Cam Newton rips NFL refs: 'I don't even feel safe'

its not now. it's been from the beginning lol

once black qb's became a threat the nfl actively made sure to neutralize it.

How?

Step into my office let me school you and everyone else reading just a moment.

When Cam Russell RG3 and Kap took over for their teams something happened. The read option came into the NFL.
Now was the read option new? NO. It had been run in the NFL before but these dynamic BLACK MEN could run it better.
It was a problem that the NFL had to fix.
How did they fix it? They made DIFFERENT RULES for the read option specifically targeting black qb's
Now suddenly if you ran the read option as a QB it didn't matter if you were in the pocket or not a defender could hit you. Lay you out. No matter what.
Now that sounds fishy don't it? You know why? Because those rules weren't set in place for play action passes and bootlegs.. I wonder why?
Explain to me what is the difference between a play action fake, and a fake bootleg roll out pass or naked bootleg other than the people who can successfully run those plays are greater than the read option itself?
Oh that's right NOTHING.
Refs have NEVER protected black Qb on the basis of their skin. I've seen Byron Leftwich, probably the slowest black man in the history of time get cracked upside the head and nobody said anything because "he could still be a runner"
That was happening to Cam his entire career. And it still is now. Also a stigma was attached to running it "All that option read stuff" Meanwhile, Peyton was running it, Brees still runs it, Dalton ran it, Tannehill got 90 million for running it, the formation itself... the pistol.
Real Shit......

Cam is a bitch. And he needs to make up his fucking mind whether he thinks hes treated unfairly or not. Every week this mealy mouthed minstrel is saying something different about the same dam questions. Foh.
yup they prolly like all lives matter huh? hit hum up no sympathy

Cam never said All Lives Matter. But I wanna see BGOL pull against him like them white boys. I wanna see him bring out that inner cac in these dudes. Keep winning Cam, they no like dat!

So you want to see another black man get hurt? Let's separate sports from the other bullshit

You should want to see a black man succeed in a white dominated position period
Blacks are succeeding. It's just the owners don't want to acknowledge it. Think of the NFL as that guy from Iraq who insisted on telling his countrymen that the US was not on their way to Baghdad, because the US was not in the country.

Where the hell is Riverboat Ron? Dude needs to be on his HC pulpit talmbout his QB getting killed out there. Guess dude doesn't want to get fined.

Cam bout to turn a bunch of black men on BGOL into white boys the next few weeks. Amajor, Jasonblacc, etc. These dudes get depressed when Cam wins just like CACs.

i think with cam it's a bit of a "you gone learn today" type moment and not necessarily hate on cam. i mean buddy TECHNICALLY didn't say ALL LIVES MATTER but he insinuated those beliefs and his comments were more in line with that group vs the group screaming BLACK LIVES MATTER. cam in less than a year changed and it was due in large part to counsel from a former Republican strategist brought in by the team to shape his opinion. now that he's out there getting killed with no flag being thrown he sees the reality, and he can't go back to address the elephant in the room (that 1/8th of an inch as he put it) because in saying America is "beyond" racism he pushed that elephant into the hall and forced the door closed as he came back in.

cam is one of the faces of the league. squeaky clean image. never in trouble outside of football. 5+ years in. reigning mvp. conference champion. division champion. college champion. record breaker. nothing like him. and after saying we're "beyond" racism he has to sit back and think to himself "Brady would get these calls...Rodgers,
he'd get these calls...you couldn't dare hit Manning like this....Palmer, Brees, Roethlisberger, they would get these calls...why am i any different than those guys?"

it's too late for him to go back and publicly point to ethnicity/race as the reason because we're "beyond" that, right cam? your words, not mine. so now he's sitting there trying to figure out why he's being treated differently when everybody (including cam) know good and damn well what the reason is.

he's too concerned with his image. he doesn't want to be a hypocrite, so he's choosing to ignore the elephant in the hall kicking and stomping and screaming at his door.

Peace,

It's likkke the cops...
When you know there's no repurcussion for crimes against the blK guy, u get more comfortable over time.

This is exactly what's going on.

A lot of black folks don't realize that they view themselves through the eyes of their oppressors.

Tom Brady patently endorsed Trump. In a predominantly black league, he shouldn't have any knee caps left. These cats have given that piece of shit a pass that I find remarkable, but they want to decapitate Cam for bullshit like dabbing after a score and being arrogant.

I want to see a black man succeed that doesnt tap dance. Im not going to cheer for you, and when you get white acceptance you act like we dont exist no more. A tap dancing coon is more dangerous then a white supremacist. They give those people fighting points when they pull there racist shit. They say even Cam Newton says racism is dead

Cam Newton has had enough.

Following the Carolina Panthers’ 30-20 win against the Arizona Cardinals, the reigning MVP had some choice words about the lack of calls from officials after being hit.

“It’s really taking the fun out of the game for me,” he said in a postgame press conference. “At times I don’t even feel safe. And enough is enough."

Newton said he particularly objected to how officials viewed hits against him while he was in the pocket.

“I don’t think there’s a person that can go through what I go through and still keep their heads,” he said. “Hits to the head, that’s one thing. But when you’re not protected in the pocket, that’s another thing.

“The story of my life ever since I came in is, ‘Oh, oh, well, we missed that one. I’m sorry. I’ll try to get it.’ That’s bullcrap. As player in this league if we do something stupid we get fined. If you do something derogatory to somebody else, we get fined. I just can’t keep accepting, ‘Oh, we missed that one.’ Or ‘I apologize for doing that.’ Or ‘I didn’t see it.’ That’s horsecrap.”
With about seven minutes left in the third quarter, Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell hit Newton below the knees. Newton was visually upset when officials did not call a penalty on the play.

