 man, one of favs...I watched it a bunch of times, too. Makes me laugh like I'm watching it for the first time every time. Chappelle said he was the most proud of that line when he said "who is suckin' who's tittays" and Eddie broke character and laughed, making what he was drinkin' go through his nose. & Chappelle's fake teeth are hilarious, too.

Check the scene:

Chappelle is the mass produced black comedian. When the joke was on everyone else even Eddie was laughing .
Then came Eddie's turn.

Damn!

Another point in the scene is Chappelle's physical movement. He put his body in to every punchline. Precise as hell too.

Kevin Hart and Chris Rock said they were writing jokes together then saw Dave on stage. They said they crumpled the paper they wrote their jokes on. They said he just sees shit different.

I'm real happy this special is generating all these conversations. That's what comedy does best. Make us look at ourselves and question our behaviour.

Yeah, bro, I hear you. He's like the Kung-Fu master who has mastered all of the disciplines and then takes the fighting form to another place. Like you said, Chris Rock knows; Kevin Hart knows. They can see he's just a different; they can see he's a man without a form: he is like water.

Lol......They are straight-up trying to tell people what's funny and not funny, you haven't watched your own video. Watch it, again.

I watched it before posting. You giving your opinion-- "The special was funny"-- is not the same as trying to tell people what's funny and not funny. It's weird to be so defensive and take it as an attempt to enforce opinion when someone disagrees.

Lol.....they fuckin' joke critics now? They're trying to tell us what's funny and not funny.......hilarious. It's weird, these two are almost in an alternate reality. Some Black Mirror/Twilight Zone shit.

Most of the media don’t like his new special since he talks about transgenders and lgbt community.

But you have to realize shit most of the people running Hollywood and the media are homos and faggots.

I thought the MJ shit was more offensive (still funny), but whenever I actually read/listen to any opinion that didn't like the show they focus on the gay jokes. In my opinion the gay jokes were not so bad that anyone should make a big deal out of it.

Dave has had the same style since Killing them Softly but now they are accusing him of doing jokes for shock value. When I think of shock value, it is something that is really not needed or you wouldn't necessarily be interested in the material without. Whether you agreed with Dave's jokes or not they all had a purpose and an underlying message. They only issue people that claim to dislike the show have is he made fun of their values/beliefs. If he would made fun of Trump or people who really do dislike gays there would be no outcry.

Man, what are you talking about? You misquote me and then you assume I'm defensive, it really sounds like you're confused. Where did I only say "The special was funny"? Show me.

It wasn't a quote, it was a representation of your opinion. You cannot misquote when you were not quoting. Did I misrepresent? If not, this was a needless divergence from the main conversation.

My point was that you seem to be among the people who liked the special and see any criticism of it as an affront. You say "the special was funny" and it's cool. Someone else says the special was funny and you say "Hell yeah!" Then someone says "The special was not funny" and your reaction is "How dare you tell me what is and isn't funny!!!" Something seems off about that pattern.

My comment was confined to the Young-Turks video, & I said:

"Lol.....they fuckin' joke critics now? They're trying to tell us what's funny and not funny.......hilarious. It's weird, these two are almost in an alternate reality. Some Black Mirror/Twilight Zone shit."

& you took this comment & you made a broad assumption about me being outraged if anyone in the world doesn't think this special isn't funny. Man, that's illogical. How do you go from me commenting on a video to what everyone in the world thinks? Makes no sense.

You dismissed their views as "almost in an alternate reality," suggesting that your perception was so far removed that they seemed to be broadcasting from The Twilight Zone.

They said what they thought about the special and why. I don't understand how you can turn that into "They're trying to tell us what's funny and not funny."

Am I wrong to say that if their commentary was positive, you would have no problem with "joke critics" expressing their opinions?

Instead of encouraging people to view the special for themselves, they became an arbiter of what's funny and not funny, hence I referenced them as "fuckin' joke critics."

They didn't attempt to discourage at all. Now they have to promote his show or they're arbiters? You're applying some George Bush "with us or against us" shit to comedy.

"Instead of encouraging people to view the special for themselves," what a fucking joke.

Saying what's funny and not funny is a form of discouraging. Again, they were being 'joke critics," there's no more to say.

As a child in the 80s, it was the far right who fucked with entertainment and constantly tried to censor shit. Now it's coming from the extreme left and is worse than it ever was with the family values fools. The extreme left actually has pull in the media and had folks shook to even give positive reviews.

If Chappelle stay Chappelle, his audience will only grow because people sick of this shit but scared to say so publicly. People want to be entertained without being scolded all the damn time.

Hollywood is getting ridiculous with the gay shit. It's in every fucking show. It's statistically impossible to have as much gay shit as they pumping out. They got more representation than Asians and hispanics. How is 1-2 percent of the population on TV way more than 18 percent and 6 percent? And folks say this shit isn't being pushed relentlessly.

This is,why I dont fuck with the young turks..no more...:smh:

Is it me or are these extreme left folks getting worse by the month? They went at Harris over laughing about someone saying 'retarded'. It's funny because I just referenced that 'abelist' bullshit right before her incident.

The list of things that can be laughed at keeps shrinking and that's coming from one side. Extremes either way are never fucking good.

Bill Burr got a special dropping. Hope his shit shocks too.

So cincitystudios was discouraging people from watching the special by saying it was funny and Dave is the greatest?

You're right-- There's nothing left to say.

You're all over the place, your logic doesn't hold together: you bring up cincitystudios? What's the point of that? What does he have to do with the Young Turks?

How do you not see the connection????

"Saying what's funny and not funny is a form of discouraging."

Cincitystudios, like 100 other people in this thread, said the special was funny. By your warped logic, that's a form of discouraging people from watching.

I feel you, bruh. We're living in odd times. Somehow Dave created a cultural demarcation line, it revealed something ~~ I don't know fully what it revealed, but it's like lifting up a concrete slab on the grass & seeing all of the worms. Something ain't right.

Cincitystudios is the equivalent of the Young Turks now?. Man, you're reaching.
