Game Of Thrones season 2: The night is dark and full of terror................

I cant believe people have a huge problem with the Melisandre and Stannis sex scene....:smh::smh::smh:

They have no problem with the gore but when it come to the sex part its a problem..:hmm::hmm:

Yo Smoke,

Did I just watch Craster offer his baby son up to an 'Other' or was I just seeing some shit?

This shit is getting interesting.

EDIT: Ooohh so that's why Craster's punk ass ain't worried about the Wights coming to get him

WeeBey.gif
Damn, I didnt even think of that angle. I even have more disdain for Craster now. First turning all his daughters into his wives, now offering his sons/grandsons to those things.

i expect that the next episode will be the one where everything starts to take form, setting up for a great season.

I personally thought it was beautiful. She wasn't being slutty, she was procreating for a good cause. What the fuck are we alive for if not to procreate? So far she and Tyrion for me are the only ones who "get it".

ninja sacrificing babies to the whitewalkers.:lol:

Jon heard the whitewalker speaking in their language and shit.:lol::lol::lol:

I don't think that scene was in the books either. I could be wrong, but I don't remember that scene with Jon spying on Craster, nor Craster knocking him out.

And how is it snitching IF you are talking about the episode AFTER the episode was aired???

the differences are necessary cuz the season is ten eps and all, but i hope they don't make the differences as gaping huge as twd tho...

If a beautiful woman looks me in the eyes and tells me she can give me a son.... IT'S GOING DOWN!!!!

In the credits tonight I could have sworn I saw "Sahara Knite", and (I don't think this would qualify as a spoiler) I think it was the chick that was blowing dude at the brothel. IMDB says she was even on an episode last season. Sorry if it is already known.... but thought I'd give a heads up in case it wasn't.

HBO renews Game of Thrones for a third season!

With the great DVD/BR and international sales of season one, and now the big ratings numbers for season two, this was a foregone conclusion. But now it is official: HBO has renewed Game of Thrones for a third season! Here is the press release HBO just sent out.

HBO RENEWS GAME OF THRONES FOR THIRD SEASON
First Episode Of The Second Season Has Already Grossed 8.3 Million Viewers

LOS ANGELES, April 10, 2012 – HBO has renewed GAME OF THRONES for a third season, it was announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming.

“Series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss raised our expectations for the second season – and then surpassed them,” said Lombardo. “We are thrilled by all the viewer and media support we’ve received for the series, and can’t wait to see what Dan and David have in store for next season.”

Based on the bestselling fantasy book series by George R.R. Martin, GAME OF THRONES is an epic drama set in the world of Westeros, where ambitious men and women of both honor and ill-repute live in a land whose summers and winters can last years. The Emmy®- and Golden Globe-winning fantasy series began its ten-episode second season Sunday, April 1 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT), with other episodes debuting subsequent Sundays at the same time.

Among the early critical praise for the second season, Newsday called GAME OF THRONES “the best show on television,” while the Los Angeles Times termed the series “a cinematic feast” and “masterful.” The Wall Street Journal hailed the show as “magnificent” and USA Today called it “near perfection.”

According to early data, GAME OF THRONES’ season two premiere has already accumulated a gross audience of 8.3 million viewers, and is on track to easily surpass the season one average of 9.3 million viewers.

Season two cast members include: Emmy® and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage, Michelle Fairley, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aidan Gillen, Iain Glen, Kit Harington, Richard Madden, Maisie Williams, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Sophie Turner, Jack Gleeson and Alfie Allen.

Season two credits: The executive producers of GAME OF THRONES are David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Carolyn Strauss, Frank Doelger; co-executive producers, George R.R. Martin, Vanessa Taylor, Alan Taylor, Guymon Casady, Vince Gerardis; produced by Bernadette Caulfield.

Winter Is Coming: So we got our renewal, although it wasn’t for two seasons as some hoped. This is likely due to various contractual complications, and not because HBO has lost faith in the show. The way this show is trending, I am very confident we will get a season four as well, although we will have to wait until next year for it to be official. For now, we know for sure that we have another 10 episodes worth of Thrones goodness coming! Looking forward to getting into all the casting and filming discussions again!

True, but those are relatively minor things except the Mel + Stannis thing. That was implied in the books but never shown explicitly. Just like the Renly being gay was implied but never shown as it was in the HBO show. I think that's HBO just trying to spice things up.

The Stannis - Melissandre scene was never implied in the books, as Stannis is depicted as being a stern, inflexible and strict disciplinarian in regards to those around him as well as himself. It was his wife who brought Mel to him and she convinced him to convert to "The Lord Of Light". By bringing this element into play, they are (imo) weakening Stannis's character and possibly removing one of the plotlines of the book.

I really like how during the intro they continue to add new locations as the world of the 7 kingdoms expands as the story continues to grow.

I've been reading alot of comments and alot of people are saying the Melisandre and Stannis scene was in the book :dunno:

actually it can be implied that stannis was fucking her in the books; he deliberately avoided his wife's bed chambers for years, melissandre was almost always around and she was 'unofficially' dubbed stannis' queen by his and other men.

discussing how and what parts of that scene was in the book, will require dropping a spoiler - so we'll talk again after 2 or 3 more episodes

Cotdayum! Good catch, that was definitely her! :D Anyway, did dude wipe off cum from her face and offered her to another dude who immediately kiss her on the mouth? :puke:

Dude who called himself "Baylong Greyjoy's heir" (I know the spelling is probably wrong)...did his sister just let him rub her clit and boobs knowing he was her brother? :smh:

Man, I really need to read the books.

I was talking about the sex scene in episode 2...
the TV show is playing with the time a little, but in the book -sex between Mel & Stannis was first discussed later in the story between Davos and Mel while they were on a mission - they specifically talked about what happened on the evening after Stanis and Renly parlayed and before Stanis and Renly were to meet in battle -how Stannis' first "son" was conceived and born...
