49ers

we need a big drive and a touch down here to take the lead into the half and then from there get the ball and score another touch down. defense is doing a good job.

Another week and another one of our defenders go down. Patrick Willis missed the rest of the game with a groin injury. Hopefully he won't be out for to long.

This is some Bullshit!!!..:angry::angry:

Let's go 49ers..we need to get our head our asses and go back playin 49ers!!..:angry:

FUCK!!!...:angry::angry:

^^^Chill Blackman.. It's only week 3. Things aren't as bad as the scores are reflecting.

These past 2 games comes down to play calling. You hear me, LargeBill and CurtDawg going nuts over it. We've gone away from our identity and it's costing us.

gonna cost us everything with them being arrogant and i can't respect that.

jim always talk about humble this and that.

the defense is playing excellent

people been trying to scape goat nnamdi but he's been excellent

reid has been excellent

our pass rush can be better
but we get bogus calls on us every game.

now

offensively gore had 62 in the 1st quarter why in the fuck do you not run the ball with him.

there's no excuse.

Looks like Aldon is suspended indefinitely. Hello Corey Lemonier.

Peter King just announced Aldon is going into a rehab facility to get help.

So it's looking like they are putting this on Aldon. Saying HE is taking a leave of absence. Thus it's not a suspension by the team or league.

The average length for a person to stay in rehab is 28 days. Not sure how long Aldon will stay in there for.

Yes this is only week #3, but I would not say "chill"
We have multiple issues & serious problems on our hands....

1)We really need to do something about Greg Roman. Playcalling is a HUGE reason why our offense is stinking up the place. I don't know if we will fire him or what, but something definitely needs to change.

2)Outside of Boldin (& Vernon Davis), our pass catchers are crap. I said this before the season started but people on here were like "don't worry, someone will step up". More specifically, we really don't have a deep threat that demands a double team. Defenses are single covering our WR's & crowding the line to play the run.

3)Injuries are starting to add up. Crabtree, Manningham, LaMichael James, Ian Williams, Patrick Willis, Vernon Davis, etc. People keep saying wait for Manningham. We can't depend on him. That was a very bad injury & he might not ever be the same. On top of that, Manningham is not even a #1 or #2 WR really.

4)We are playing sloppy undisciplined football. Way too many penalties & missed tackles. That's not like us at all.

5)Off the field issues with Aldon Smith. We are already struggling as it is. Now we have to worry about losing our best pass rusher possibly for a few games b/c of his drinking problem. I just heard that Aldon cleared out his locker, & he might go into some rehab program. And don't say "Correy will step up" b/c we don't know how effective he will be yet. Also you said the same thing about our WR's!

6)As much as I hate to type this but.... Kaep is part of the problem also. Granted, a small part but still he deserves some blame too. He hesitates a little too much & his throws are not always accurate. Also I still notice him throwing the ball too hard, even on short passes. Dude throws 100+ mph every time, trying to squeeze it into tight coverage.

7)We have a short week coming up. We play the Rams on Thursday. We could be possibly looking at a 1-3 start. We are a better team than that but.... We couldnt beat the Colts at home, now we have to go on the road & try to beat the Rams. Rams have a better defense than the Colts, btw.

8)Another issue is the Seahawks! We are trying to win the division to get home field advantage. That might not even happen if we lose any of our next two games. We might be looking at a wild card spot & having to play the Seahawks in Seattle during the playoffs. This scenario would not be good at all. We just don't play well against them in Seattle. And before you say "we will have Crabtree back". Well they will have Browner, Clemmons, Irvin & Percy Harvin back also!

I'm not pushing the panic button yet, but just keeping it real. We have a bunch of problems to fix & a short amount of time to do it.

:smh::smh::smh:

our only problem is offense.

the defense has been excellent in both games.

and the refs flag them for complete bullshit. not even being undisciplined but complete bullshit calls. like right out of the gate

once again nnamdi had a good game

once again reid did too

whitner not so much in coverage

brown was horrible

rogers continues to get torched but people only want to pick on nnamdi

pass rush needs to improve

run defense is fine. teams are running it 40 times a game on us. because our offense isn't putting up points. our defense is holding better than any defense would with that many rush attempts.

kyle williams needs to be cut period.

patton needs to get integrated into the offense.

we didn't go to him
and didn't go to mcdonald nearly enough.

no creative routes

but above all we didn't run the ball. that's the problem

kap looks bad because there is nobody open period.

they will call him out for few yards

but luck had 164 yards and no td's

and the last int was a fluke.

i'll let the article do the talking

Frank Gore was one of the few 49ers who played well in today’s loss to the Colts, running 11 times for 82 yards and catching two passes for 21 yards. Which leads to the question: Why did Gore only get 13 touches?

