man, one of favs...I watched it a bunch of times, too. Makes me laugh like I'm watching it for the first time every time. Chappelle said he was the most proud of that line when he said "who is suckin' who's tittays" and Eddie broke character and laughed, making what he was drinkin' go through his nose. & Chappelle's fake teeth are hilarious, too.
Check the scene:
Chappelle is the mass produced black comedian. When the joke was on everyone else even Eddie was laughing .
Then came Eddie's turn.

Another point in the scene is Chappelle's physical movement. He put his body in to every punchline. Precise as hell too.
Kevin Hart and Chris Rock said they were writing jokes together then saw Dave on stage. They said they crumpled the paper they wrote their jokes on. They said he just sees shit different.
I'm real happy this special is generating all these conversations. That's what comedy does best. Make us look at ourselves and question our behaviour.

I thought the MJ shit was more offensive (still funny), but whenever I actually read/listen to any opinion that didn't like the show they focus on the gay jokes. In my opinion the gay jokes were not so bad that anyone should make a big deal out of it.
Dave has had the same style since Killing them Softly but now they are accusing him of doing jokes for shock value. When I think of shock value, it is something that is really not needed or you wouldn't necessarily be interested in the material without. Whether you agreed with Dave's jokes or not they all had a purpose and an underlying message. They only issue people that claim to dislike the show have is he made fun of their values/beliefs. If he would made fun of Trump or people who really do dislike gays there would be no outcry.

It wasn't a quote, it was a representation of your opinion. You cannot misquote when you were not quoting. Did I misrepresent? If not, this was a needless divergence from the main conversation.
My point was that you seem to be among the people who liked the special and see any criticism of it as an affront. You say "the special was funny" and it's cool. Someone else says the special was funny and you say "Hell yeah!" Then someone says "The special was not funny" and your reaction is "How dare you tell me what is and isn't funny!!!" Something seems off about that pattern.
