum keeps harping on steals alone.
Or rebounding alone.

GTFOH :hmm:
Dude magic was 6'8... centers were 6'9

It's not just steals. It how he impacts the game... the best Defense is a fuckin all world Offense...

But while he isn't all world on D what he does demoralizes teams Guards and Bigs alike...

You remember that face Lebron made in the finals when Curry stripped him?

pHTLhnZ.gif

The pressure he puts on other teams to be PERFECT is Highly impactful and changed games... he won't lead the league in renounds, and he shouldn't at 6'3

And while he was leading the league in steals.. He was ALSO in the Top 10 or 12 in DEFENSIVE REBOUNDING.

.

You're still on this dumb shit. Offensive rebounding doesn't make you a great offensive player like defensive rebounding doesn't make you a great defensive player.

Dude this guy is slow as fuck... Give me a lecture on how you can't gauge a great player by only looking at one side of the ball... then he says, in a debate about Curry and Magic, the only thing he wants to talk about is defense?!?! Thing is, they give these people internet access and shit though...

My take on Magic is very simple... He was a defensive minus, which is not uncommon among point guards. He was pretty slow and guarded more forwards than he did point guards, which was intentional because he would get beaten off the dribble by most. He was solid as a team defender, played the passing lanes a lot and got a lot of steals. Overall I'd say his defence was not notable, either for being good or being bad.

Yep

Your fuckery is ridiculous.

why would I talk about 'offense'.... when I was disputing a comment about 'defense'? :hmm:

The OP said that Curry and Magic were EQUAL as far as defense is concerned.

But the FACTS do not support his (or your) opinions. :smh:

End of story.

Now you want to debate whether Curry's offense is better than Magic's defense.

Go sit down.

You ole 'changing the subject' and 'moving the goalposts' looking ass nucca. :hmm:

Post them defense stats.
Stop talking out your ass.

You ole 'Curry is the GOAT... as long as we ain't talking about defense' :dunno: looking ass nucca.

That's priceless.

At the end of the day, Lebron is seeking to protect his brand. The are dollars that correspond with being the best player in the NBA and being the best player in the world. Steph Curry appears extremely safe to White America and Lebron isn't. I can bring the topic of Lebron James up around Y.T's and they are still uptight about the g decision more than five years ago. The best thing that can happen for Lebron is a victory over the Warriors in the Finals.

Lebron is more a complete player than Steph Curry. Lebron is more valuable to his team than Steph Curry is. That warriors are still a championship contender without Steph Curry, without Lebron James the Cavs are not a championship contender.

The numbers Steph put up this year are very impressive and I think it's probably the best numbers statistically ever in the league from a player if I'm not mistaken. That unanimous mvp award he won was just cherry on top. But there needs to be an asterisk on that and here's why below.

I gotta piggyback off of some of the older NBA veterans from back in the day when they say the league is watered down. The hand check rule implemented pretty much changed the game forever. As a defender in todays NBA game, your at distinct dis-advantage if your defending someone. The mere fact the you can't make any direct or indirect contact defending someone on the perimeter outside of 3 second key in order to not hinder or obstruct the opponent’s movement, speed, quickness, balance, rhythm etc as a defender your at a inherent dis-advantage. As a defender your only hope is for the player your guarding is to miss when he shoots or loses the ball by himself. Your at a dis-advantage no matter how you look at it.

The pistons bad boy era brand of basektball, even the early to mid 90's New York Knicks basketball (on/off the court) there is no way Steph Curry would be putting up those kind of videogame numbers up. There is just no way. He would be held in check on the offensive end of the ball.

Yours Truly.......Professor
90's basketball sucked because of the low scoring. It was nothing but bricks.

Also how is a hand check going to stop Steph Curry if it didn't stop other pt guards in that era?

his overall game needs to evolve, before we can legitimately cosign him to be in the top echelon of all time NBA players..

I think his team is too balanced for him to evolve too much. He's not really needed to be a great defender.. he just needs to not be a liability. And because they have such good ball movement and Greene can also handle the rock, he doesn't need to "run the offense" all the time. Now if he continued to shoot/score like this and put also upped his assist 2-3 more per game, that would be sick even if his defense stayed the same.

You kinda sound foolish. Yes it means exactly that, where would the team be without that one player? The warriors beat the rockets and won 2 against the blazers without Curry. Would the Cavs beat the Pistons without Lebron?
I have never understood how people keep giving Lebron a pass. The Cavs are stacked with 4 max players and all kinds of depth and solid players.

Without LeBron the Cavs are still the top team in the east. Yall act as if Lebron is out there with some scrubs.

Whats priceless is how pathetic your deflect attempt is... Slightly retarded as you are I shouldn't have expected much more from you're limited mental capacities...

Lil fella... Find ONE post where I said Curry was the GOAT... ONE!

I actually feel sorry for your caregivers... Must be hell taking care of you on a daily basis... especially with all the drooling and all... :smh:

Thats an opinion because LeBron isn't hurt... so again, just some hating ass bullshit from a lot of hating ass Niggas who can't deal with the fact that Curry is the best player in the league right now, and to those who matter it was UNANIMOUS! All the bullshit plea copping and goal post moving doesn't mean shit really... Just a bunch of niggas whining... :hmm:
People love giving Lebron a pass. As a Heat fan it use to make me sick to my stomach. The narrative that Lebron needs more help is crazy.

The Cavs have 4 max players and the Cavs easily take 1st place in the east without Lebron

I think ALL Stars seek to protect their brand... :hmm:

I remember Jordan getting six rings and defensive player of the year and all defense. Curry goat with one ring and two MVP's? Foh

I do remember folk calling mike the goat after his first ring.... Just saying

Miss me with all the insults, goofball. :hmm:

In their first 5-6 years in the league.... is Curry a BETTER 'defender' than Magic was? Yes or No?
Now post them STATS that PROVE your answer. :hmm:

I already posted MINE. (go back and you will see it in Black & White )

THIS is what i have been disputing. Since page 1.

Don't give me 'your opinion'.... Give me FACTS.
Save all that OTHER bullshit about 'offense', you talking about. :hmm:

Post some stats.
Your 'opinion' don't mean jack shit. :hmm:

I never said Curry was a better defender... Find one post where I said that. I said you are slow as fuck and weak ass fuck to bring up the weakest part of his game and try to create a dispute on it... Show me ONE post where I said Curry was a better defender, OR where I said he was the Greatest of all time...

You whole platform is as retarded and stupid as you are... :lol;
