there's no excuses now

I was just listing the receiving core first. Left out my boy Patton also. In his second year he should improve nicely. The receiving core is the shit.

As for Roman not using players - I think we'll all be lined up waiting to kick his ass if he can't get them the ball.

no excuses. keep in mind we still have fucking lmj hunter now lattimore macondald year 2

there's NO REASON to not light people the fuck up

If Richard Sherman wasn't in the NFC the niners would be my squad in the NFC.

I always keep an eye on them though..... Love that coach n his intensity

Johnson also used to consistently beat Darrel Revis. Dude can flat out get open.

In other news, Josh Gordon facing a suspension. WOW!

I'm pretty sure the 49ers wanted Odell Beckham !!!
Leading up to the draft, Baalke was calling different teams, to be possible trade partners.
You know damn well they were not trying to jump up for Jimmie Ward !!!
We didn't get Beckham for some reason or another (no trading partners or to high a jump up).

Plan A was probably, jump up to the mid 1st round & snatch Beckham.
Then jump up to the mid/early 2nd round & snatch Jimmie Ward.

Plan B was stay put & grab Jimmie Ward.
For some reason they wanted Ward over Dennard or Verrett :smh:
We lucked up getting Stevie Johnson, for a conditional 4th possible 3rd pick
If the Bills would not have traded up to snatch Sammy Watkins, we might not have gotten Stevie Johnson.... or at least not as cheap

Stevie is a solid WR.... when healthy!
I know hes had an ongoing groin issue the past few years
He gets separation with his route running
I still think we need 1 more take the top off speed WR to groom, in this draft
I think this might be the end of Crabtree.
I doubt we're gonna pay Johnson, Boldin, & Crabs $6 million a piece.

Seems like Trent Baalke is in "Superbowl or bust" mode !!!
We will see what happens the next couple of days.

:cool::cool::cool:

I think we would have jumped up to get Beckham if he slid into the teens. When the Giants snatched him that ruined that idea.

We still had a need at corner and there were good guys out there. No need to trade up though. Just let the chips fall.

Stevie bounces back and is healthy this season we're good. The good thing is he doesn't have to be on the field for every play like he was in Buffalo. So that will help.

I agree with needing a burner still, but you have 3 guys who can get open and make big plays. They won't flat out burn you but they make you worry.

With the draft Baalke mentioned he was trying to move up but the prices were too steep, this draft is deep and we have so many picks in it im sure people wanted the picks we have today to move up.

the bills moving up made the stevie thing possible. so we can thank them for that. i still think we take a burner, we need one but our wr core and our db core is fucking awesome right now.

i think we go wr and db and then line help with the 5 picks today and then trade the rest of our draft picks we can trade for next year picks.

as far as denard he's just been described as solid.
verrett is even smaller than ward and has durability issues.
ward ran a 4.4 with a bad foot and when you look at the video i just showed, that looks like a 49er right there.

I believe Buffalo ruined the trade market when they paid a lot to move up. Teams were looking to rack up after that.

well we need a burner just to create the space to let the other guys operate. but we have 3 guys who can beat press man coverage consistently. that is the key.

our team is physical you have to play physical at every position. our wr's block they handle press coverage and all of that.

It's on Kap now, he has to take Crabtree's dick out of his booty and spread the ball. Please gel with V.D., he is the best weapon we have. Lack of weapons is no excuse now, we'll see if he can make it happen. I think we should continue to focus on our secondary in the draft. I'll wait and see what Ward can do, but I think that the safety that the Cards picked up would have been perfect for us to set the physical tone in the secondary that we are now missing without Hitner.

It's 40% on Kap 60% on Roman. Roman is notorious for NOT using the players we have. Neither of them have any excuses. We have the personnel to run any type of offense and the playbook to run any type of offense in the nfl from series to series.

Dennard is solid & VERY fundamentally sound
Dennard could have been Cully's replacement
Verrett is about the same size as Ward
Verrett would have made a better slot/nickel CB than Ward....if ONLY nickel CB is what they wanted

The point is that, the 49ers organization just already said Ward will START as a nickel CB.
But they want to move him to Free Safety in a few more years, after Bethea gets older.
If Ward is good enough, I'm thinking the 49ers could occasionally do a single high safety look, like how Seattle uses Earl Thomas.

Again.... we will see

That's exactly right though, I didn't know much about him but after watching all of his tape and hearing him speak? This dude has got it.. i feel the same way i felt when we took reid.

They keep talking about his intelligence which is key for me because we have one of the best defensive staffs in the nfl.

the knocks on him are the same as reid. which is 100% coaching. i like the move way more than verrett and denard now.

denard might be the corner to replace cully, but we would've had to sacrifice some picks to get him. we can still draft that guy today.

we got a starter who is going to go to nickel.. really the most important position now a days and then go to safety already having experience playing in the system and on the field experience.

there are so many studs we need to go burner wr then go nice ass db and then from there fill in the lines.

Dammit !!! :angry:
Now I have to eat crow & backtrack, from all the shit talking about Baalke not getting Josh Gordon !!! :angry:

Even if he was suspended as a 49er...
Josh Gordon would have helped us beat Seattle in this past playoffs & get ring #6
I'll still keep talking shit until Baalke/Harbaugh bring us that trophy

:hmm::hmm::hmm:

No harm no foul. I was telling you curt, the price was just too steep. we would be mad as fuck right now and ain't no guarantee we would have a ring lol.

but we got johnson and bout to get some more wr help and db help so hopefully we can rest knowing we're going to be good to go

Me too :lol: :lol: :lol: LargeBillsOnly was right :lol: :lol:

We have a lot of picks
I assume Baalke trades up round 2 or 3

Maybe Justin Smith's replacement? Stephon Tuitt?
Or that WR I liked? Cody Latimer?
Or another CB to replace Culliver?

What about O-linemen?
How much faith do they have in Danny KillGore to play Center?
Do we slide Johnathan Martin to Guard?
We still need a swing tackle

:cool::cool::cool:

I do wants a burner on offense. Someone who can really stretch the defense. We've been missing it.

I saw Jimmy Ward cover Dri Archer who ran a 4.26 fourty at the combine and he was with him stride for stride. I have no problem with Ward in the slot if he is chosen.

he is, go to the 49er website and look at his press conference. love this guy man.

What did we trade the 2nd round pick for? I can only guess that Baalke picked up a couple 2015 picks. That's his M.O.

yup.
we went back, picked up 2 picks and a pick next year.

then used the 2 picks this year to move back up.

so we got 3 and spent 2 so gained 1 and didn't lose the rest of our picks tonight in this deep draft

Trent Baalke is going batshit crazy full RETARD with these trades man
:smh::smh::smh:

He just traded BACK again, to the 3rd round
:hmm::hmm::hmm:

We missed out on some good talent, trying to be too cute
Both WR's Cody Latimer & Allen Robinson are big explosive receivers
Jean Baptiste is a solid corner to groom & take over for Cully

Not sure what the hell Baalke is doing right now ???
Sooooo we picked LaMicheal in the 2nd round, back in 2012.... and basically did nothing with him ???

:hmm::hmm::hmm:

Basically nothing with him at all and that is on Roman. The moment we don't use some of these pieces roman should be fired PERIOD we are too stacked there are no excuses or limitations to be had. unleash all year.

we'll see if we make this next pick or not. if we don't im turning the draft off im not wasting my time watching us trade back out of the prime picks in this year's draft

I was wondering if we would bring in someone to compete with KillGore at Center
With the D-line that the Rams are building..... we need some studs up front
Hopefully, we can get a backup O-line tackle & corner with our next few picks