:idea::idea:

Man we look awful. :smh:

offensively

yet another week we didn't use the weapons we have. its tallying up.

what did we say in here last week? run the ball.. use all the weapons...

what did we do this week? the opposite.

teams have the game plan for the opposite 49ers but there's nothing they can do with the real team.

82 yards in the 1st quarter rushing alone

we should have ran for 400 yards today

C/S..we need to go back playin 49ers offense..run the damn ball!!..

let's go 49ers!!!..

Alex in KC lookin like a stud and our offense stuck in the mud.. we look like a poorly coached college team on offense.. pathetic

...and why do I keep reading about how well our defense is playing.. We're getting ran all over and giving up a ton of points every week

Look inside the numbers homie.

Through 3 quarters last week we gave up 12 points. This week it was 13 points. The offensive meltdowns (turnovers, 3 and outs, etc.) has led to easy points.

The Ian Williams injury was huge. We don't have a true Nose Tackle currently. Last week we lost Reid & McDonald to injury. This week it was the Willis injury. You can see how we had trouble with the run game late.

The fucking refs are a joke. We were called for 5 penalties that gave the Colts 1st downs when they should have punted. We received 0 such calls. The worst was them calling Rogers for holding, which he didn't, and then on the Bradshaw run you see the Colts WR grab and pull Mr. Washington's jersey with 2 hands and no flag came out.

Running a sweep with slow ass Dixon?
Do I need to say anymore about our playcalling by Roman & Harbaugh?

kc offense is looking ok.

our offense is looking horrible because of everything mentioned about usage of personnel

no we're not. they're running at VOLUME

look at the yards per carry... well better than that look at the game.. how many big runs were there... 3? were there LONG td runs? no.. just looked like every play was a run for the entire game.. cause that's true the past 2 weeks.

and then they get cosmetic td's in the 4th quarter and the score looks out of hand.

going into the 4th quarter seattle had 12 points and we had the ball. defense had done its job.. seattle with 12 in seattle?

the colts had 13 points in the 4th quarter.... our defense did it's job.

if the offense sustains a drive if the offense puts points on the board... our defense isn't tired

and our defense doesn't even give up points..

you hold teams to 12 and 13 points going into the 4th they should be down by 3 touch downs and have to pass which plays into our hands..

there's no reason dixon should even be on the team.

he's on for locker room morale

with hunter looking as good as he is and gore as good as he was

you run a sweep with dixon

gore got 0 touches in the 4th quarter

remember the game was 13-7

1 drive and a td and we're winning..

Let's look at the running numbers by Quarter. *COLIN ALERT* I'm talking about Powell of course, not Kaepernick.

1st Quarter
Power Runs: 5 Yards: 62 Avg: 12.4
Read-Option: 1 Yards: 5 Avg: 5.0
Pitch: 2 Yards: -1
Draw: 1 Yards: 13

2nd Quarter
Power Runs: 3 Yards: 8 Avg: 2.6
Read-Option: 0 Yards: 0 Avg: 0
Pitch: 1 Yards: -1
Draw: 0 Yards: 0

3rd Quarter
Power Runs: 2 Yards: 12 Avg: 6.0
Read-Option: 2 Yards: -5
Pitch: 0 Yards: 0
Draw: 1 Yards: 2

4th Quarter = No runs

A few of the homies and myself have been harping on getting back to the power run game. Just line up and put the ball in Frank's belly. For this game we ran 10 power runs for 82 yards (8.2 yard average). Which of course raises the question of why in the fuck did we only run 10 power run plays???

If you look at the 3rd Quarter the 2 power runs were the opening plays of the quarter. We never went back to it. The time on the clock was 14:25. 2 plays later we ran a Read-Option play for Frank up the middle (0 yards). The time on the clock was 13:11. The score was 10-7 and that was the last time Frank Gore got a handoff....

Let me say that again. With the score 10-7, with 13:11 to go in the 3rd Quarter, FRANK GORE NEVER GOT ANOTHER RUN PLAY CALLED.

The Colts of course went on to kick a field goal after this which made the score 13-7. Still a close game. Only 2 run plays were called after this. A Read-Option which Kaep kept (-5 yards) and a draw to Hunter (2 yards).

