Upgrade you probably know the Arrow Mythos better than I do, answer me this:
Is the Dark Archer that much better than Green Arrow? So far dude has been beating his ass.
judging from the show, it appears that Dark Archer has been doing this longer than Green Arrow.
I'm Marvel guy but from what I've seen Merlyn the Archer is supposed to be better than Green Arrow. Whenthegoinggetstuff or J Storm might be more familiar with DC continuity.
In the comics Merlyn the black archer had been doing this longer. He was actually the inspiration for Green Arrow becoming an archer (before being a superhero) Of course they've likely redone that story with Green Arrow year one and New 52. But they were fairly equal in the books from my how I recall.
Finale is next week and Felicity could get it
Very very nice last episode(Was it the season finale?).Green Arrow needs to work on his skill set he keeps getting his ass whopped or is it the other guy is just that much better? Also, I'm starting to get something real hard for Felicity Smoaks
I didn't see it myself but this week when her and Oliver were standing on that elevator and she had on those tight ass jeans, ol Felicity had something going on.
It's going down with Tommy. He cant be the Dark Archer but I don't think Oliver's secret is long for this world.
I've never seen Colin Donnell in anything before but he's a very good actor. He conveys emotions like betrayal very well.

Ollie was kind of a dick, he's gonna go give tommy a little pep talk about Laurel(although it was a distraction) then fuck her when dude just got off work to go see her after realizing his mistake from said pep talk.
I had a few thoughts I wanted to get out now that you and others have done watching the episode.
SPOILERS BELOW:
1) The whole Laurel love triangle clearly is being used as a plot device to drive Ollie and his friend apart. If it wasn't apparent before? Now that Ollie has slept with her while Tommy watch, has certainly put the final nail towards a downward spiral regarding their relationship. BOTTOMLINE: NO bros before hoes here(Bullshit and sad)
2) They are going to have to kill of Tommys father(The Dark Archer) which sucks because I think he plays the role very well. This story line reminds me of Lionel Luther having the lime-light then killed off so that Lex Luther, in our particular cast Tommy can assume the mantle of the Dark Archer.
Q: How the fuck can "Tommy" possibly compete with Green Arrow? I hope they aren't going to spin his father taught him Archery in a few months now he can hang with GA
3) Is Ollie sisters boyfriend(The guy trying to find the GA so he can learn from him) going to be the Red Arrow?
4) Speaking of Felicity Smoak(I wanna fuck that white girl) is she suppose to be Oracle?

Ollies actions arent making any sense to me. Oliver is basically a serial killer like dexter with bows and arrows. He tells tommy his secret which will get his ass life in prison or death sentence possibly. So in the same day he decides to fuck dudes girl and murder his father. What wouldve happened if he actually murdered tommys father, would he then go murder tommy as well to stop him from telling the police who he is? Cause its not like the police arent gonna tell Tommy his father was murdered by the vigilante.
John Barrowman even though he is playing Tommy's father is not that old - just over 40.
Microsoft has that product placement deal going on though we know in reality - Felicity would run from Windows 8 and be working with Linux instead
Just because they've shown how hard it is to be a better-than-elite archer, I don't see how they can have Tommy take his father's place. I'm thinking he has to become a different villain in GA's rogue's gallery (one I can't name because I don't know any but Merlyn).
I can see them working Roy into Oliver's sidekick.
I see the Oracle similarity but that's it. It's a convenient way to get around some of the things Oliver will need to do. Unlike Bruce Wayne, he's not absolutely perfect: best fighter, best weapons, genius computer hack, genius chemist.
Well, he did tell Tommy under duress, he didn't plan on it. But what he would do next if he kills Merlyn is a good question.

They could have thought of a better way to make him hate Ollie especially since he aint an Archer..better not try to do some Green Goblin he has a split personality and becomes like his father/Dark Archer garbage either.
But overall I never expected this show to be THIS good.

That would take some explaining. It was her first husband who was with Merlyn Sr in the Undertaking and the whole conspiracy. But we'll see.
first thing I thought about was the Toby McGuire Spider-Man plot where Peter kills Norman Osborne and Harry seeks revenge for the next 2 movies. Tommy's dad probably dies in the season finale and of course he will blame Ollie for his death, on top of that stealing his girlfriend. Next season's main plot will be tommy plotting his revenge...
Well that wasn't a cliche ending, the villian won.

Dam! This shit was hot tonight. Ollie lost his best friend too. I wonder how the hell they are gonna keep this show going from this point on next season.
Then you've clearly never watched Smallvile if you think this compares. I was very entertained with Arrows season finale. I don't care what anybody says about the Dark Archer, Ol boy needs his own TV Show very very beastly!
Sidenote: They should have never restarted the Laurel and Ollie relationship. Got-damn waste of time. Damn shame Sweet Felicoty was down in there all by her-self
