Game Of Thrones season 2: The night is dark and full of terror................

Two things;

1. I adore this show.
2. This might be the best book-to-screen adaptation ever.

Nope that goes to the green mile. the only difference is the guy that asked him about the walks being the person you like character and affected the end of the book ( not trying to spoil it for those who had not read it yet)

It is pretty good for the first 30 pages or so it is dead on. what they did not speak on at least get in the series was explained in the first few pages of the book when the white walkers turned the person they killed in to basically a zombie-like walking dead being.

the zombie-like thing is a white wallker... the being that turned him was an Other...

But yeah - overall its a very good adaptation from the book, and I love the way they take the opportunities to illustrate or show the social / political atmosphere, or really crystallize the heart of a situation or motivation of a character - like the scenes with gossiping soldiers, or Little Finger's tutorials / monologues, or Tyrion seeing / hearing the demagogue in person, instead of by hearsay...

lol if you read shit and it says spoilers why the fuck you continue reading it? That's the dumbest shit in life. Wtf.

And this episode was good. I loved it all. Arya is so that bitch. "Anyone can be killed." And then Ice Grilled Tywin. Like"... and.......what?"

rofl

Lol. She went in like, " this is me not given a fuck".

Am I the only person that think,Renaly's death was poorly executed

i thought the scene was cool. Brienne went to work on them guards.

My thoughts on the scene were that there were several ways to do it.

1- Have the dark ominous wisp wander through the camp.
2- Have a first person view of it coming through the camp
3- Do it like they did it

I liked three when compared to the other two. The war as everyone knew it was going to be over. The Starks and the Baratheons joining forces to overpower the Lannisters. They can taste victory on their tongues only to have a visible ashy smoke death enter the room and essentially transform almost certain victory into defeat.

The best part of it is the only ones to witness are two women and one of whom was sworn to protect the king at all costs. How could you explain that someone or something got past you when you don't even know what it was? People still can't believe that the White Walkers are real. If this had happened in front of the masses that would be one thing, but happening as it happened is like hitting a hole in one on a course by yourself or seeing a UFO by your lonely - no one would believe you and there would be no explaining it because you look guilty.

The bond forged in Valyrian steel between Breann and Lady Stark is one that will be legendary. They were the sole witnesses to an event that neither could explain and need each other as much as any two people can need each other. Lady Stark offers safety in Winterfell and Breann offers safety to get them there.

Pretty brilliant if I say so myself.

-damn, the brother did just want some pussy.

-the youngest stark daughter & the imp are my two favorite characters.

-sansa is learning quickly, methods of survival.

the imp said she might outlast everybody.

she knows how to keep her game face on,

till they come for her. just doing what shes has to,

to get by. she was ready to push jofferys' ass off that ledge.

Man, Kelisi is a sexy/fine white chic... I would want a pice of that, but definitely not for HALF :smh: Still watching episode now...

The white boy definitely ran some serious game to her... Cockblocking 101...

she was ready to have black babies, & rule the throne!

Hell yeah i'm mad sharkbait. I read this thread because i want to talk about the episodes i've seen. None of my friends watch it and i've gotten a ton of the back story from here. But you got fuckers like Count23 that think everybody's read the books and its his duty to tell everyone wtf is going to happen.

Ok you read the book ..... good for you. He posted a big ass spoiler that fucked up the season for me. Regardless if it happens or not now i'm looking for it to happen the suspense is gone and it cheapens the show for me. He didn't even have a reason to post it in this thread he could have gone to the other thread and pointed the dude there. Fuck you Count23 u bitcH ass nikka i hope i get to cross path's with you one day.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Calm down bro... it's all good. Count23 isn't one of them dudes spoiling things for shits and giggles. White font preceded by a spoiler warning is pretty standard on BGOL.

Never read Green Mile.... just saw the movie. Maybe I'll read it sometime... although I'm tired as hell of the "magical negro" storyline.

Yeah... I really love the way the show writers have approached the adaptation. This really could have been a disaster given the scope of the books but they've done a really great job of bringing the story to the screen.

bitcH as hoe fuck you and your family. I don't ethug but if i ever find out who you are you got a two piece waiting for you.

shut the fuck up faggot, before i post another spoiler and MAKE you read it.
*SPOILER*Arya is gonna kill the Mountain that rides soon*SPOILER*

greenz and count23 beefin in here????:lol::lol:

tha fuck is going on?

no beef, dude just gettin his panties in a bunch over small shit. trust, the shit I "spoiled" is small beans compared to what happens later in the story.

btw

*SPOILER*When Danerys storms Westeros, her dragons will burn Joffrey to a crisp.*SPOILER*

I know but I thought they would of done it alot better :dunno:

well i didn't really have a problem with it, the only thing was that in the book it was more surprising, since the shadow-man was unexpected as opposed to the show where you saw it being born.

Just got it. And his hand didn't fall from his wrist.:lol::lol::lol:

Tyrion, Arya, Jon Snow, The Kingslayer and The Hound are my favorite characters.

I don't like how they changed the scene with Danaerys and the fat white dude. It was different in the book. As was the scene with Arya & Tywin. It wasn't in the book at all, nor the scene afterwards with Amory Lorch. I also didn't remember Little Finger meeting like that with Tywin. I could be wrong, as it's been awhile since I read the 2nd book.

DAMN!!! Most of this ep never happened in the books!!! Especially that last scene with Danaerys!!! This is some BULLSHIT!!!

This is some bullshit, 1 miserly hour is not enough!
That's what I said , one hour is not enough
The story moves so slow , this show needs to be 2 hours every week

It was like 10 minutes of dude laying with the Gil on the ground freezing

Make this shit 2 hours

The budget for this show must be really low ,they don't show any battle scenes
This thing is like a high school play ,with costumes