"I'm speechless," Newton said of the no-call on the hit by Campbell. "I could've torn my ACL. That was the breaking point."

Newton said he plans on meeting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell about his complaints with what he sees as officiating inconsistencies.

The league and NFL Players Association conducted investigations after Newton took several hits to the head in the season opener against the Denver Broncos, but was never removed from the game. The joint statement said neither side found any errors with the way things were handled by the team, but did come up with “enhancements” to concussion protocol.

He's 2-5. I give 2 fucks if he wins or loses. I just can't openly root for a man who says we are past racism and blames other black men for his criticism

But you openly root for a CAC that dissed Kap. Ben shitted on him and you looked the other way just like good boy Tomlin.

You also one of the biggest Jordan apologists on the board, so miss me with the "I just cant root for coons" stuff. Closet filled wit shoes that got a safe coons likeness on em.

This is football we talking about not a position that's gonna change folks on a global...

If Cam wants to tap dance so be it he has to look in the mirror everyday but I for sure not gonna wish the dude get hurt in a sport over his beliefs

Jordan didn't say what you think he said. was he quiet and avoiding questions about race, politics, and other hot topics? yes! but he never said "Republicans buy sneakers too" nor did he say black kids dying over his sneakers "wasn't his problem."

No one can point to a direct
quote, a recording, or anything of the sort that proves he said any of that shit.

Again here you go with the bullshit. I didn't look the other way on Ben. I root for the steelers, yes. It's my home team. I don't root for Ben. I root for the steelers and more so because they have black coach. Find one post were I rooted for Ben just 1. I will say he's one of the best QB in the league because it's true. Yes he's a cac but yes he's rapist but I can't take the fact he can play QB better than most of league away from. It took me dam near 10 years to even admit he was good. So miss me with the Ben shit.

Your Jordan argument is bullshit because what cam has openly said in an interview is more harmful than anything you can put in Jordan. Now go find the quote on Jordan and stop taking the medias word for it. I can find that Cam quote real quick for you can you find Jordan's?

Thank you

Theres not a direct quote of Cam saying all lives matter or fuck Kap or i look down on black people. But you say he "insinuated it." Well MJ insinuated his whole career that he isnt black and relates more to rich corporate white men.
Which makes him a safe coon. When kids was getting killed over his sneakers he didnt say anything. When it came to being black for 30 years he never said anything. Dude was a straight up corporate whore that wouldnt even stand behind his teammate Craig Hodges when he asked him to support one of his movements. Ill give him credit that at age 53 he finally admitted he's black. Cam aint never gave money to police and he actually cares about the kids he mentors every summer, he has a real organization that gives back to black kids and families (his food drive is the month). Not no Ronald McDonald/Special Olympics CAC shit MJ was on. If you can and Jasonblacc can look past a widely accepted coon like Jordan's shortcomings you should be willing to look past anybodys.

Cam would never give a mill to police in this climate and brag about how he appreciates the job they do and how they keep him safe.

But he wil say there's no racism in this climate. Gotcha .im out on that note.... oh Wasn't exactly to the police.

mannnnnnn you're reaching now.

cam decided to speak when he could have stayed quiet. and that's something we've all said at one time or another. if you don't know what you're talking about or not as versed on the topic and don't want to be seen as dumb, DON'T SAY SHIT!

Like @largebillsonlyplease said he didn't have to be Kaepernick. leave that to Kaepernick and you do Cam Newton.

and read my original post. i didn't say it was about hating cam. it's strictly about him saying "America is beyond racism" and his whole 1/8th of an inch bullshit.

nobody is saying cam doesn't help the community. you're moving the goal posts. we're talking about what he did and you're trying to tell me who he is. it doesn't work that way.

Not saying shit wasnt an option. He was already being called a coon and traitor. As the best and most high profile black QB he wasnt getting a "no comment" pass after what Kap did.

Part of being Cam Newton is trying to bring people together and appeal to a wide range of people and thats why he came on that kumbaya bullshit. He never said all lives matter, he never excused what happened to Keith L. Scott, he never shitted on Kap. Unfortunately, people who dont like Cam have been using Kap as a smokescreen to openly root against him, while they cheer for the white QB on their team and or give passes to other players who echoed his sentiments (Russell Wilson). I dont agree with the comments he made about race this summer nor did I like his fence riding, but cats gon overboard with the "Cam is the biggest coon" stuff. But hey whatever helps us win.

Why does he think he's not getting the calls? Did he say it was the color of his skin or something else? Calls get missed all the time. If he's not getting any calls are the refs conspiring against him? Is he saying that other qb's get those calls? If so then why would the refs not give him the calls?

I wonder what he thinks the reason is?

Probably the Shaq rule. He's bigger and stronger, so he can take it.

bro...

not saying shit is ALWAYS an option. don't dare try to use that.

and the opinion on cam was golden up until he started dabbin on them folk last year, then it worsened he made those black QB statements. opinions on him didn't change from that point until his gq magazine interview and the espn interview. that's when people went in on him, calling him coon, etc.

again, it's not football related with me and likely with most of us. it's all about his statements in that magazine and that ESPN interview.

like i said in my other post, he can't go back and say it's race related because America is beyond racism
