it has flash, just not flash 10 (yet) so for now you cant watch those kinda flash such as Hulo.com, but when we geet the genuine update to 2.0 you will also get Flash 10.

Welcome to the droid fam...my boy is looking to buy since he's with sprint. Is it a pretty fast phone?
Are you using cyanogen 4.2.9.1? and do you have the app "lock Screen"? If you do then restore a nandroid backup and uninstall it.
If not then just flash the 4.9.2.1 rom again then dont reboot, reflash the theme again and go through the normal process. If those dont work then do a fresh wipe of the phone and try again.
Same here, this theme caused so many problems that i couldnt even update to cyan current shit. I had to erase every partition I had then flash cyans rom
a damn shame i tell ya...unless dude get his shit together then its a no go for me. BTW, next time when you flash something...goto console and type fix_permissions and this should solve most of ya force close problems

Mostly I surf the net and use document editors..
i want to use flash for movie streaming sites when available
and a good bit of time filling games .
ive been playing with the Droid and i like it but i have quite a catalog of palm apps and i do prefer the slide down keyboard.
If u get droid go to droidappz.org and get documents2go. Lets u edit and create office files.
Surfing the net is great. Get dolphin browser from the market for pinch to zoom gestures.
Games are coming in u can get them on the site or the market. u can also run emulators to play nes,snes and sega rom games.
flash is not available until 2010 by adobe no release date yet.
thanks yea ive been playing with theses already which is why im leaning towards the droid... its just hard making the break with palm.
Are there any other google voice apps other than the official one on the market. I am looking for one that allows you to dial through the web. Web OS has a couple like this.
Ok Zei and AgentCreed and anyone else in the know.. its that time.. for an upgrade. Although I like the G1, I'm ready for something new/different. I have had an acrylic case on my phone since day 1 and its in excellent/mint condition, hopefully I can get a little change for it on ebay or craigslist. Now my dilemma is which phone should I go with? I want to stay with Tmobile.. been with them since the sidekick was b&w.. never had an issue.. service is good in my area. I definitely want to keep Android but there MUST be a phone with a better cam than the G1, preferably with flash. Is there something out now that I should grab or is something on its way I should wait for?
Oh yea, Zei.. "fix_permissions" was a thing of beauty! As many times as I have changed roms and themes I have never used nor been aware of that.. good looking out.
u gotta wait man. CES is this coming week i think so future phones will be announced so i'd wait or maybe get the nexus one u like tmo reup for 2 yrs get it for 180 on the 5th or 6th. if ur a physical keyboard person u may have to wait i dont see any keyboarded androids in tmo's lineup just yet...if u do leave go sprint or vzw only. ATT is coming out with some bastardized android called the backflip but it has no android market or google apps and u r only allowed to use att apps.

Yea I forgot to mention how much I dislike onscreen keyboards. I guess I will play the waiting game. I swear it looks like Tmobile is gonna lose the grasps of the Android lineup/market to VZW.. smh. I don't even see too many Tmobile commercials. Everything is VZW vs ATT. Ahh well. I will see what happens in the next couple of months. I'm getting bored with the roms and themes @ this point.. I thought Experion was gonna be a bright spot but it ended up being a little dull.

So far from what ive seen is just the onscreen keypads which kinda sucks. If you want the 2.1 software then go with nexus or if you wait till feb the Sony Erricson X10 will be coming out

Drizzy has some kewl widgets and new roms but I never understand why people waiste time with his shyt when half of the things beneficial with rooting don't work. SD card don't work, bluetooth, etc.......... There's always a gang of things with all the roms outside Cyanogen that doesn't work. I keep flashing Cyanogen and only Cyanogen shyt as I await the official word for Tmo's next Android phone. Anybody who has the G1 or mytouch i'd wait til the next Android is dropped by tmo--all the other shyt they've been dropping is child's play, just wait for this Nexus One, long as these rumors on pricing and plans aren't true. Press Conference is coming next week, just hold your horses with all the speculations. Fk it, if u can't wait just dl the latest Cyanogen Rom, go to links that have been posted earlier in this thread for app sites and enjoy your reborn G1 until we have official news. Props to all ya'll who have the Droid! Let's see what tmo has coming next, hopefully ya'll we'll be giving us props, lol.
