love that bike man...shit save me so much time...I can’t get to the mountains and back to the city in a fairly reasonable amount of time if I need to fuck somebody up who tries to run...it’s good for getting @ cats in their yacht...I have one for one of my other characters but it doesn’t have the rockets on it tho

Now, you can go solo and wreck shit in there if you want. Like you can hover over a spot that's cracking, put it on auto pilot, then go to the guns and use it like you would an AC-130 from call of duty.

I haven't used that, but buying it depends on what you've unlocked via research in the gun bunker.
If you've unlocked it already there's a tow behind trailer that has missiles on it that can shoot down a jet. I've used it a couple of times and it'll shoot like 5 or 6 consecutively. Haven't seen a jet outrun them all yet. Only drawback to it is that it takes a long fuckin time to lock onto a jet. That time it takes to lock on can get you killed if the jet pilot sees you
But if you going after a jet the explosive sniper rounds are the best way to get it. All it takes is 2 direct hits, and the first hit actually will either leave it smoking or completely disable it, because it knocks pieces of the jet's flaps off.
The bike, like @LSN said is the next. If you can get close enough to it you'll knock his ass completely out the air. Those missiles are fast and you can shoot a lot, especially since you can begin shooting them as soon as it locks on vs waiting for the lock on square to turn RED.
The heavy sniper explosive rounds have been nerfed recently. It takes at least three hits on a high-ranked player wearing heavy armor to kill them. So I'm sure it now takes more hits to take down a jet.
I keep hearing that but I haven't noticed it. Head shots still are one shot kills. I dunno if you have Xbox or Playstation but I record shit all the time and all my sniper kills are one shot. It's very rare I've had to shoot twice.
And as far as the jet goes that's still 2 shots. If I hit you once that jet is smoking or falling to pieces. Second hit and it's blowing up. Hell I have a clip of me hitting an avenger with explosive rounds and blowing it up:
The REAL problem tho is that new tank. It's smaller, faster, has more weapons, can hold up to 4 people and can take more damage. Buddy pulled one out last night on me and I had to go passive. The normal tank takes like 2-4 RPG rounds to blow it up. I sat there and watched @ScottyPiffen745 shoot 6-8 rockets at that new one before it blew up.
Sticky bomb traps and car bombs, you gotta do that more than once to blow it up. Then, the icing on the cake is that tank is considered a personal vehicle. Blow it up and you're paying insurance along with the bad sport notification.
They nerfed them too much. I sniped a muthafucka with a headshot yesterday with an explosive round, no helmet, no armor and he did not die.
Rockstar know they bogus for that shit.
I did all that research and spent all that bread just to unlock them shits and now they ain't really shit on the sniper.
Now it's only good if you got one of them ice skating ass niggas and you need him to stay still for a second. But then you gotta consider the fire rate of the heavy sniper, or lord forbid you gotta reload right after you hit the nigga. Then the mag only like 40 bullets, so in theory you can only kill like 20 people max with a full clip.

Yeah, I just got that tank and upgraded it. Killed a bunch of cops for five stars but I haven't gotten a chance to troll a lobby yet. It makes the old tank and the APC pointless to get.
My experience as well. Someone shot me twice with the explosive sniper and I didn't die, which is when I realized Rockstar had modified its power with the new update. Like you, the thermal scope and explosive rounds are the main reasons I did all the research. Then they drop the thermal helmet and do this shit to the explosive sniper!!

if they did nerf it I’m glad...I got caught out on the beach a while back by someone who had that shit...first time I ever felt like quitting a lobby...dude didn’t even have to hit me directly...the shit would hit the sand @ my feet and I’d die...was too proud to go passive @ first but I did eventually lol

Which helicopter are you talking about? The Avenger? If so, you need a Facility for that, not a Hangar.

Okay. Yeah, you need a hangar for storage and to customize and upgrade it. It's not like a Pegasus vehicle; more like the other special vehicles you get directly from the Interactive Menu.

I got hit it with it last week, but since everybody got a free one today, I went ahead and tried it and I just wasn't impressed.

Ran a cat outta the lobby that me and @SecondxSon was in. We were doing a heist prep and he was trying to troll us in a delorean. So we started letting off shots at him and I was using the thermal sniper rifle to aim my rpg. I got two kills like that on him, then went inside and hit him with the orbital cannon.
I gotta start from the bottom again.
I got in the lobby just in time to see that. Pulled up the map and saw his dot outside your facility so i put the mugger on him. 2 secs later he was obliterated.
