{~~~Guns, Guns and Mo' Guns - The Right To Keep And Bear Arms~~~}

Update: I got my GP100 and I love it. Changed the front sight to HiViz fiber optic and ran about 150 rounds through. I used 38+p 125gr SJHP and 125gr 357. It ate all of them and didnt recoil that bad. I have a few adjustments to the rear sight that have to be made but it's a solid piece. Double action smoothed up a little after a few reloads.

4" .22lr AR pistol
7.5" 9mm SBR
7.5" - 5.56 SBR

What do you want to know?
I recall you telling me to stick with one over 10" or 12", just wanted to know which length is most reliable, practical, & consistent with accuracy... it'll have a buffer tube.

Might build it myself. All the ones I see for sale are either Franken-guns or too expensive for what they are.

OK so, the shorter the barrel the louder and more concussive shooting that bitch will be. In addition to the fact that longer distance accuracy will suffer (when you go with a barrel shorter than 10"). The sweet spot for me is a 10" barrel, in terms of maneuverability, reliability and accuracy.

While I don't really like the AR in pistol configuration. They have started to grow on me with the advent of the Brace. With that said, you can always try different barrel lengths to see which works better for you and the intended applications.

You already know I'm going to recommend that you build one from a stripped receiver. Stop playing Bro...

It's a great gun...really nice break on the stock trigger. I haven't been to the range lately but I will follow up after putting more rounds through it. Check my new bullpup setup on my Hipoint 995

That's dope. I'm not familiar with this one. Let me check this out.
Fwiw I just picked up a SCAR17. I'm looking for decent glass for it, been doing research for a week or so. Any suggestions from Bros here?

Specter DR 1x/4x
DUAL ROLE COMBAT SIGHT
The SpecterDR 4x/1x Dual Role Optical Sight represents a revolution in optical sight design. The world’s first truly dual field of view combat optical sight, the SpecterDR switches instantly from a 4x magnified sight to a 1x CQB sight with the throw of a lever. Unlike zoom sights, the SpecterDR offers an optimized optical path and identical eye relief in both 4x and 1x modes.

Depending upon the situation, the user may adjust the sight to illuminate the crosshair or just a brilliant red dot in the center. In 1x mode, the SpecterDR has by far the largest field of view in the industry. In 4x mode the SpecterDR offers a generous field of view, long eye relief, and ELCAN’S legendary crystal clear image.

The SpecterDR 4x/1x offers the best single solution for both Medium Range and CQB engagements and is designed to withstand the rigors of modern professional use.

Thanks Bro. The ELCAN & the ACOG TA11 seem to be the most popular choices.
