49ers

The thing that everyone seems to not talk about is that although we run the read-option. It's the focal point of our offense. We're so much more than the read-option.

So if teams want to focus on stopping the read-option let them. We'll just line up traditionally and score.

which is what is going to happen 1st game when the packers are determined to not let Kap run. and then he'll end up picking them apart in the pocket.. and our running game will as well.. while if they play man to man he'll still scramble and run like he does more than anything else.

The Packers signed Scott Tolzien to their practice squad.

Mofos took a page from Pete Carroll's play book. This shows they are scared of us.

exactly

tolzien ain't know the offense or he would have played better anyway

we did amazing but the thing that saved us was injuries. tank, dial, crab, manningham those spots would have made us release a few people. i think as they become healthy others will go to the practice squad. we have wr depth... like i been saying all along. just because people don't know them doesn't mean they aren't good.

we kept all those safeties because they're going to help out our special teams a lot

sorry to see jennings go... but he went out the right way

also the only reason we let him go was because the current guy is a talent just like jennings was, but just 13 years younger.

wasn't about money.

also seneca wallace is a bitch... he saw he couldn't make the team so he tries to say we brought him in just to make colt take a paycut.

no

you saw bj daniels was going to whip your ass so you bowed out and didn't even make the trip...and told the coach on game day that you weren't

ill have lots more info later

oh also ray lewis said that it was a conspiracy on why the lights went off. said that they were going to beat us too bad so someone pulled the plug to help the 49ers out.

and he said it with a straight face

yup nvm we just got through doing the same exact thing against the falcons. got blitzed, made adjustments, shut them down.

we didn't even score after the black out we punted the ball right back to the ravens...where they could have gone down the field and put the nail in the coffin. how we find mojo and they lose it?

not to mention the kickoff that was clear holding which was the difference in the game beside the blatant illegal contact and pass interference.

i had let all of that go because its over. but if he's gonna say that crap.. im gonna point out everything else including his deer antler spray

Seems like every year the team makes 1 or 2 head scratching moves.
Last off season we let Blake Constanzo go & also traded Colin Jones to the Panthers for a 7th rd pick.
Remember the "Tony Montana" special teams squad in 2011?
Constanzo & Jones were a major part of our special teams success in 2011.

Seems like the team is putting a major emphasis on special teams this year, cause it was crap last year.
I guess Harbaugh is like "If you are not a starter, then you better help on special teams... or get traded/cut".
I hope the Cam Johnson & Paris Haralson move does not bite them in the ass later this year.

:smh::smh::smh:

it won't bite us later in the year because even with their loss we still have crazy depth and then you have to remember we have tank and dial coming back.

linebackers weren't our problem it was interior line and we've addressed that 7 times over. as well as our db's and our wr depth is great too.

we just need to game plan correctly.

and we need to make sure we get in and out of the huddles, which has been good so far this preseason.

also have to make sure we score td's in the red zone

all that's more important than linebacker depth. brooks, bowman, willis didn't get tired and smith played with 1 arm the last part of the season and playoffs.

i didn't remember who it was

and i don't get that at all. why are we trading players to people that we play

it makes no sense.

arrogance

these!!!

Im not one to question HarBalke but damn :smh:
sometimes the best moves are the ones you dont make.

Now we stacking 7th rd picks like they roll over to 5th or 6th rds lol.

I know Cam beasted against scubs yadayada but he was only in his 2nd year, guy , finally showed promise!

Im guessing they LOVED this former Seattle WR before the draft and couldnt believe that he was available. He makes 6 active WR on the 53..

don't know if i buy it. it stinks @ the wr

Am I the only one who is fuming fucking angry that BITCHASS Mike McCarthy and the Packers signed BOTH Tolzein and Wallace to steal our offense days before this matchup!!???   Not to mention Wallace said he was gonna retire, meaning he got some under the table incentive from GB to sign, meaning you KNOW he's there to give these bitches the upperhand on our scheme and signals and calls :smh:  :smh:

Tolzein obviously couldn't pick up the offense

and seneca was there for 3 days, i probably know more about the offense than he does.

the only thing we have to change is language on calls and checks and that's it.

we'll just run the ball on them, packers have been gearing up for the pistol, 49ers didn't get their game plans until today.

The more pertinent talking points from the four-time Pro Bowler: “One of the things that the referees have told us is that when these quarterbacks carry out the fakes, they lose their right as a quarterback, a pocket-passing quarterback, the protection of a quarterback,” Matthews said on the air. “So with that, you do have to take your shots on the quarterback, and obviously they’re too important to their offense.

“If that means they pull them out of that type of offense and make them run a traditional, drop-back, pocket-style offense, I think that’s exactly what we’re going for. So you want to put hits as early and often on the quarterback and make them uncomfortable.”

Our Qb

On a personal note, there was a lady who scored four goals for team USA's soccer team last night, Sydney Leroux. There was a report that said you guys were dating.

"What's your question?"

My question is were you watching? Is she your girlfriend?

"Not my girlfriend. I didn't see the game. I was working."

Any thoughts on this being the last year at Candlestick?

"Have to end it right."

Just watched that interview where they asking Colin all those stupid ass questions  , He aint gonna be a media favorite, dude is Focused.. I can't lie im so hype/nervous for this game.. believe it or not we're going to surprise some people

the defense is going to play elite and the offense will too...entire season.

after these first 2 games they're going to be saying got damn we didn't think they'd be THIS good

taking it extra slow so that he's 1000%

he's been with the team working out and rehabbing his leg injury.

basically going to have a red shirt year

Hope nothing but the best for him..

What's up with Jim Harbaugh complaining about the rules on read option quarterbacks, this rule been in the books for years and yet he's complaining about it..

Everybody knows that if you hit a running quarterback it will make a coach think twice about running their quarterback and yet he's complaining about it...

He's making it sound like teams are going to target Kaepernick when its not the case..I don't see Shannahan,Pete Carroll and other coaches with running quarterbacks complaining about the rule...

I like Jim Harbaugh, even when was a quarterback in the league,he should know this rule isn't new to him, especially when he was a running quarterback himself...:smh::smh::smh::smh:

Am I missing something....

yes you are

the entire difference is the defensive players are going to hit the quarterbacks whether they have the ball or not.

that's the difference.

that's what targeting is, not the plays where he has the ball

not the plays where he's in the pocket and gets sacked

we're talking about the plays where he clearly hands the ball off, and he doesn't have the ball, and the defender coming in and lighting him up with no penalty.

imagine peyton manning handing the ball off to moreno and after he hands the ball off clearly suggs or dumervil came in and took a shot and wiped him out last night.. it wouldn't be what's the big deal... it would be...he's the qb... he handed the ball off, and they hit him and didn't get a penalty...

you can't even take 2 steps and hit the qb once he throws it but if he runs the read option and hands it off, you can still come in well after the play is away from the qb and he's no longer a part of it and hit him like he's a runner?

:confused::confused:
