49ers

did he really do that
or did he do that like kap was under investigation for sexual assault?

on niners nation there is a brief detail of the alleged account that reads like they "randomly selected him" to go through the extra tsa bullshit and he said "yea cause i really have a bomb" and then of course they called the cops etc.

we'll see.

I was quoting the article on NFL.com, not stating my opinion
Another quote from NinersNation...

According to a witness, trouble began brewing earlier at the Southwest Airlines ticket counter. Following an argument there, a ticket agent said that Smith would not be allowed on the plane. After going through security, the witness said Smith was approached by TSA personnel. He advanced toward his gate where he was taken into custody by five officers. A video of the incident shows an officer bringing a police dog into the vicinity of the gate as Smith is being led away in handcuffs.

That's what they are supposed to do at an airport when someone mentions something about a bomb !!!
Bottom line is he should not have said that bullshit at all, in a damn AIRPORT, joking or not joking !!!

Another quote:
Smith has been booked on one count of "false report of a bomb threat."
If convicted, Smith faces up to one year behind bars.

Multiple law enforcement sources tell TMZ Sports ... Aldon appeared to be drunk at the time of the incident

i wasn't asking you personally i was just opening the question up in response to the quote

see how quickly him "yelling bomb" sounds like that didn't happen at all? just that fast?

see how tmz does it?

and watch how people are going to tell him he put himself in a bad situation taking an airplane he should be taking a private jet with detailed security
wait then they'll say he's wasting his money he should fly commercial
wait maybe he should get a van and drive everywhere he wants to go that's the only way he's not putting himself into a bad situation
wait
maybe he should just sit home and practice karate and wait until its time to play football again

at this point we can't believe anything reported about us.

In the wake of the seemingly wild incident involving multiple hit-and-runs, a source says it was Chris Culliver himself who phoned authorities.

On March 28th, San Francisco 49ers cornerback Chris Culliver was allegedly involved in a pair of hit-and-runs which happened back to back in San Jose. Culliver allegedly struck a bicyclist, then fled the scene before hitting a vehicle and attempting to leave that scene as well. When police arrived they discovered he had in his possession a weapon commonly known as "brass knuckles", which carries a felony charge itself.

Early-on there were reports that Culliver was actually brandishing the weapon, allegedly threatening someone who was trying to prevent his escape from the second scene. The whole thing paints a picture of Culliver that I'm sure none of us want to be true.

Well perhaps he's not so bad after all. I've been told by a source not connected with the team, but familiar with the situation, that it was actually Culliver who called the police after the events that day. It appears as though he panicked after striking the cyclist and took off, then after he struck the vehicle and realized what he was doing, he stopped and essentially turned himself in.

I'm also told that the reports of Culliver threatening witnesses with the brass knuckles are not true. The police did not charge him with anything related to a threat of violence, either, though charges can always be added later-on as the investigation continues.

This certainly doesn't excuse his previous actions, but if true it may help his image at least a little bit, in that he realized what he did was wrong and owned up to it. From what I'm told, Culliver is not a "thug" type, rather young-and-dumb, so to speak.

That's retarded. seahawks games should be spaced out more so i don't care if 1 is on thanksgiving the other shouldn't be 2 weeks later.

I just took a look at the schedule.....

Cons
1. We have the Cowboys, Bears, & Cards right off the top.
Whatever CB we draft BETTER be ready to go from day #1.
Brock & Cully BETTER be ready day #1 also, b/c these first few teams are very pass happy!
2. LOL @ us playing the Saints in N.O. again.
3. Also LOL @ us playing the Cards for the last game again.
4. LOL @ the 2 home, 2 away pattern

Pros
1. All three of our division opponents have their bye weeks in week 4, while ours is week 8.
2. Our last 6 regular season games are all here on the west coast...not much going across country travel. Benefit for our players.
3. If Aldon Smith is out for a lengthy 6-8 game suspension, then we will have him back for BOTH Seahawks games.
4. We should have a fresh, fully recovered, mad as hell, Navarro Bowman back by thanksgiving for BOTH Seahawks games.
5. The week between Seattle games they're traveling to AZ to play a very bruising divisional opponent, while we're taking a bus across the bay to play the Raiders.
6. Most of our games are late games (4:15pm eastern).
Our team usually starts slow & is still "sleeping" for those early (1:00pm eastern) games.

For the most part, the schedule is favorable for us, especially since we don't really know which teams will be good or bad in the NFL.

