I pulled the trigger and got a Ruger SR9c for EDC. Put about 60 rounds through it. No complaints. Now I'm looking for a full size 9mm for a range gun....

"The plate should be rated for .308 at 2780 fps. Since it's a cheap steel plate it very likely won't stop high velocity M193 or similar rounds traveling at or above ~2900 fps, possibly an even lower threshold.
The helmet is supposedly IIIA, so any handgun rounds up to and including .44 Mag SJHP at 1430 fps."

I finished my 300 Blackout Pistol last weekend. It took two months to get the upper, but I'm more than satisfied.
This was my first custom build. Altogether it took about three months for me to gather all of the individual items that I wanted.

I did a lot research before I chose, and I figured that a single point sling would be good for me.
I'm not going to be running or climbing with it or none of that stuff. I liked the look of the paracord, so I bought it.

Very nice, my only critique would be the choice of lights. Both the Mag lite and the Nstar weapons mounted. There are many better low cost, high lumen lights, to illuminate things that go bump in the night.
