Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

"You may not have my name but you do have my blood"

Now why would he say that he was his blood rather than say that he was his son

Probably bcuz it's basically saying the same thing (fathers/parents are known to say you are my flesh and blood...OT I just remembered tomorrow's Father's Day)...he didn't say he had Stark blood...he said he had HIS blood...imo it's a subtle but strong difference...I don't remember the exact quote...if he said he had Stark blood then I stand corrected

Don't ask. Seems like he's bursting at the seams ready to spoil...

He's about to explode

Was it me or did all the slaves have a nice shade of black to them?

Isn't that the ideal color for a slave ?

The funniest shit to me was the scene with Arya and the Hound.

When the Hound got done killing all them he went straight to that food and started fucking that shit up just like he did last week when he took that pork from the old man.

The more I watch the show the more I like the Hound, he's a true knight just doesn't have the appearance & winter may be coming but dinner is here! No need to waste a meal

Can someone explain to me why Bran wants to go north of the wall?

Bran wants to be the head Ornithologist at the Aviary of the Vale and believes finding a new raven species will give him an advantage

I was thinking the same, but most great people are never satisfied. That is why you have College Football coaches that have been successful for years, turn around and try and coach in the NFL.
Yeah its their gift and curse. Its what makes them great and successful but it is also what destroys them.

I suppose that argument makes the most senses. People can't never just sit their ass down and be happy with what they have. They always gotta be looking for the 'next' thing. :smh:

That's what I'm thinking and if true it gives the Lannisters and the rest of the non northerners a real advantage.
Yea but their case, when winter comes, it will cover the whole of westeros and may last for years, even decades.

I didn't even think about that. But if that turns out to be true .... Then that's another reason why Daenerys needs to still the fuck away Westero

It's hot and sunning in the free cities. I've yet to see a single snow flake touch the ground over there.

winter is coming!

im sure to whole continent. like someone said,

thats probley why they are concerned with grain storages.

He didn't say what you think he said. Go back and watch it again.

he told him he had his blood, meaning stark blood.

it could be he meant lyanna's blood(its stark blood).

:lol::lol::smh:these dudes,:smh::lol:

rickon is on his way to the umbers.

didnt they go to war with robbie?

did they all get killed?

whos holding down the castle?

who will greet rickon?

will he be safe?

It could just as easily be taken literally that Jon has HIS blood...as I said before when parents talk about children being of their flesh + blood it's not a mere reference to namesake but to parentage...since this hasn't been revealed your guess is no better than mine...again saying "his" blood vs saying "Stark" blood is a subtle yet important difference...who knows...maybe Ned knocked up his sister and that's why he's embarrassed to talk about it

You who else went completely missing in season 3 for damn reason (unless it went completely over my head)

hes an umber.

i dont know mabey he was killed @ wedding.

he did go missing in season 3. i was wondering why

robbie replaced him with roose, as his main counsel.

roose wasnt even around @ the beginning of the war when robbie

was declared king of the north. was he one of the 200 men killed @ that 1 place(cant remember, when rob found all the bodies. mabey harrenhal).

He's The Greatjon Umber lord of House Umber

Allegedly he's captured by Freys. Contract negotiations with him and the original Mountain that rides...screwed up season 2 & 3 appearances

I hate it when contract negotiations fuck with the progression of a show. But I guess that's just the cost of doing business.

And to be honest, I didn't even realize that they had a different guy playing the Mountain. He's seems like little more than Tywin's mad dog, so I can see why they chose to quietly recast him.

However, the dude that played Greatjon in season one had a lot of personality. I highly doubt they could have recasted him without people noticing. Hopefully they can get the guy back next season and have him team up with Blackfish.

how the fuck they gone just kill the king of the north and his mama.. man fuck this slow ass show

The same scene in season 1 where Ned tells John that he will tell him about his mother he also says the following.

"You may not have my name but you do have my blood"

Now why would he say that he was his blood rather than say that he was his son

The speculation is his sister gave birth to him and made Ned promise to keep it a secret who the father was. So in that case, it would be "Blood" by relation.

Also, in Season 1 when Robert visits Winterfell and asks Ned to take him to the crypt to visit the tomb of his sister, he asks, "how's Jon?"

Robert was nuts if he thought Jon was Lyanna's he would have assumed he was a product of Rhaegar raping her...and had him killed immediately. Robert was kill all my enemies no matter age or gender.

Personally I think Lyanna fell in love with Prince Rhaegar...all the maidens wanted him (Cersei too)

Dude was a handsome prince and all but why would she run away with the dude after his father killed her brother and her father. The Starks don't play that shit

As you point that out her situation sounds remarkably similar to Sansa

Sansa is a hostage and she ain't in love, all that lovey doves shit went through the door when Joffrey killed her father

No shit but...

...his father killed her brother and her father

...this is what I was talking about...I figured that was obvious since she is also being held captive by a family responsible for the death of her brother/father

When all is said and done they HAVE to do a damn prequel

Since the season went off I've been reading a lot about the events that occur before where the show starts and was thinking the same thing. Probably won't happen though because of costs and re-cast (since every character would have to be 20 years younger in the prequal)

Ya esp. if the series gets a good 7 year run they might just leave well enough alone
