I don't see this series running past 7 seasons max. And there's going to be at least 7 books.

But at this rate, HBO won't catch up because books 4 & 5 are just as long as books 2 & 3, but books 4 & 5 have a like a 90% overlap in terms of the time the events in the books take place.

HBO won't have the luxury of chopping it up like that or people will get confused. I wonder if they will spin off some movies to fill in some of the gaps.

My new favorite characters on the show are now Tyrion Lanister and Bronn. Tyrion is physically the weakest character on the show, but he is the most powerful by far. Little dude is just on point with all his angles.

Tyrion has me rolling when he told Bronn to kill Jonos if he said another word. Trion and Bronn had Joffery's entire court shook.

Co-Fuckin-sign!!!! I want that cat to win some type of award for his role. Joffrey has me ready to strangle his Lil ass but Tyrion has me applauding during each of his scenes!

Im only speculating here,but when that time comes,I think they are going to do Book 4 and 5 at the same time..They already putting stuff in Book 3 in this season,it will be easy for them...imo....

What about the 3 prisoners that were locked in the cage and the fire was about to engulf them??? It wasn't never shown what happened to them, whether they escaped, were freed, or were killed. In "A Clash of Kings" (book 2), their outcome has a major impact on Arya's storyline.

I have to watch it again, but she threw them the Axe to free themselves. but I agree they didn't give them much screen time. Non book readers are going to be confused if/when they show up again.

Him and Arya. Her character just makes me smile. She definitely is her father and mother's daughter. She is hella smart and I love the way her character is going. I just started the books (on page 30) but her character in the show is as well as Tyrion are my favorite by far. If she was a boy she be be something special of a warrior.

Damn shame that each season will only be 10 episodes. They could easily go 13 episodes like other one-hour dramas.

Book 3 will be broken up into 2 seasons which still may not be enough.

Season 2 is a great season because they introduce so many great characters like my ninja Davos Seaworth, Xaro, Brienne, Roose Bolton, and although he was technically introduced in Season 1, Jaquen H'ghar.

Highly suggest those that have an iPad to watch the episode on HBO Go so you can peep the interactive elements included.