:cool::cool::cool:

It's like an idiot wrote the schedule. 2 games at home, 2 on the road. End with Arizona AGAIN... WTF?

The Broncos last 6 of 9 games is on the road.....this is the fourth year in the row, that our schedule is like that....makes no sense at all...

Hell,we have our bye week in Week 4...half of our dayum defense was on IR last season...I would thought we have our bye week around week 7 or 8....that's too early....

Im shocked our games against the Patriots and Seahawks isn't a prime time game though.....

I don't want to hear anyone in the AFC say our schedule was easy

LET"S GO 49ERS!!...

Falcons wanna move out of #6 , we wanna move up.... I think this Sammy thing is becoming a reality as long as the Rams take a Tackle and Cleveland goes Qb

Also you have to worry about the Raiders fucking shit up, the one thing about these perennial losers, they stay bad due to their crazy ass drafting. But Watkins would look real nice in red and gold..

we have the picks, and we can still salvage the draft easily by getting the #6 pick taking the best wr there whoever it is, watkins evans or benjamin and then getting a top safety in the 2nd round followed by some cb and ol depth then we're in good shape.

Come on y'all...
Now you know Trent Baalke doesn't have the balls to jump up that far for Sammy Watkins.
Y'all talking about a Julio Jones type of trade/jump.
We're not giving up that many draft picks, because we didn't do anything during free agency.
We still need to fill about 5-6 more spots.
We need those 2nd rd picks.

The writing is already on the wall.
We signed Brandon Lloyd for insurance, if Crabs/Boldin get hurt, or our rookie doesn't pan out fast enough.
Just like last year...
We jump up to spots 15-20.... we grab a CB.
We jump again in the 2nd rd and grab a WR.

There is a lot of truth to what you say, it has been our strategy over the years to follow the blueprint laid out by teams like the Steelers and the Ravens by emphasizing quantity over quality.. We have a core of really good talent, but instead of focus our spending on a few chips, we tend to spread the wealth around as a unit..
This strategy has worked up until now, however we are so close to greatness I say now is the time to be bold and grab the bull by the horns and go for it.
Good teams do what it do until they get good at it, great teams become good then do what ever it takes to become great and stay great!!!

This will be the best opportunity because we have a lot of picks this draft and we'll have a lot next draft. package a 1 a 2 and a 4 and that should be enough. we still have the rest of our 2's and 3's

Basically....

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...rested-in-lsus-beckham-likely-mid-1st-rounder

That seems more like a move they would make.

Okay fellas, the draft is only a few days away
So, who ya got?
Make your predictions for our 1st round pick

Wide Receivers
Sammy Watkins (keep dreaming) ;)
Mike Evans
Odell Beckham Jr
Brandon Cooks
Other WR?

Corners
Darqueze Dennard
Justin Gilbert
Kyle Fuller
Jason Verrett
Bradley Roby
Other CB?

:idea::idea::idea:

Okay here we go....
This is not who I want, but who I think Baalke is gonna draft

The last few years we've picked players that have not been talked about, kinda off the radar for us
Going with the same thinking.... we will NOT be picking Odell Beckham :(

I think Baalke goes conservative b/c of the AJ Jenkins pick
He will go CB in the 1st, then WR in the 2nd

1. We trade up (right before the Steelers) to grab...
Darqueze Dennard

2. We trade up again to the early/mid 2nd rd to grab...
Cody Latimer or Jordan Matthews

:shades::shades::shades:

probably accurate but i have a feeling we're going to make a splash like last year. move up and get one of the marquee guys.. now it might not be a wr but its gonna be an impact player.

everything else in the draft is gonna be typical. get some good value, trade out some picks and get picks in next years draft to stack

Bottom line we gotta trade the fuck UP... If we sit there at 30 there better be some killers who slipped through the cracks.. Which I certainly doubt in this years draft...Trent fucked off the Josh Gordon deal hoarding these picks so hopefully he can redeem himself here... If we go Dennard, Verrett, Roby then we can go 2nd tier WR (moncrief ,Latimer,Allen) in the 2nd round... But honestly man the time is NOW to man the fuck up, jump up into that top 10 and get either Watkins , Evans or Beckham Jr. :itsawrap:

Totally Agree. Get that stud at the top. we always find value in the later rounds so we can pull it off. We're stacked. we get that 1 thing and get us a couple db's?

let's do that shit. time is now
