Nah, it's still easy too. I picked up a fire stick over the weekend and installed it just now.
Download Adbfire from Internet and follow instructions.
It's a little tedious but mostly point and click
Morefine M1+. Not a bad Pc stick that's Dual boot . Andriod works like a breeze,installed kodi,MoviesHD,Showbox. Had no Wifi issues.

I started running everything through my Xbox One. Which is funny because XMBC (Kodi) actually started via XBox if I'm correct. So, Amazon Firestick goes in the HDMI slot. HD Antenna goes in USB slot. The guide on the XBox One is Dope. It sees channels and apps. Find a family member/friend slide them $10 bucks to get their username and password (thanks mom). You can watch most cable channels live that way (I get my HGTV and Food Network on this way). I do this with both my apple TV and FireStick and I have one Google (Andriod Box). Yes, all the TVs are smart TV just in case I need direct access to Hulu or Netflix. On that note, Hule is the key to cutting the cord. Once you retrain your mind to not having to see something the second it's on, your wallet lightens. It's like Neo in the Matrix. Similarly, KODI is the same thing as On Demand or DVR. You can watch all the old series you want. And it has whatever is not on Netflix or Hulu. I couldnt find Monk, The Mentalist, etc. on anything but Kodi.

Summation, It doesnt matter what you choose (Apple, Microsoft, Roku, Google, etc.). Retrain your mind off live TV. All of those solutions have a way to run Kodi; however, apple would require you to do Kodi on laptop, iMac and stream via Airplay.

On one of the YouTube videos I was watching, it mentioned how to watch Live Sports, but that name that was mentioned isn't on my Channel 1 line up. Any suggestions other than using the Antenna?

I have one, and love it so far. Loads content quickly for Kodi. Since it uses the Google Play store you have access to tons of apps, though the HBO app on the Play store is for touch based devices, and does not work well at all with the device. Also the remote is a janky.

Decent box. Had mine for a while.
If you load the Beast or any other fully loaded builds be sure to tweak it afterwards. Those builds load everything and the kitchen sink on your box. You will end up with damn near 100 addons that you will never use. I only have a few essential addons on mine to free up room and make it run smoother.

nice, found another called Dexter. It gives the channels in HD, its $12 a month, and you get movie channels, PPV events as well
