Looked like Cerrone and Stephens had a little beef at the weigh-ins.
Looking forward to the Mckenzie fight. I wonder if he's gonna pull off another guillotine win.

Should be fireworks with Cerrone and Stephens

McKenzie noted on some of the MMA podcast stuff in recent weeks that he's put in a bit of training with Nick and Nate there in Stockton, CA.

Gonna check out the event in a bit. Got the DVR going right now. Gonna skim over any and all ads, per usual √

I think Poirier's got this one. He's on a good streak and made his mark upon arriving on the scene January 1st, 2011 for the UFC. He upset favorite/supposed number 1 contender JOSH GRISPI at that time (and Grispi was lined up to face Jose Aldo on that date, but Aldo was injured, and eventually matched up with Mark Hominick in that great co-main event at the UFC event in Toronto in late-April 2011 in front of 55,000 and them cats went 5 rounds).

I hope Korean Zombie doesn't upset him with a 7-second KO like he did Mark Hominick many months back. That shit was like WTF?!

What a submission win for the Korean Zombie. That's the same guy that lost 2 straight in the WEC. Confidence can take you to the top.:D

Great scrap with POIRIER / JUNG.

The winner will definitely be facing the winner of ALDO/KOCH (July - Calgary, Alberta - Canada) later this year. No question.

Great job with your picks, Naraku. Do you $-BET on fights too? If not, you should, bro. You always do a solid job with your Tapology predictions. Here are mine ...

I am never too sure with ROUND / METHOD OF VICTORY ... so I just aimed for picks here (and of late) ...

For those who wanna see one of the early candidates for Fight of the Year ... check out that JUNG/POIRIER scrap.

Also ... for high level muay thai ... watch CERRONE / STEPHENS.

Have a good weekend, all.

Won a copy of the FIGHTVILLE documentary on dvd today. Quick run contest from yesterday. Should be good. It features Dustin Poirier and some other fights making their way up in the game.
