Listen.
Kerr is good. He makes the obvious adjustments at times which is more than other teams do. And he draws up nice plays off the timeout and that's enough to win. He's not pop level not even close yet and Walton having the team on auto pilot bites into the impact.
However he is most def not trash. I do have some faith he will do something when it counts.

Not ignoring it. But spurs are built to play and win both ways. Warriors are not. Spurs dictated that pace. Period.

Wasn't like Kerr was away from the team in Europe tho Bruh. He just wasn't on the bench during that time and Walton ran his sets and he was involved with the team. Now if Walton ran his own sets and game plans then I would buy that... Maybe Walton was able to do what he did because of Kerrs system already being in place!?

yea but Kerrs system is Alvin Gentry's that's why Gentry got himself a job in n.o.

But im not here to slight Kerr. Not being as great as popovich is what any active coach in the nba can say.

Definitely not saying he's as good as Pop, he's only in year 2 but he did out coach Pop tonite and he's a helluva coach is all I'm saying, and if we want to give credit to assistants then no head coach should be respected as all of them have input from their assistants. Hell, Phil is considered great but Tex Winter developed the a Triangle so...

Now for the hyping, every time GS would win, you and others would come in and say "but they havent played the spurs yet", or the spurs are a great defensive team, or they can beat the warriors because they match up well with them; one mofo said Leonard and Duncan are the best post up players in the league:hmm:; unkownsoldier was quoting spurs stats and saying they will slow the warriors down, blah blah blah, and you was like yep :lol:; every thread you come in and say but the warriors gotta face the spurs though..65 wins dont mean shit when they gotta play GS; if they even play them; you stay sounding foolish every time you mention the spurs...but continue to hope it might get you somewhere...

Yeah... I think he's been desperate since his all nighters when the Spurs best the Heat in the heater-gate game so he throws shit at the wall and hopes something sticks. :lol:
 
Curry is too much for the Spurs. The weak link is Parker. They can't play him against GS. He has to score to even be effective and he can't. But this is not surprising as he has lost a few steps and can't break down defense like he use to.

They really have no answer for the PG spot. GS will always be able to exploit 1 mismatch because for the PG issue. The spurs are approaching the games like I thought they would and they are playing low possession basketball as a way to give yourself a chance to win, but GS is beating them at their own game.

Spurs will have to play perfect basketball to win because of the PG issues. They can not allow themselves to be so dominated at that position and that is not going to fix that this year. So I don't know what Pop is going to do or what he can do. He's out matched.
