2015 - 2016 NBA Thread - NBA where amazing happens - all rookie team named!!!

gotta give the warriors props. the spurs played the game the way they wanted and still lost. it will be interesting to see how they look next year. they get a point guard they will be alright. now this would be a good spot for durant and westbrook. also good spot for pau. dont matter tho the warriors are four five years ahead of everybody else but never know tho in the playoffs

That's true. I mentioned that Parker can't score or break anyone down anymore. That has been the Spurs bread and butter throughout his time in SA. This automatically effects the Spurs spacing causing teams to pack in the lane more. Plus, Pops wants to treat LA like Duncan when you could throw the ball to Timmy every possession in the last 6 minutes of a game and Timmy would dominate. LA ain't that type of big man. And usually when Parker couldn't break a defense down, Manu could and we know Manu is past that now. I figured them, not recruiting a break down PG would haunt them eventually once Parker hit that wall.

The spurs have almost everything they need to match GS, but that pg position is such a difference maker. If Parker could score 20, then obviously it's a different ball game, but I don't think he put up 20 in none of the games against GS. He can't guard anyone and he can't score against GS.
Actually they dont have what they need; LA is so so; And leonard is not an offensive dominate player; GS wins every matchup possible against the spurs; it shows when they play; only reason why the 2 games were close is because they were on the back end of back 2 back; Spurs dont matchup well with GS at all; and the way they play, plays right into what GS wants to do on offense and defense; Thats why I was never into oh the spurs this or that; shit is fools gold when they play the warriors; but again people dont actually watch the games, they read internet shit and look at meaningless numbers:hmm:...

Yea.. you name me and unknown when pressed. And still have yet to accurately depict what they fuck we said or how one can overhype a 65 win team with a core of players with 3 rings, 2 years removed from the last one. Again my man, you sound like a fucking fool. And kill the bullshit about me coming in every thread saying GS has to play Spurs... Only thing i say in every thread is fuck GS...I been talking sports with most these clowns over a decade and they all will tell you you're full of shit. You pulling shit out your ass.

So that means Luke Walton has passed them both then yes?
You talking about past which represents what right now??? how does those rings helped them now against GS??? please give detail analysis; no you sound like the fool because you are constantly bringing up shit that doesnt matter as it relates to now; Your hate for GS is funny though; but when they continue to win, im sure you will be on constant suicide watch; let me help you out....:suicide:

I don't think it's so lop sided. The only difference is the guard position which is the most dominate position for GS.

Let's not pretend that Steph is the reason why some of these kats are getting shine in the first place. They have a team, 1 or 2 games without Steph they're fine, others can shine a bit, but they would not be anywhere near where they are without his stellar play.

true, steph is the reason no doubt; but klay is way better than green; im taking bogut over any of the spurs center; im taking green of LA; and Leonard is better than Barnes, but GS can contain him; GS bench well thats not even up for debate; so again where is this closeness?? I dont see it; dont be fooled by the Spurs record; GS dominated them in 3 out of 4 games; and the spurs barely beat them in the other; when GS is healthy, matchup wise its not close; The spurs are what they are; And I think outside of OKC, they match up with every other team well, not including GS...

I see what your saying and I know Green fits in a system better when the Spurs was running more of an open offense. This slower pace style doesn't suit him well. So yes, Klay is better, but I don't think as much as you see it.

That's definitely your opinion about Bogut, lol.

i would take Green over LA too, but they are not in the same system so roles are different. Green has better ability, so Pop cant use LA like GS use Green.

Yes, Leonard is better than Barns and yes he is containable, BUT he fits in the role they want him to play. He missed shots yesterday. Good defense by GS. It happens.

The bench, well yeah, I give the edge to GS for sure.

When the engine is working fully GS is tough to beat, will not dispute that. If the Spurs get put out early, then I was wrong all year about them. If they get swept or lose in 4 or 5 to GS, then I was wrong about them. If it's a close series, then I was right about them. If the Spurs win, then I was wrong about them because I don't think they can beat GS in 7. All I'm saying is, out of all the teams in the playoffs, I believe they have the best chance. The odds do not favor me being right. And trust, I'm ok with that, lol.

Thats why he's the MVP bruh. The other matchups, even if the Spurs have the advantage for a game, are really close....

Let do the math real quick: Curry and Livingston (lets not forget his contributions) vs. Past his prime Tony Parker, Patty Mills and Past his prime Andre Miller?!?!?!? Can't get much more lopsided that that AND when they tried to put a bigger player on Curry (Anderson and sometimes Leonard), GS just exploited the matchups where they moved their PG too... Spurs are an amazing team, but that matchup problem is too much to overcome, AND, whether people want to admit it or not, at times during the game they looked old...

them niggas stink lol he said it all.
this full #1 seed last year was healthy and got swept by the cavs without lebron and kyrie. in fact they rested kyrie to get ready for the finals because they felt they didn't need him in order to win the series AND THEY DIDN'T
and the hawks were fully healthy

Hawks lost and we need the Smelltrics to shit to bed and we get this win tomorrow

Heat will officially be 3rd seed

Let's go

Meanwhile my Lakers is getting washed again in OKC

As much as D-Russ was bitching for playing time when he gets on the floor its like he stuck in third gear

Sucks Kobe going out like this

Cause I hate you.

And how is it not?

When spo took over the reigns from Riley they went deep into the lottery several times

This will be our only time missing the playoffs

I'm really sorry you feel that way about me Bruh... Kinda messed up but I have to accept it. Respect to you for at least being straight up with it tho... Grown man stuff right there...

Let Fred make the playoffs first Bruh before you start comparing him to folks.... Also, he had a better team to coach this season than Spol did too. He was just straight ass this season, All Due Respect...

maryland's trimble and stone to enter nba draft.

Maryland’s Diamond Stone and Melo Trimble will enter the NBA draft, the university announced Monday.

The news comes after junior power forward Robert Carter Jr. announced his intentions to enter the draft on Thursday.

Stone will hire an agent, and thus lose his eligibility at Maryland, while Trimble will not hire representation and remain eligible with the Terrapins if he pulls out of the draft by May 25.

In his freshman season, Stone averaged 12.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game for the Terrapins. The center was named the AP’s Big Ten Newcomer of the Year, and was also a third-team All-Big Ten selection and an All-Freshman honoree.

Both need to chill another year... Unless there is some underlying reason, grades, etc.