With the score 13-7 and 12:41 in the 4th quarter (only a 1 score game) the Colts missed a field goal and the Niners took over on SF 41. The play calls were:
Kaep (under Center) in complete pass to Celek.
Kaep (Shotgun) WR screen pass to Hunter, left for 4 yards (Hunter was split out wide).
Kaep (Shotgun) sacked for -7 yards.
^^^This was a golden moment to go back to the power run plays and get back in the game. As you can see it never happened.

We head to St. Louis now where the Rams just finished giving up 193 rushing yards to the Cowboys (a pass first team). The game plan should be obvious. What will Roman call is a mystery to us all.

if roman doesn't call running plays from here on out for the rest of the season he should be fired PERIOD.

his dumb ass trying to do too much has cost us 2 games.

all he has to do is simply what the defense can't stop.

they can't stop our power run game. so we mash them in the mouth. and then we win the game.

they asked jim why did they get away from the run... and he said they wanted to stay balanced...

to which i say, isn't the object to win the game not stay balanced?

for all of their intelligence they abandoned everything that made them successful.

different run packages most creative ways to run the ball have been a staple of jim since stanford. but now they just don't do it.

makes no sense.

I heard this morning that Frank Gore got into it with Harbaugh about not running him the ball towards the end of the game....

Like I said earlier,I never understood why coaches go away from something that's been working with them....The Colts couldn't stop the run the save their lives and yet Harbaugh kept passing the ball...

Every team strive to have balance on offense, but when something is working for you;don't go away from it...

the balance is a lie though.

deceitful stats.

27 passes versus 23 runs looks pretty balanced. but it's not.

when the other team runs it 39 times and passes it 27 times... you see what i mean?

these 2 games were easy wins for us... if they just ran the ball.

our defense has been getting shat on unfairly the last 2 qb's we played..wilson and luck haven't thrown for 200 yards and have 1td and 1int combined.. against our secondary.

they're rushed it 47, and 39 times against us.

the scores in the 4th quarter with the offense in possession has been 12-3 in favor of seattle.. AFTER the defense blocked a punt and we came away with nothing because we didn't run.

and yesterday the colts had 13 points in the 4th we had 7 and the ball back...

there was no reason to abandon the run. every game had cosmetic td's at the end

gore didn't get a carry in the 4th quarter. after running for 60 in the first quarter. and 80 on 11 touches..

gore should have had 200 yards rushing and hunter should have had 100 yards rushing. the colts shouldn't have even been on the field enough to do anything. we stopped them majority of the day.

after we make them punt, run the ball grind it out score a td.

do that 3 drives and the game is OVER

I agree about the balance part, because you can't pass the ball too much and hardly run the ball or hardly pass the ball and run the ball too much....

As much we pass the ball,we still try to run the ball against teams to keep the defense honest...

Coaches need to stop letting their ego do the playcalling....:smh::smh::smh:

they're making kap look bad. people are saying they've figured him out etc.. no they haven't no qb gets figured out. the only thing they can do is send a spy to make sure he doesn't run. which is why you should run the traditional offense and kill their entire game plan.

i mean it just makes sense to run, when he was at stanford and had andrew luck he still ran the ball 30 times a game so why wouldn't he do that now?

i believe that when it's people he faces and its personal he doesn't game plan with sense he does it with ego.

the offense was out there for 53 plays

the defense was out there for 72

why?

any defense has to play 70+ snaps is going to suffer

any defense that only has to play 53 is going to look elite

its not rocket science

I hear the talk about balance. Right now you're going to hear coaches say the "politically correct" thing. However, we know it's all bullshit.

Lets look at the play calling through the quarters.
Q1 - Run: 9 Pass: 6
Q2 - Run: 3 Pass: 6
Q3 - Run: 5 Pass: 7
Q4 - Run: 0 Pass: 16

I'd like to go back to what I mentioned earlier. After the Colts FG to make the score 13-7 in the 3rd quarter it was still a simple 1 score game. We could run everything in the playbook. The play calling breakdown was - Run: 1 Pass: 9. Where is the balance there???

On our scoring drive the play calling breakdown was Run: 5 Pass: 4. That is balanced play calling. Why didn't we go back to that? For those wondering the yardage breakdown on the scoring drive was Run: 78 Pass: 14. As you can clearly see, the running plays was how we moved the ball effectively.
