I've been real busy lately and haven't been checkn much info on other sites about tmo and phones--besides all the rumors got too cloudy 4 me, but if anybody hears any specific date that tmo stores or anybody other than google will offer the Nexus One be sure to post it here. I mean fk, i'll pay $379 2morrow for the Nexus, but that $530 plus tax shyt,
Also if my hunger for a new phone folds to temptation, does anybody know, if I purchase this phone at that full outrageous price of $530, will I be able to use my current sim card and current plan? I'm currently paying $49.99 for unlimited calls, $19.99 for unlimited data, and $9 for unlimited text. So if I buy it unlocked can I keep my current plan and not have to roll with that higher priced plan they are advertising on the website??
Also I see the unlocked version of Verizon's Droid is the Motorolla Milestone, if I bought that unlocked (the Milestone)would I still get 3g? Are there any features that wont work on tmobile since it's not a tmobile phone? Thanks
just 2g... wait for the hero(my touch 2) slide from htc. good android 2.1 with updated htc intereface with physical keyboard. bad. 500mhz processor again...
Man I was in an uproar about getting a new phone and settled down and decided to stay with my G1 for a bit longer.. I guess i will just change up the ROMs/Themes for a while and enjoy the apps. There really isnt anything thats EXCITING me and @ a reasonable price point. I NEED a physical keyboard and good camera and I dont want to leave T-Mobile.. so it looks like I will be waiting.
^ I agree w/ you about Cyan's roms.. even the themes are starting to lose luster because no one is coming out with anything NEW and innovative. I think thats why that Experion teaser had everyone salivating.
lol, the Experion shyt stayed on my phone for 1 fkn day, no that's when I went out of town, it probably stayed on my phone for 3 days. They sure gave that kid a hard time on xda, but shyt 4 all the irregular shyt it did to my phone, maybe the youngster deserved a wedgie or a spitball thrown at him, shyt the contact icon was so fkn big i couldn't even see who was calling me unless i had their pic for their contact. I haven't been to xda in a week or 2, guess i'll head over there now and see what's new.
man aint too much new.. the only theme thats really rocking is fucking Darkstar.
gonna have to check in2 that.
Dro, I can get the Nexus One for $179 if i add an additional line, i don't need an additional line just trying to get the Nexus without paying $529, any advice?
nah, I think you can suspend one of the lines and pay like $5 a month.. I THINK.
Royal.. peep Marks Theme.. looks promising. Im flashing it now. I love the graphics.. very visual.. homie said he was a fine arts major so that was his focus.
try droidappz.org when their site comes back up..
They have serial #'s?
Even better question when are coming back up? Lol
Not certain.. they were down yesterday when I checked.. hopefully later today. They dont usually post serials, they post the actually .apk of the app and you use Astro file manager to load and run the app.
I'm still looking for the full version of PdaNet I only have the trail version on my laptop...its a great tether tool for those NON-ROOTERS
been looking for this too

This is my 1st theme, so please excuse the crappiness. To any MOD that finds anything not XDA compliant please let me know and I will remove it, not sure on what "warez" are anymore.
This is a Themed ROM based on JAC's xROM-Eclair-v1.0-Dark This ROM will work as a no-wipe update just remember to wipe your dalvik-cache.
Thanks to JAC for the ROM, Manup456 for the original xROM graphics, cacheinjection, FreekyFrogy, djosiah and sir*mez for their theme work which I combined together to make Dark-ObsiDian
PNG OPT and ZIPALIGNED!!
(I know JAC's ROM is as well but I was able to shrink the system/app directory 10MB to fit my added apps)
KNOWN ISSUES!! (Any insight on these issues will be well appreciated)
*If u flash this over ANY xROM-Eclair the first time you click an application it MAY FC and or disappear from the home screen. This only happens the first time you open an application, its due to the ROM trying to zipalign the application.
*If the system accesses SU for any reason while you are mounted to the PC the moment you unmount the phone will reboot.

WARNING: These 3 files should be considered beta, as they haven't been tested much yet. I can confirm, however, all 3 work fine on manup's Eclair 2.1. I am not to be held responsible for any damage to your speaker/hearing or and damage to your phone, etc. etc.
Ok, Because so many people were complaining about really quiet/loud in-call volume, i felt it belonged in its own thread.
QUIET - This file will make the in-call volume very quiet on all settings
LOUD - This file will make the in-call volume very loud and distorted (but can be turned down)
QUIET-TO-LOUD - This file starts off very quiet and ends up very loud. You can choose your own preferred volume.
Files combined with the Headset and Bluetooth boost, curtosy of Zei, cheers man!

good lookn Zei good 2 c ya back, so you say that rom is stable? question, I have never flashed any roms other than from Cyanogen. When I rooted my phone, I did that 1 click root. If I flash the rom you posted, will I have to reroot or anything to install or can I just download the file and flash? Like will I have to do all those commands, install radios and all that or since i'm already rooted I can just flash the rom and ride out? the bluetooth work with this rom, it appears it does, just making sure, how is it better than Cyanogen? thanks
Good to be back
No rerooting required of any rom simply because once its rooted thats it. And if you have cyan's or Amon-Ra's recovery image your good to go.
I recommend that if you dont have the latest radio's and spl's or not sure if you do have them...download and install them
http://code.google.com/p/sapphire-port-dream/
ALWAYS flash the radio then the SPL or you'll brick yo shit...lol.
To install the radio/SPL just simply place them on ya sdcard and reboot into recovery and flash any zip. Some ROMs require that you have the files because of the size of the ROMs.
Next is that some ROMs require you to wipe ya dalvik-cache. Hell I dont know the damn commands but I use Amon-Ra's recovery image. Its based off of cyans but a HELUVA lot more tools to make flashing roms easier. Id recommend you flash it as well.
The bluetooth is working along with WiFi, it has a 10MB speed hack, it has the 5 screen launcher like cyanogen AND its based a little off of his kernel. So it has SOME[not all] of his features but since he's backporting 2.0 items it dont make sense to have them on here. Speed is great, the Nex^2us 1.3 theme has the LiveWallPapers with it and the lockscreen is interactive like the droid's[spinning wheel] the Nexus 1 animated bootscreen etc etc.
All in all bro, 1.6 is growing stale and 2.0 is just getting underway so why not upgrade. And if you dont like it, just restore your old nandroid backup. Been using the ROM for the past 3 days and haven't had not a 1 problem yet
well you convinced me, gonna go ahead and back everything 2nite, may flash 2morrow or might just wait on the Nexus, i'll get it soon as i find away around that additional line shyt.
Google got N1 ppl by the nuts with this. Bad as I want one, I dont have 500$ bucks to blow right now
can anybody find PdaNet Full Version??
this is the home replacement i use for my droid called Home++
I have 6 screens but here are 3 of them including one with "screen cards" that will be in 2.1 that the home developers added to their home replacement, with the new genie app.
