He got beat by the better guy. He didn’t quit. He still had heart, a big right hand and kept getting up. That’s the heart of a champion just like the greats. He just needs a better strategy and he still may not win. Losing may be the best thing for him. He assumed he didn’t need anything but a right hand. Now he sees he can be beat just doing that. We’ll see what happens next.
Bruh.. you can't talk as much shit as Wilder did and quit. If he wasn't as arrogant and talking about he wants a body on his record, I'd stomach your response a bit easier. I have no sympathy for him. You can't talk that much shit and not show up. All these excuses for Wilder, equilibrium, ear, legs, his dog died, etc.. and this was just an old fashioned ass whooping.

Yeah Wilder lost because of the headlocks :hmm:

wilder lost because of an illegal shot to the back of his head that cut his ear
its a reason why the shot is illegal...its known to fuck up your equilibrium

On life, I woke up mad trying to understand why in TF I'm barking on ppl today (when it's not in my nature). This lost has put a mental damper on me. ALWAYS laughed at sport fanatics that would break their TV in their house..... and now I understand why someone would rage knowing your spirit was for that particular person and/or team.

Last night I mentioned that I'm giving up on the heavy weight division BUT i MUST understand after the emotions have passed, Deonte should receive support from all those who we're by his side from day one. I certainly was. Deontae, if he goes w/ the rematch clause, he would NEED TO hire Freddie Roach, Emmanuel Steward's nephew, OR even on this one time basis... Floyd Mayweather / Floyd Mayweather Sr / Roger Mayweather to help dominate his next match offensively AND defensively. In prayer, he recovers expeditiously and not allow his future fights to psychologically make him a scared fighter to let his hands go.

The original post stated that he had a champions heart. My point was after all that shit talk, how the hell are you going to quit. I'm clear he didnt because he wasn't supposed to.

Yeah for the lil dudes weight class sports are the way to go since Soccer is probably the only lucrative path out of the major corporate sports where you can make it to the world class level being small or with high economical barriers like F-1 Motorsports etc.

There's way more than 10 in boxing making good money whether u consider at least $1mil a yr to be good money or 200-300k a yr etc but yeah I get it that there's way more in Basketball in the NBA and other pro leagues making at least $1mil a yr or the NFL having 900+ players making at least $1mil a yr. For the most part, most big dudes and by that meaning at least 6 ft tall and 200 lbs are going to the team sports route first whether its Basketball, football, baseball, hockey, Australian Rules Football, Handball, Rugby. Boxing route is not as appealing in a lot of ways like in the beginning while u build your career up fighting cans you're not really getting paid shit like $1,000 a fight or even less along with the toll all the training camps take on your body with sparring etc. There's also things about it more appealing than the team sports tho, for the most part you can be your own boss or at least way more than in team sports where you're a w-2 employee which may or may not be for you depending on your personality having to listen to coaches and management, having to abide by more rules. Also, when you make it to the 7 figure purse level, you're most likely only doing 2 fights a yr on avg, so on avg about 10 weeks of work per fight, you're "working" 20 weeks out of a 52 week yr which gives you a lot more free time than most of the team sports offseason although your camps are more intense being the trade off. Boxing is the next best option i guess if you can't make it in the team sports, HW MMA is much easier to start late since the talent pool is way more shallow so some1 like Derrick Lewis can stay consistently in top 10 UFC HW division where as if he stuck with boxing he probably wouldn't have been able to crack top 50. If you can't make it in MMA like how Juan Adams just got cut by Dana White, then you prolly gotta holla at Vince McMahon and see if you can fake fight in pro wrestling or maybe a spot in the XFL now that he got that up. If you can't cut it in pro wrestling, back in the days there was Battledome which is where Terry Crews started before he was able to work in Hollywood. Nowadays without Battledome, the only last resort thats even below Pro Wrestling would be porn smh. That's when you know you've hit the bottom

I made note of the lighter weights already. That's why there's still a stream.of black boxers there.

As far as some big guys still coming into boxing , just because they can't make it into the other sports, that's Deontay. They come too late, while people in other places are doing it from 10 years old or earlier.

You won't see a bunch of big men hoping they can get to be the maybe 10 guys who make some dough out of it , when they can carry on hopes of being one of the HUNDREDS of positions in b ball and football.

And in the UFC it's the same. Barely anyone over 185, and ALL of them come from having been on wrestling teams coming up. Tryon Woodley, Kamasutra Usman(he's African but raised in the states) , Daniel Cormier, Jon Jones , all former wrestlers. I guarantee you Ckrmier has a football background first. We know Jones did cuz his two brothers play. He was just too skinny.

I see your point about the backgrounds of basketball players changing. I still think there's an element of it being in the hood enough to where people can recognize you got something , and young du4es can even get some pussy out if it , which is enough to keep anyone going lol

Bruh.. you're clearly not understanding what I'm saying. HE DIDN'T QUIT. We clear there? Deontay wasn't fighting due to a champions heart. He wrote a check that his ass couldnt cash. That was my point. Did I mention that Deontay didn't quit...

I knew I was forgetting somebody , thanks. You're right, Derrick Leriws, another football throwaway, yes, has a much better shot at MMA than in boxing because he started way too late.

Yeah , I agreed, there are much more than 10
Guys getting decent checks , but we don't see them much, and glory is a part of this. If a guy is a young boxer nowadays , no one in his area gives as much of a shit as they would've back in the day.

I pretty much agree with everything youre saying though. All those are ways people can make some scratch with their bodies.

Sure, but that's another reason I'm.glsd they threw it in THEN. That guy who DIED a few weeks ago was still punching too. Wilder was bouncing from corner to corner for 4 rounds straight. Only hope he had was loading up that right and Tyson saw it coming every time. That little jab he threw out wasnt finna do shit. He was about to get a clean one right to the face at some point That could changed his life. This way, he can come back another day.

Wise words from Andre.

Now imagine Deontay learning pure boxing techniques , then getting into some trouble and remembering to use em. We saw what he does last night. He just started loading up on that right. Hoping Tyson would be stupid enough to run into it. He kept it locked and cocked like a shotgun. That's when people show you who they are, and at this age, He will always go back to that no matter what.

Dre says it would be hard psychologically to learn. Some new shit, better yet, learn to use it. Y'all gonna still be watching him in the 10 fights it would take to get that down? That's about 5 years from now. Doing it in practice AND in real fights. See ya at 40 Deontay. Hopelly you'll be retired by then , not boxing.
