That statement is a prime example of why I haven't given up on the dude. I remember that quote. Dude was outspoken, and I feel they are 'teaching him a lesson'. They are still paying him back for being outspoken and dabbing, and all of that shit conservative folks hate about the game.
Like I saaid a few months ago, there was obviously a 'buck breaking' session that took place, and it was successful. Only problem is, it seems the refs have their own little vendettas against him now.
Just remember, at the end of the day, this is the REALITY of a black QB. The system break many of our people down, and we throw 'em away, too.
Oh, well.
Nothing I can do.
its not now. it's been from the beginning lol
once black qb's became a threat the nfl actively made sure to neutralize it.
How?
Step into my office let me school you and everyone else reading just a moment.
When Cam Russell RG3 and Kap took over for their teams something happened. The read option came into the NFL.
Now was the read option new? NO. It had been run in the NFL before but these dynamic BLACK MEN could run it better.
It was a problem that the NFL had to fix.
How did they fix it? They made DIFFERENT RULES for the read option specifically targeting black qb's
Now suddenly if you ran the read option as a QB it didn't matter if you were in the pocket or not a defender could hit you. Lay you out. No matter what.
Now that sounds fishy don't it? You know why? Because those rules weren't set in place for play action passes and bootlegs.. I wonder why?
Explain to me what is the difference between a play action fake, and a fake bootleg roll out pass or naked bootleg other than the number of people who can successfully run those plays are greater than the read option itself?
Oh that's right NOTHING.
Refs have NEVER protected black Qb on the basis of their skin. I've seen Byron Leftwich, probably the slowest black man in the history of time get cracked upside the head and nobody said anything because "he could still be a runner"
That was happening to Cam his entire career. And it still is now. Also a stigma was attached to running it "All that option read stuff" Meanwhile, Peyton was running it, Brees still runs it, Dalton ran it, Tannehill got 90 million for running it, the formation itself... the pistol.
