Drayonis warned us more than a decade ago

come on dude everybody that rides rides don't die this ain't final destination

he was a worker clearly did something wrong while he was working probalby didn't use his harness or something.
This might be true, but unless it's at Cedar Point or a major amusement park I'm not getting on that shit. My days are getting on Fair rides are over, especially since I live just over an hour from Cedar Point, one of the best amusement parks in America

Bro y'all know I stay joking on here. I'm not ever going to tell anybody not to ride really (I'll suggest that you don't). I've said, ASK any theme park vet - ask them if they ride rides? They gonna tell you Hell FUCK NO!
*and its not because we've aged out of riding either. - We've just seen too much.

These ride deaths are sort of like black folks complaining about police brutality before the internet- "nobody believed you", because they never really saw it in 4k. Now with 24/7 instant news and camera phones, the world is seeing what Park folks have always known. Shit aint safe.

Man it’s because of you I swore off of all rides with my kids. My daughter used to cry and shit but I told her she’s grown now, I got your burial and insurance so go ahead and ride. My son ain’t riding nothing but small slow rides. None of that roller coasters bullshit, graviton etc.

I posted about two of the rides I rode at Atlantis and almost died. One was the Blackout. Fam, don’t get on it! It’s a high velocity vertical drop down into a huge pool. The force was so great hitting the water that it welds you to the pools floor for about 10-15 seconds. If I wasn’t a good swimmer I’d never have gotten on it. The other ride was a donut with about ten people on it. We almost flipped over the edge to a 100 foot drop. After that bullshit I had had enough and got into the wading pool. Fuck a ride, roller coaster and anything else!

This is where I'm at with it. I grew up riding every amusement park ride I saw, had a season pass to Astroworld every summer. But I took my daughter to a carnival in Memphis/Southaven and saw some shit duct taped together:smh:. No more carnival rides for me.

Hitting 3 Amusement parks this summer, can't wait.

So we know carnival rides at this point are death traps...

So are we saying 6 flags etc are guaranteed safe?

@Drayonis

I can only speak for myself, vacations to amusement parks is a family tradition. Been riding forever, and my daughter has been riding since she was 2. Don't want to teach her to be scared of life, shit you can die anywhere anyhow. I don't doubt Drayonis' stories though because I remember Excalibur being shut-down for awhile, I just didn't know why though.

Yo, at Cedar Point one time with some veterans I went to military Mondays where they were free for veterans oh, so we bought the Fastpass

BRUH

Jumping to the front of the line on almost every right was worth the $100 I spent on it, especially since I didn't have to pay the gate fee

Funniest shit. I rode the Maverick with my friends and I liked it so much I went to ride it again. When I went up the first time I happened to see a guy who was at the 45 minute wait mark

We just happened to see each other as I went.

I went on immediately after and happened to see that same, he saw me getting on the ride AGAIN before he even MOVED and his face was different

When I immediately got on the third time after the second time his face was markedly different.

But when I got on the 4th time, this time it was by myself because my friends were like okay we had taken this ride three times already, but I wanted to go on the 4th. I saw that man again probably three feet from where he was the first time I saw him and his look was... I didn't ride it again after that, but I know he was looking for me

Yeah, I wouldn't be fucking with any rides in a developing country. India still be on human powered time.
